Lacked plant specific needs

I was expecting more vegetable plant specific hydroponics requirement. I.E. which technique for which vegetable, plant specific hydroponics nutrient requirements, ideal ph, ec meter requirements/ranges for which vegetables so I could group the vegetable & provide the correct nutrient balance for optimal growing sucess.

Very, very basic

I was expecting a more detailed book that would provide more assistance in setting up a hydroponic system. Everything I read in here could be obtained from an aero garden users guide and Google.
