Other than informing a museum professional what the various aspects of museum administration are and whetting the appetite to dive deeper into those topics, this textbook is COMPLETELY out of date with most of the statistics dated from the mid 90s when "the World Wide Web" and "Electronic Mail" were novelties. Some stats were taken from the 2000 census, but with the 2010 census data now available, someone PLEASE write a newer addition that is relevant to todays world.

This is my textbook for a class this fall. Yikes.

Sort of informative, but extremely dry and has a whiny undertone. Many things are common knowledge. Would have preferred more case studies.
