An All-Access pass to Sex, Love, and Rock ‘N Roll. Because what happens on tour doesn’t always stay on tour…
From Australia to the World…
Chicago. The last stop of their wildly successful US tour sees Australia’s biggest rock band, The Screaming Tuesdays, in sultry, summer-time Chicago to play two sold-out shows. But the stage is not where the action is, and no one knows what goes on behind the scenes...
Jet’s never seen a woman project ‘No Touching’ quite so effectively as Charlie, the music journalist travelling with the band. He’s never been into the chase, but there’s something about Charlie that just won’t let him go. Now that the tour is winding down, there’s only one order of business left – an in-depth interview that’s about to go a lot deeper than either of them expect.
Rhian Cahill is the alter ego of a former stay-at-home mother of four. With motherly duties rapidly dwindling, Rhian is able to make use of the fertile imagination she used to keep herself sane for all those years of slavery. Years spent living overseas and visiting tropical climates have helped inspire some steamy stories.
Multi-published in erotic romance, paranormal romance, and contemporary romance, Rhian, with the help of Mr. Muse, spends her days and nights writing.
When not glued to the keyboard you’ll find her, book or knitting in hand, avoiding any and all housework as much as possible.
The final book in the saga is Jet’s… and he has been fighting his attraction to Charlie the whole time they’ve been in the US. I enjoyed seeing Charlie push Jet’s buttons and asking questions about things that he has been holding close to his chest. But there was no denying the sexual tension between them and soon I saw how sizzling these two were together!
This is the last installment of this series, and we are back with the band members.
Jet is not your typical rock star. He does not partake in the groupies, isn't into the sex and drugs and rock n roll scene at all. But reporter Charlie makes all kinds of things perk up in Jet. She makes him want to indulge in all those things, but there is something deeper there too.
Charlie sees more in Jet than the persona he puts out there. He intrigues her, makes her want to know more, feel more.
This is the pairing of the lot that I felt could make it more than a fling. I felt there was a deeper connection between them, more than just a spark of interest. And boy when things heat up, they get hot hot hot.
So, can they make things work? Are these two destined for a HEA? Gah, we won't know!!
Ms Cahill is a new-to-me author, but I very much enjoyed her writing style, and has made me want to go back and read more of her works.
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this novella series, getting a look behind the scenes of a concert tour.
I would love if we got more of these character's stories down the track some where.
Jet, the 6th episode of Secret Confessions: Backstage – is the hottest of the series and one story I’d like to see continued. Jet is the real drive behind The Screaming Tuesdays, the real master of their music. All the Tuesdays are talented in their own right, but Jet is the total package, even though his voice is his instrument on stage, he can play all instruments well (though he demurs about bagpipes). He is obsessive about his notebook, where he keeps his works-in-progress, his thoughts and his secrets. He has been wanting to get his hands (mouth, body) on Charlie since he first saw her on the first day of the US tour.
Charlie has been embedded with The Screaming Tuesdays since the beginning of the US tour. A reporter looking for the ‘in-depth true story’ about the band, the tour and the individual Tuesdays; she has kept her distance from all the members of the band and their support team. She wants nothing to tarnish her reputation as a reporter and devalue her work. She knows how quickly her reputation can be lost if she is linked to anyone she interviews. She has been painfully aware of Jet from the first moment and has delayed his interview until the last.
The last day of the tour, the last night, after the last concert, Charlie is scheduled to do her in-depth interview with Jet. Jet made a decision to avoid alcohol for the US tour; he states he’s not an alcoholic and it is just a personal choice. The Tuesdays have been betting against him, but the US tour is over and the betting pool is unclaimed. Yanis brings Charlie to Jet’s suite just as he’s about to shower off after the performance. Jet doesn’t want to do the interview with Charlie because he’s unsure he can keep his hands off her. Chicago is about to get hot!
Jet Stone, lead singer and frontman for the Australian rock band Screaming Tuesdays, is wrapping up the final leg of their U.S. tour. Music journalist Charlie Harris is accompanying the band with an all-access pass and commitments for exclusive in-depth interviews with each band member.
Charlie is excited to travel with and interview the band but her strong attraction to Jet is going to make his interview the toughest to do. Having discovered during this tour that Jet is not the rock star, man-whore the media portrays him to be, but instead a talented, caring, music professional who’s highly respected amongst his peers, Charlie has to maintain her professional appearance and keep her heart guarded to get through the interview.
Jet loves music and the fans but not the “rock life” image, so he tries hard to keep his personal life personal. An easy task if he can just get through his interview with Charlie without doing something stupid like pushing her against the wall and having his way with her.
Soon their undeniable attraction has them exploring more than just interview questions when Jet makes a proposition that could get Charlie both the story she wants, and the man who makes her hotter than she’s ever been.
Secret Confessions: Backstage - Jet is a steamy hot short read with a well-developed story and characters. This is definitely one you'll want to curl up with. Recommended read!

Well the US tour is over. In three days it is back to Australia. Jet just has to get through the in-depth interview with Charlie Harris. The Charlie that Jet envisioned was “...a crusty old rock journo who’d been around when Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones were in their prime.” Charlotte Harris, however was all woman with mile-long legs and a sleek body. After three months of having Charlie following the Screaming Tuesdays while on tour, the sexual tension is at an all time high. Now that the tour is over and Jet has Charlie alone in his room, there may be more to this interview than words.
This is the final episode to the Secret Confessions: Backstage series. I really enjoyed reading about the backstage antics of the band, crew, managers and audience members. I am a little saddened that I will not get a chance to read a new story next week.

The last story in the compilation is a good one, again this is a new author for me.
We are back with the band members, Charlie is a music journalist travelling with the band and her last assignment is an in-depth interview with Jet.
Now Jet isn't the archetypal Rock star, he doesn't partake in the groupies he hasn't touched a drop of alcohol during the tour, but Charlie sets off all sorts of emotions and he is tempted to jump off the band wagon by tension he feels when she gets close.
Charlie has been studying Jet, and as she conducts the interview he realises she sees more that what he projects to the public.
Will Jet answer Charlies questions? Will they give in to the attraction that they cannot deny anymore?
Its a hot intense story and I enjoyed watching the pair show their true feelings for each other.
Note: some of the stories have MM and MMFM scenes.
This is the first story I have read from this author but I definitely need to seek out more of her books! Jet may be a short story but it packed in emotion and heat quite effectively.
The Screaming Tuesdays frontman Jet and music journalist Charlie (Charlotte) have been dancing around each other with a raging case of UST for the past three months. Now the tour has come to an end and it is time for the final interview. Charlie has seen two very different sides of Jet over the past few months: the arrogant side the media likes to portray and the down to earth guy who makes sure everyone gets along, turns groupies away and remembers the band's more humble beginnings. Which one is the real Jet? She is determined to find out, and he doesn't intend to let her just walk away.
Jet and Charlie is such an incredible edition to the Secret Confessions series!
Charlie joins the Screaming Tuesday's while they are on tour and the attraction to Jet is instantaneous! But she doesn't want anything to ruin her reputation as a reporter...especially something so cliche as falling for a member of the band! When she finally has her interview with Jet on the last night of the tour, the questions lead them to explore the undeniable attraction they've been feeling the whole time. When Jet makes Charlie an offer she can't refuse (nor does she want to!) backstage just gets that much hotter!
Join Jet & Charlie in this short, steamy story that will leave you screaming for more!
This was one of my favorites of these series of novellas. Jet and Charlie were wonderfully written and their story is one that I would've loved to have a full book on. Jet was more than just the stereotypical rock star. He was a man who had more to him and you were able to see that in the short span of this story. Charlie was a great character too and when they were together you felt the sexual tension and even stronger feelings. I really enjoyed this story. It was also written well and as it was the first Ive read by this author, I am definitely interested in reading more of her work.
This is only the second story of the series I've read but it is my favorite one. Rhian Cahill did a terrific job writing Jet's story and his chemistry with Charlie (Charlotte) was incredible. The author was able to capture their essence in only a few pages and I fell in love with them as a couple. I liked that their relationship was more than just about sex and believe me, the sex was freaking hot. Jet and Charlie had a deep connection and they seemed to understand each other in such a short time. I liked that Jet did not come across as the stereotypical rockstar who only indulged in booze, groupies and sex. I could not get enough of this couple and only wished that it was a longer story.
The Screaming Tuesdays tour comes to an almighty end with Rhian Cahill offering the last story for the series focusing on the band’s frontman, Jet. Cahill immediately thrusts us into Jet’s tumultuous final tour interview with the bands exclusive reporter, Charlie (Charlotte) Harris. Their meeting is filled with all the lust, chemistry and sensuality that you come to expect from Cahill. And let’s not even get started on how hot the sex is! The perfect end to what is an exciting new series from Escape Publishing.
Jet brings about a red-hot completion to the Secret Confessions: Backstage novella series. Jet is not the typical rock star. Charlie is a journalist traveling with The Screaming Tuesdays during their US tour. Rhian Cahill brings the heat, sexual tension and brilliantly written dialog between Charlie and Jet in their last days together in Chicago. Although Jet ends in a happy for now scenario, Rhian Cahill leaves Jet open for a happy ever after.
I thought this was a great short story. This book is part of a series written about one night in the life of a rock band. Each story is written by a different author. This story is about Jet, the bands lead singer. Last night on their American leg of their worldwide tour, enjoy seeing the rockstar life through Jet's eyes. Is his life really as he is portrayed in public? First book I've read by this author but definitely not my last.
4.5* I really loved this story, Jet is hot! and I wished this had been a full length novel, just so I could have more Jet.
This is personally my favourite of the Backstage Confessions series, and one I would recommend reading especially if you love a hot Rock Star romance, but it will certainly leave you wanting more. :-)
The memoirs of life on the road. Charlie takes her job seriously. She loves her work: The travel and high profile assignments keep her adrenaline pumping and her mind sharp. As a musician, Jet has learned anything can happen. Nothing surprises him anymore. The attraction between Jet and Charlie sizzles.
Loved this short story, rock star Jet, attraction to Reporter Charlie, unable to act on it, not sure if she feels the connection or not, he isn't into the groupies scene. You will love their story, left me wanting more, would love a book on them, didn't want their story to end.
This is the story of Jet the lead singer of Screaming Tuesdays and Charlie a reporter for rock stars. Charlie comes to Jet's room to do an in depth interview with him. Their chemistry is sizzling and Charlie agrees to 3 hot days with Jet. I want to know more about Jet and Charlie! I loved them! This story was short, hot and sexy! I would definitely recommend it!
Wonderful add to the "Secret Confessions: Backstage" series. What a way to end the series - we finally get to see Jet the lead singer of the Screaming Tuesdays & his HFN & possibly HEA, Charlie - great read!
Very quick read, yet still has great characters that suck you in within the first few pages.
Hot and steamy novella! The author does a great job creating sexual tension, lust and want between a Jet and Charlie. This was a hot and steamy novella that had me wishing for a longer book. This is part of a series but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone story. I was given an ARC for an honest review.
I know this was meant to be short and sweet but it left me wanting more. I want to know what happened three months later and see more of the wonderful connection they have.
48 pages of hot quick read that was entertaining but not enough for me to completely immerse myself in. As per usual Rhian Cahill's writing was phenomenal. I liked both Jet and Charlie and loved the premise of their story, I just wanted more.
