4.5 -- I knew I'd get some beneficial truths and tools out of this book, but I liked it even more than I thought I would. Really good read. Working on my communication to emulate Jesus is definitely the wisest thing to do, but when you sift through the layers of what that actually means or looks like and even what it might cost, the risks and challenges become greater. I want to continue following Him no matter what, so learning to communicate like He did-- being attentive, connecting deeply, asking thoughtful questions, showing authenticity, telling good stories, pursuing healthy solitude to get recharged, and redefining success-- is a worthwhile pursuit, however long it takes me.

I highly recommend this book. Good work by Jedd and Erik!

This was on my list to read for quite a few years. I honestly just wanted to read it and move onto something else because I was still interested in it a little. I was surprised to how applicable this was for me. It was a really good read and was very helpful to me too.

I only expected this book to be average.

I was wrong. Very pleased with how the book is formatted and set up. The content itself is fantastic. There are plenty of anecdotes from modern history as well as from the Bible. The seven principles described in the book are not necessary surprising, but when viewed through the life of Jesus, they take on a whole new level of meaning. Medefind is able to translate these principles into practical areas in each person's life now and provides ample opportunity to practice these principles as you go through the book.

I would advise reading each chapter at a time and then taking notes. Then start putting it into practice. I can genuinely say that this book has given me a greater understanding of Jesus and the incredible communicator that he was. The way that I interact with others has actually changed because of this book.

Take the time to read this book. Put effort into it and I know you will be amazed at what you can get out of it.

Great perspective on interpersonal communication, using Jesus as an example. Not a shallow self-help book with tricks of the trade. Rather, it reminds us to slow down, ask good questions, and put other people before ourselves. Refreshing.

I was not expecting this book to be as good as it was. I was still skeptical a few pages in. I can honestly say that this book is deep and rich in its ideas. It has made a short list of books that I actually plan on rereading.

This is an excellent book on how Jesus interacted with people and how he communicated without taking the decision process away from those he served. I recommend it.
