Rain
On a wild and stormy night, a rainbow lorikeet takes shelter on the balcony of a child's bedroom. He wishes he was dry and warm tucked up inside, just as a shooting star collides with a bolt of lightning and his wish is granted. When the children wake the next day and discover a little boy sleeping on their balcony, they are excited to meet a new friend!
Rain spends the day as a human and magically sees the world through the eyes of Olly, Pippy and Pearl. From bees and flowers, dolphins and beaches, and a hike through the rainforest which comes alive after an afternoon storm, Rain soon realises he misses his treetop home. Before he leaves, Rain asks a special promise of Olly;

the oceans and trees where their hearts beat.
Our wild home depends on children who grow
and remember the magic beneath their feet.’
