Downloaded this one on a recommendation from the author and a book friend, annnnd…this story just has you on tenter hooks most of the way through it.
Neira, a tattooist trying to make the most of her life after a break up with her boyfriend, little does she know what happened to him. As Kage has set his sights on her and no-one is going to stand in his way, his stalking of her, laying down foundations that he knows she will fall into either by herself or by him taking…not giving you anymore than this 🤭

It was one of those reads you don’t want to put down but need sleep 😂 the angst that Nina builds up makes your heart race at times. Our shy FMC doesn’t know which way to turn, one minute she has a feisty strength, the next she is a mess of emotions. The spice is spicy, the stalking is 🤌, the m^*dering 🔪, the domination, and Damien well, he’s en par with a darkness we’ve yet find out if it’s comparable to Kage’s or worse 😬 I need the next one for answers 🫣

Wow this is my first read from this author and holy hell what a dark ride this was.
Please tell me Damien is her end game I don't want her with that unhinged madman. You made me physically hate this guy so much I really wanted to throw my phone haha. I am glad I gave it a chance though this friend group is unhinged, twisted and unforgivable but somehow Damien made the cut for me I'm still worried he's not her end game and that madman is her endgame 😭 please no haha.
Neira a sweet innocent tattoo artist catches the eye of Kage a seriously unhinged dark obsessed madman who up ends her world to create a perfect toy.
He will use whatever he can to trap her and make her his obedient little flower then rip the petals off so she can't run and caged in his darkness.
Scared of the future of this series after that ending.

This book was faced paced, cryptic and intense. The multiple point of view, the love interests that ping pong back and forth. It was like an endless tennis match trying to figure out Damien and Kage next move.The book progressively got darker and twisted, as did Kage. The rage inside Kage ignites, ready to explode. Kage is always watching, from every angle, in every room gradually become endlessly infatuated with his sweet little doll Neira, that holds a black dahlia so close to his heart. What a book! My heart was pounding non stop and I couldn't stop reading. This was a turbulent roller coaster ride, that stops at the top of the steepest hill and let's you dangle head first once you got to the end.

Neira is a tattoo artist and a fighter with a past full of toxic relationships who refuses to be walked over. One night, Kage spots her from his Ducati and his obsession is born. He's dark, possessive and completely unhinged, the kind who doesn't ask, he takes. While he slowly spins his web, Neira meets Damien and Lyam, his closest friends, and realizes too late that it's not just one man she has to deal with.
What I loved most is that the obsession feels real. It wraps around you and doesn't let go. The characters are so different from each other: Kage is control, Damien is that silent danger who says nothing but sees everything, and Lyam is pure chaos. Each one has their own personality, quirks and way of pulling you in. And that ending... I'm still in shock and genuinely scared of what's coming in book 2. I need part two now.

Recommended if you love MMCs who cross every line and endings that leave you shaking.

I read Asphalt Grave first and loved Kage, so I had to read more about him in Chasing Obsession. This book did not disappoint; I loved it. I need part two, like, yesterday! I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes dark romance books.
Neira is the MFC, who is a tattoo artist and has had a bunch of bad relationships. Then she meets Kage, and, being super lucky, also meets Damien.
"She doesn’t know it yet, but she’s already mine—written in fate, carved into bone, bound in a way she’ll never escape."
I think my boy Kage might have some serious issues though... He’s possessive, jealous, and definitely goes the extra mile to get what he wants. Once he sees Neira, that’s it, she is his whether she knows it or not.
Lyam, Damien, and Kage are all wild, crazy, and I can’t get enough of them.

Chasing Obsession is the definition of a book that completely consumes you it's "just one more chapter" energy from start to finish.
I’ve read plenty of books with obsessed MMCs, but Kage seriously raises the bar. Neira had absolutely no idea what she was getting herself into when she agreed to that date. Then enter Damien, who falls fast and hard for her, then the twists taking you into a very dark cliffhanger.
Getting inside all of their heads through the multiple POV was brilliant although I’m calling it now, I don’t think Kage is redeemable in the slightest. The chemistry between Neira, Kage(in the beginning), and Damien is absolute perfection, delivering incredible spice tucked between all the dark scenes. This book is unapologetically dark, twisted, and delightfully chaotic, I am worried for book 2 though. this one is an instant 5 star read.

Loved absolutely loved. This book was unique in the best of ways, This book starts off with Kage (Mmc) a chaotic dominate male who sets his sites on the beautiful Fmc Niera who works in a tattoo parlor. She becomes an obsession and he must have her no matter what the cost but somethings take time and some plans dont always go accordingly. Will Kage get Niera? Or will Niera run from the fate thats planned for her? You'll have to read to find out more. I absolutely loved the unique characters and how in depth there likes and dislikes are written. The suspense in this book is everything you've ever needed and I'm ready for more. Favorite character Damien cause 🥵 who wouldn't want a sweet, obsessive, Dark tall man to cook for them. Highly Recommend!

I received this as an arc and after reading the blurb this was not what i was expecting.
Neira has been in a run of bad relationships, then in walks Kage to her tatto parlour. She instantly drawn to him. Kage wants Neira, his obsession, but how dark does his desire go. Reading the blurb for the book you think you might know how this goes but you definitely don't.
To be honest the after the first quarter i was wondering if i would finish this book but i am so glad i kept going as it got so good. Absolutely loved it. Once i hit about halfway through I couldn't put it down. But please if you are going to read this book read the triggers, it is dark and even some scenes made even me pause.

I don’t know if I need a baptism or a spiritual cleansing but I’m definitely questioning myself after reading this because I devoured it in less than 24 hours and absolutely love the writing! I was hooked from start to finish by my goodness when Ruby enters the chat, it had me holding my breath! If you love a really dark and unhinged read then please check the trigger warnings before you go into this book but hey, no judgement here if you devour it too! Don’t be like me and always go in blind. If you love a HEA, this book is not for you but I love a non cliché ending, but this.. Nina.. you left me on a cliffhanger and I’m gonna need the next book asap. 5 stars ⭐️

Wonderful
This book was another wonderful work of Knox’s. She was able to pull in readers into a twisted story following Neira as she’s sucked into Kage’s obsession. It’s honestly so good and I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend it for any fans of Dark Romance! It was gripping the way she captured all the characters perspectives and the description of their obsession with Neira as it grows. I loved it so much and cannot recommend it enough!

But man… lemme tell you… Kage could turn me inside out and I’d probably thank him as he lit my world on fire.
I have no limits to my crazy for Nina’s MMCs.
And really, it’s HER fault for writing them so sinfully delicious. What does she expect when feral little raccoons like myself find them? Absolutely unhinged and possibly terrifying obsession.

I read this after reading Asphalt Grave (if you haven't read it then go do that!!).
I am quickly falling in love with Nina's twisted mind. Kage, Damien and Lyam are all wow! I honestly don't know how to describe them or this book. You really just have to read it to understand. But beware it's not for the faint of heart - check your triggers (there are a lot of them!).
The only thing I didn't like was that cliffhanger! So unfair Nina!!

Okay, wow. I don’t know what I was exactly expecting with this book but my expectations were blown away. This story follows Neira and her basically questionable taste in men. Kage is definitely one of the most unhinged MMC I have ever read. The spice is spicy in here. Baseball bats, Shotguns, Snakes. You know, the usual. I NEED the next book right away. Great read

Oh man this was another wild and unhinged book by Nina! I loved it so much! The MMC’s are each their own kind of crazy (one is completely psychotic) and I love every single one of them, even Kage. 😜 This book is dark and delicious and I couldn’t get enough. The cliffhanger has me feral for the next book!!

The way I fell for Damien 🤤 🥵
Kage is completely unhinged but I would still pick him over Lyam! Lyam is something else! I would run away from him as fast as I could! Poor Neira had no idea what she was getting herself into! I devoured this book in a couple days. I cant wait for book two so I can see what lies ahead!

Oh Nina, I love your twisted mind. I adored this so much!
Kage, Damien, and Lyam is just *chef's kiss*, the absolutely unhinged plot is beautiful, the characters are fantastic, and the story is just fantastic.
Check the trigger warnings! This is a dark romance, so definitely not for everyone. But the people who will like it are going to love it! I can't wait to start the next one!

I have seriously read this twice and both times I swear it gets better and better Kage is my favorite. I love the obsession and all three of the men in this. I highly recommend this and then go read asphalt grave
