This is book two of the thrilling relationship between Lux and Victor. I love how the author takes the reader deeper in Lux's and Victor's past. This book answers some questions but brings up more questions such as will their relationship be able to last? I am anxiously waiting for book 3 to come out!!!!

I usually do not write reviews. But the author is very interactive withherher fans, and humble to respond to almost everyone, I just hope i could help her in her writing journey!
After setting a reminder that I needed to buy this, I had this programmed into my phone (I wanted it that bad). I am happy to say I enjoyed the book! Mrs. Avant went into great detail with the story. It was a comfortable read. When I thought I figured something out, turns out I was surprised! And I loved everyone! I loved how (spolier) she allowed Gina views, even from the dead, come back into play. I rather read a book with each person emotion, personality, etc coming through. I feel more connected, therefore more interested that way. Its not the typical love story nor is it the typical BW/WM or even billionaire alpha love story. It is a breath of fresh air. Even though I hate cliff hangers for my own selfish reason (I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS) she ended it perfectly. Its unfortunate that July is so far away!! But I am now a loyal fan who awaits July! And look forward to many more from this author!

Awesome
I have no problem with sequels as long as their good and you seem to have no problems with writing a good sequel so I'm not at all disappointed. I loved fear and fear 2 and I'm sure book 3 will be equally amazing.

Amarie Avant you have done it again,another #5StarRead!!! I absolutely adored Victor & Luxury' s relationship. I enjoyed this book soo much, I can't wait until July for Part#3!!!

Okay first off this story had me confused. I don't know if it was the grammar or the sentence structure but I couldn't figure out what I was reading or who was speaking most of the time. Second, half the book was a bunch of nonsense to me. Where it was leading to took forever. But when it finally got there it was on. Now I'm pissed because.... Well I can't really say. To me this really didn't measure up to the first book.

What I liked from the read.... Drama, drama and more drama from these two main characters and let's not forget some of those amazing secondary characters that will keep you on the edge of your seat turning the pages! You, the readers are really getting a story of a erotic romance, suspense, mystery, thriller, action, family secrets, twist and turns but in the end wow what a alpha male. This author really worked her magic with this storyline with all of the details she presented...you will have to keep up!

So much drama & so much hotness rolled into this awesome read! After the end of Fear I, I was curious to see how the author would make it work for Lux and Vic, but I wasn't expecting all that I got in Fear II. The emotional connection between the two of them was so deep, even though their lives were worlds apart. Moreover, the way that Ms. Avant allowed things to unfold...Wow! This series is so much deeper than two people meeting and falling in love. The Fear series encompasses the sum of all things that make us tick, in relation to how we love, forgive and cope with the realities of life. Amarie Avant is simply awesome pushing the limits. A must read for those preferring a read with depth!

Loved It
But I'm pissed at the ending. And then you tell me that the next installment won't come till June......I loved this installment and the series Thus far. I hope the next installment is worthy of this series. Very few typo's in this book. But there were a few added unnecessary words here and there. It made things a little hard to decipher some times but for total context I still give it 5 stars

Amazing read!! I really enjoy watching how the relationship between Victor and Luxury continues to grow. Victor is the ultimate alpha man, my way or MY way type of guy. Luxury is a young woman that wants to just be loved by Victor. Amarie Avant did a great job weaving this story of mystery, intrigue, hot, hot, hotness and family secrets. Great job and I highly recommend this read.

Unfearful
I had forgotten the premise of the first "FEAR" novel when I started the second. It was not as I expected! The story between Lux and Victor was not only HOT, but maudlin and sorrowful. Interwoven with her mother's tale, this was an EXCELLENT story!

The adventure for Luxury and Victor continues and this is time, they are in England. I have to say, it wasn't as exciting as the first volume, mostly because I really could have done without all the details regarding Gina/Jonah/Charles triangle. I did like that the author allows us to get into the relationship dynamics between our two main characters. I am still trying to figure out what exactly Victor's M.O. is. He is like an onion. It is not a case of what you see is what you get with this guy. He hides everything. This is not the kind of man most would want to build a relationship with, much less a family. But I will tell you what changes all of that. He's extremely wealthy, gorgeous and great in bed. I reckon most women, like Luxury, couldn't say no to that. I just imagine, if he was just an okay looking guy who works as an engineer, he wouldn't get as many passes as Victor does. Did I also mention he's royalty? Anyway, I wasn't on the edge of my seat for this one. I found myself sort of skimming the parts of the book that delve into Gina's (Luxury's mom) diary. I guess, I just don't care who killed her, but I guess all of this will be revealed in the next installment "Fear III." I liked this book, generally, but only because it's a means to an end to get to what really happens with the characters.

3.50 Stars. About 2 months pass before Lux's father convinces Vic to return to the States for Lux because her father feels his friend Charles killed his wife. Before Vic and Lux leave for England, Charles gives Lux her mother's diary. This section of the book tells the story of Lux and Vic in the present day and simultaneously via the diary tells the story of a love triangle involving Lux's parents and her father's friend Charles Everhart. Spelling errors, syntax, filler descriptions and inner thoughts of characters contributed to this book's slow moving and often wondering storyline; aside from that, the book is a good read. There is a lot going on, Victor is a broken, grief stricken, lier by omission borderline socio-path who uses sex with Lux as valve to relieve the emotional pressures of his demons and Lux is a willing reservoir. Victor was once married with a son, they died in an auto accident, he forfeited on his engagement to Maddy; as a result, I think, Maddy has joined forces with the sheik from Fear I who is seeking revenge for Vic having sex with his only daughter. This story ends with Lux being kidnapped by Maddy and the sheik. KUB #22

I loved Fear 2 even better! This book started off with action then escalated from there. To me, Victor excelled in this second edition as we learned more about his past and his world. He's so interesting and his mysterious background makes for a sexy alluring, character. I found this psychotic male well-rounded even though he held up his dark wall of emotions. In this book we go on an adventure, involving murder and intrigue, plus an emotional ride as Lux struggles with her feelings. Secrets are exposed and unanswered questions are finally revealed. This book makes for an easy read and it may hit hard for some who struggle with love. A. Avant did a great job and I cannot wait to read Fear 3!

I enjoyed both books in the FEAR series so far and would have liked to have given this five stars. However, being English, I found the story just 'slightly' far fetched in a couple of places which made the read not as comfortable as I like.
That being said, there are some amazing characters in the sidelines just waiting for their chance to shine so I hope that Book 3 will be bringing them out a bit more. Lake was an interesting character and I wondered which way he was going to lean. He could go either way at the moment and I hope he has some presence in the next book as I would like to see more of his story.
ooooh, I see Book 3 is available. Bought it and now I'm off for some quality reading!

Better than fear1
What is up with all the cliffhangers? AMARIE did a great job with fear we read drama,suspense,action,and love. I truly wish authours would publish a 900 page novel allow me to pay $10_$15 so I don't have to wait months for the next installment and have to start over with the first book. sorry for that rant . But the cliffhanger is not enough to take one star from fear 2. We learn so much about Luxury's parents and the dukes path to becoming an man. We also see his love for lux put into action despite his hesitancy to speak it. Waiting on July.

so need I say more I was hooked from the start just as good as the first kept me so captivated that yea I screwed off work the first half day reading couldn't put down love the characters love and sexual attraction chemistry on point. action,, dominance and all this I could see being a movie can't wait for next install

WTH!!!!!!!!!'
I cannot believe this ended this way! I am so disgusted right now. I'm really ticked off! I need the third book like now! I don't think I can ever read another series without all the books being completed! This is what happens!!!!! I applaud this author, she has a bright future. So many questions that need answers.

Besides some of the spelling errors and Lux being annoying in the beginning, I loved it. Had me on the edge of my seat by the end of it. I didn't expect it to end that way. Can't wait for the next one to come out. I hate cliffhangers, lol.

This book defiantly pick up right where part 1 left off. I'm loving victor and lux. This book take you on a ride and I'm loving how the author draw in with customer. It was so many thing going on and it had to just the right amount. I can't wait to read part 3 because I know it going to be good.
