First, I'll read pretty much anything related to psilocybin, or any other psychedelic, especially to learn about possible medicinal purposes and research being performed. I should have known by the title of this book that it probably wasn't going to suit me. I mean, 'Magic Mushrooms' (I guess it's one step up from 'Shrooms')? I understand, this is what a lot of people choose to call them, but when putting together an informational piece of literature, why not use the title 'Psilocybin Mushrooms' to target a more serious reader? That would be like naming a book about marijuana or cannabis, 'Pot: The Truth xxxxx', or 'Weed: The Truth xxxxx'. If we want the subject matter to be taken seriously, then we need to use more responsible language. Even though the book was packed with various information, it was often loaded down with terminology and tended to go overboard, with not a lot of writing skill at all. I fought through the first chapter (that seemed like something generated from a computer), only to be disappointed by each chapter thereafter.

Clear concise

The book is a good, concise description of magic mushrooms. However, I feel that the prose is lacking and should be made more eloquent.
