As part of a corruption-exposing network called The Forum, Mallory is far more at ease among the codes and hidden identities of her online world than she has ever been in the real one - but when other hackers suddenly begin to go missing, she finds herself caught up in a web of secrets that could have repercussions far beyond both...

I really enjoyed this story. It gave me similar vibes to movies like Hackers or the very beginning of Matrix. The main character, Mallory, even reminded me a bit of Lisbeth from the Millennium series. She has the same strength and is a genius.

The story is more serious than I expected, both when it comes to Mallory’s real life and her secret online life.

The mystery was done well. Maybe predictable at times and a bit far fetched since Mallory is a teenager, but I still found it very intriguing and suspenseful and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I love stories about super smart hackers who can do anything and, in that regard, this one gave me everything I wanted.

This is the last book I got from Book Depository, and is probably the one that had been sitting on my Wishlist the longest, so it will always have a special place in my book collection.

What an amazing book! I enjoyed reading this one very much. I haven't read anything really similar to this book and I was pleasantly surprised by it. If you are looking for something different definitely check this one out from the characters to the plot structure to the hacker element it's a great read!!

If you like me used to be a fan of Hackers and loved Digital Fortress, you are most likely to enjoy the hell out of Echoes.

Mallory Park aka Echo Six is a sixteen year old hacker by night and a young girl with a severe phobia of being touched by day. She battles through her fears every day she goes to school and has to interact with people. She wears gloves and does everything in the least noticeable manner so as not to stand out.

Her dad is an ex-Marine suffering from severe PTSD, her mother left, and Mallory is the one taking care of her father and younger brother Jed.

In a way, her life as a hacker is the one thing that lets her cope with all her stresses and anxieties. Cracking the codes, doing hacks on demand leaves her in control. She is one of the Elites, she is respected and even made into a moderator of the elusive Forum - an ever-changing community of very talented hackers who uncover the truth behind shady corporate practices and share it with the world.

When the admin of the Forum, The Asker, contacts Echo Six with an info that a few prominent hackers have disappeared, he asks her help with locating one of them, his friend and member of the Forum. Then The Asker goes under and Mallory is ready to break all the rules to find him, and to do that she enlists help of her only friend from the Forum, The Warden.

Soon her investigation spirals out of control. Both Echo Six and The Warden are just kids who get entangled in search of a major supervirus, rumoured to be able to change Internet as we know it, and Mallory's phobia doesn't help. Everything is out of control, and the dangers are suddenly very real and physical.

Mallory's style is almost militaristic in its structure, dryness and simplicity. Yet, it's completely believable. Her brain works very differently, and the reader is able to immerse themselves into its thinking process. I really, really liked her. She had all the traits of a kick ass heroine with a strong sense of justice, she was abrupt and paranoid and snarky.

On the other hand, Warden was adorable! A sweet, charming, nice guy, clumsy, nervous and funny, he was a perfect sidekick. They worked really well as a team.

The plot itself was solid. Yes, you could guess the villain way before it became obvious to the main characters, but that didn't diminish my pleasure from this book, which was intense, action packed and very visual. It showed, not told things in the most efficient way. I love authors with no-nonsense attitude, and Miss Tisdall had it in spades. Much recommended, and I'm looking forward to more of her books.

Mallory Park is a 16-year-old high school student during the day and a superior hacker (Echo Six) at night. Suffering from a severe phobia of being touched, she is much more comfortable in her own home in front of her computer.

Her father has his own problems with PTSD, her mother has left the family, and that leaves Mallory also taking care of her younger brother.

Being a hacker is the one thing that helps with her stress. She is one of the Elites, respected and even made into a moderator of the elusive Forum - an ever-changing community of very talented hackers who uncover the truth behind shady corporate practices and share it with the world.

But suddenly, hackers are going missing.

If you're only a teenager, even with good hacking skills, and those worries turn to physical dangers, who do you turn to ... who do you trust? After all .. what you see on a computer screen may not be who you think they are ....
Interesting concept ... that's what drew me to this one to begin with. I liked the characters. I really got involved and found myself whispering advice to Mallory as I was reading. Not being a techie myself, it was enjoyable watching how they manipulated the internet. Plenty of suspense to satisfy anyone who likes to feel edgy while reading.

My sincere thanks to the author, Laura Tisdall, who furnished a digital copy for an honest, unbiased review.

An exciting read with a very emotional tinge. . The writers story is around how a young girl, who struggles with society and the issues its poses, comes alive when she can hide behind a computer screen and hack into systems for the Forum and their leader The Asker. When members of the forum start going missing our heroine is drawn into her worst nightmare as she has to meet with the last member of the forum who hasn't disappeared and solve the mystery.

The beauty of this novel is it will touch a chord with whoever reads it as it will make you think about your own life and where you feel must comfortable. Your inner self will admire the heroine and how much she has to fight to overcome her fears, giving you a bit of strength to conquer yours.

The twists, turns and the air of mystery throughout the story makes for an interesting read.

Echoes follows the story of Mallory Park, a not-so-normal teenage girl who lives two lives.  In the day, she goes to school, does her homework, takes care of her brother and her father who suffers from PTSD and keeps to herself.  But come night and she is Echo Six, in a group called the "Forum,” where she hacks into organisations and corporate associations that do a lot of wrong things.  The creator of the forum, a hacker identified only as “The Asker” assigns various hacks to the different members of the Forum, and Echo Six, being an elite hacker, gets the most difficult hacks.  For the most part, Mallory manages to keep her two lives separate.  Until, of course, she doesn’t.

The book starts with Echo Six in the middle of a hack, and it has got to be one of the most thrilling beginnings ever!  It had absolutely no action whatsoever—only thrills—and yet it was more interesting to read than an actual hunting scene!  What I also really liked about the book was how accurately a teenage girl was portrayed.  Mallory may have been very different from normal teenagers—what its her being a mathematical genius and a very good hacker—but at the heart of her, she was just as unsure and insecure about herself as the rest of us girls were in our teenage.

Mallory Park is the reason you should pick up this book.  Her father is an ex-Marine who undergoes some sort of PTSD through the book, and it is heartbreaking to see that the teen in the book has to be the adult.  Not only that, but Mallory’s mother left the family a few years before the events of the book unfolded, and try as she may, Mallory still hasn’t gotten over that.  Then there’s her younger brother that she has to take care of.  The whole thing should feel like too much of a responsibility on a young girl, too many burdens on a very young shoulder—but Mallory handles everything with grace.  She does what she can, and sometimes even more to make sure that her dysfunctional family functions, even on the grassroots level.  This strength and courage is the reason I basically forgave Mallory any thing she could have done in the whole book.  She was troubled herself, but berated herself so much if she ever let her family down.  Family is important—it’s everything—and this book brings this out perfectly.

As Echo Six, Mallory is much more at ease.  At least until hackers from The Forum start to go missing.  Mallory tries her best to keep both parts of her life separate but one way or another, the two coincide and then everything goes up shit’s creak.  Mallory makes a friend along the way, whom I absolutely loved.  No spoilers, but seriously.  You have to read this person, and fall in love with them.  The book is written beautifully—there is not one dull moment in it.  It’s not a very long book by any standards, and Laura Tisdale’s writing left me completely entranced with all the characters in the book—the good and the bad.  If you’re looking for an introduction into the Cyber Thriller genre, definitely consider reading this book!

ACTUAL RATING BECAUSE GOODREADS DOESN'T DO HALF STARS: 3.5 STARS.

I don't know if it was because I am in a reading slump or if it's because I was simply extremely busy this past month, but it took me longer than I expected to finish this nearly 300 page book. Nonetheless, I still really enjoyed it. The plot seemed to take some time to grow but I really enjoyed the turn out and was so sure there was destined to be a second book because o much was going on and I wondered how on earth it could possibly wrap up neatly in such few pages but I'm pleasently surprised to say it did.

It's a really interesting book that made me really question if things like this actually happened at one point, if certain characters were real and made me totally afraid to actually google them ;D Thank you to the author for allowing me the opportunity to read the book, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be delving more into my thoughts in an upcoming video review :)

Echo Six is the online name of a sixteen year-old schoolgirl hacker. She is part of a forum who undertake hacks given to them by their leader, The Asker. She loves the challenge, but mainly loves the fact that the tasks they are given release information about wrong-doing. She feels the information she uncovers makes the world better. Then, hackers start to go offline. People are effectively disappearing but because of the nature of what they do, they have never divulged their real name, addresses or photographs to one another. The Asker finally request a meeting, to seek her help.

This is rather different from any of the other ‘hacker’ or ‘cybercrime’ books I’ve read. I really enjoyed the way she confronted her own issues and fears, fears for her family, and the black, white or grey nature of hacking. Neither she, nor the reader, knows who she can trust, and the story works up into a very exiting climax. If you enjoy speculative fiction of this style, you’ll be blown away by it. I found it a gripping and thrilling read and thoroughly recommend it.

Surprisingly enjoyable book. It's young adult fiction so there are a few areas of irritation to deal with: clumsy swearing, over-use of the word 'fricking' and generally drawn out more than it needs to be. Young adults like to examine their inner feelings it would seem. Also, Warden's speech and manner seem worrying close to the ginger guy in Harry Potter. Nevertheless, this is a good story with plenty of stuff going on in the background, too. I didn't see the plot turns a mile off and the characters were convincing. The end took too long to come. It should have finished about three chapters earlier. The tying up of loose ends seemed a bit of a chore and not entirely necessary; the reader could have filled in those gaps but I guess that's all about the audience it's aimed at, which isn't me.
Well thought out and well written and you don't have to be a computer whizz to follow technical stuff. I'm glad I read it.

This book was a different kind of book for me as i tend to stick more to fantasy kind of novels and this one is no where near a fantasy novel. I always have been intrigued by the world of coding and how people can figure out these puzzles and understand the codes within web pages to create or destroy things.

I really liked how the author was able to make Mallory feel like a real person, i really connected with her and warden ( think they be a cute couple) and i felt so much at the end of the book. I love how the author did not hold back any punches in how the final take down all played she really went it for with both barrels so to speak which made me really want to see what happens next. I know their more to this story their more to discover, more to read, more for echo six or is it echo seven now.

I was so surprised by this book.
I think I got it ages ago off amazon to just bring with me on holiday..aaand never got round to it.
I remember reading the first page and seeing the cliche like *hacker voice* "I'm in". So I set the book back down and decided to ignore it.
But it gets seriously, really good.
The characters were so complex and interesting in their own ways. There was so much depth to each one. I feel like I could sit here and write a long ass list on 'most' of the characters good and bad points.
The relationships too, were so built upon.
The book does lack knowledge around coding and hacking. But the author describes the hacks to feel so fast paced and exciting, I almost didn't care since I enjoyed the ride so much.
Overall, I loved this so much. I had this gem collecting dust on my bookshelf for a year and now its one of my favourites.

I first heard about Echoes when the author contacted me in regards to a review. The first chapter was sent with the email, and I hadn't even finished reading it and I knew it was something I HAD to read. Not only was a drawn into the story within the first few paragraphs, but I fell in love with the cover. I love how it portrays both sides of Mallory, with the fading effect of the code.

Going into Echoes I had an idea of what to expect, code, hacking, and some mystery. But there was so much more to the story itself. For starters, Mallory is not only a genius hacker, but she also holds herself responsible for looking after her Dad, and her brother after her Mum left them. She spends her days going to school, working, and caring for them, while her nights are for her computer. But Mallory also has to fight her fears every day. She has OCD, tapping out patterns, not liking touch or people invading her personal space, her gloves give her a sense of security and help her panic attacks. Seeing how this confident hacker can be so different when she is away from the computer really makes her appealing as a character. She isn't the obvious choice that you would pick out and say, yes she is a fighter, but she does make you pay attention.

In the Forum, Mallory is Echo Six, she keeps herself private, only really communicating with The Asker, the person in charge of the Forum. When The Asker confides in Echo Six about the missing hackers, and then goes missing himself, there is only one person Echo Six turns to. Warden, her friend, if you could call someone who knows nothing about you a friend, and is the only person who Echo Six has confided in about the situation, and one of the only people who she thinks can help her.

Echoes is a page turning debut book from Laura Tisdall, and I am so glad I gave this one a chance. I devoured every single word of this book, going on a journey with so many twists and turns I never saw the end coming. I love Mallory as a character. She isn't your typical heroine and has flaws, but this just makes it even more amazing that she does what she does. I really enjoyed seeing her come out of her shell, and slowly let her walls down, conquering her fears and opening up to someone. Warden was someone who was hard to imagine, until we get to see him, and although I don't think he was what I pictured, he definitely fit his personality, and gave me a few laughs. Seeing Mallory and Warden work together was some awe inspiring work, the hacking that they do is beyond belief, and they make a great team.

The ending of Echoes came too soon for me, but the last few chapters had me speechless when someone who I did not expect at all came in to fight for Mallory and Warden. This made me feel better about Mallory's current situation, and about her future too.

Final Verdict
Echoes is one hell of a debut, and I can't wait to see what else the author, Laura, has in store for us, whether it be a new book, or a new story for Mallory.

"...[her] icy blue eyes glued to the screen of the laptop, a single glow in the otherwise darkened room. Numbers and letters filter through her mind, faster than most people could read, let alone make sense of. The digits on the screen appear jumbled, random, but there is always a pattern, always a solution -- and she always finds it in the end."

Echoes is about Mallory Park, a teenage hacker well beyond her years. She is part of an elite group of hackers whose sole mission is to let the truth be heard, but when her colleagues start disappearing she's forcibly thrust in the middle to a great personal risk. Her real life personality and online personality are very different and she's forced to reconcile the difference.

Echoes is one of the best books I've year in 2015. Mallory is an incredibly complex character driven by the need to care for her family, held back by her fear of people touching her, and mistrust of others. Mallory grows as a character as the story progresses, but in the ends she's still very much the same characters at the beginning but with a few adjustments. Usually this doesn't work in a book because as a reader you always want to see a character grow and become someone different, someone stronger than before, but despite Mallory's flaws she's incredibly strong in her own non-tradional way.

The story is compelling and interesting from the first page to the last. The mystery had me guessing at every turn and every red herring. The mystery is complex and is inter woven in the real world and the online making it harder to disentangle the clues.
The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat for most of the book. The beginning 100 pages were slow, however I really enjoyed them. The beginning is a long introduction into Mallory as a character and the life she's living. The reader is saturated in all aspects of her life. From her school life to her home life and her online life, you really get a sense of her direction and what motivates her. From there the story picks up and the pacing in nonstop until the end. It's an unconventional thrill ride based in a mixture of the online world and the real world.

Overall, I really enjoyed Echoes. It's a fast paced read about a badass hacker who is relatable because of her everyday flaws. I would recommend this book to anyone who thinks they might enjoy it because you definitely will.

***I received the eBook free as a review copy from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review***

I absolutely loved this book! It is an exciting and thrilling fast-paced book.

This book revolves around the sixteen year old girl Mallory Park, also known as Echo Six on the hacker Forum. She lives with her troubled father and younger brother; she is the one who takes care of the family. Mallory has two lives pretty much, her risky hacker life, and her real life, where she has a phobia of being touched, goes to school and cares for her brother. Suddenly, some of the famous hackers start disappearing without a trace and Echo Six doesn't know who to trust anymore.

This was a really amazing book. It captivated me from the first page and is completely action-packed. I really liked how the plot worked itself out and how new problems arose every couple of pages. I thought that some of the plot twists were a bit predictable; however, this was still an amazing book which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It didn't matter to me that I could kind of predict the plot twist, it was still as exciting to read as if I didn't know.

The characters were very three dimensional. Mallory was really well written, she had a complex personality and the reader feels sympathy for her because she has to take care of her very complicated and broken family all by herself. She went through so much pain and suffering in the past and yet she is still willing to do anything to protect her father and her brother. She is also a genius, she makes several very hard decisions which I couldn't make. My favourite character was Warden however, he was awesome. He was really sweet, nice and talks a lot which is a really cool mix. Warden was always there for Mallory even though he didn't know her, he always tried to comfort her which is really nice of him. I found it also kind of adorable when Warden starts rambling on when he is in danger or nervous because it is really heartfelt. Whatever he says is heartfelt in that case.

This book was amazing and I wanted to just keep on reading. The ending was well-written, it felt satisfying and yet I wanted to know what would happen next. I really loved the writing as well, because it was captivating and every single part of this book was interesting. Overall, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!

I received this book for free from Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Three words: Hackers. Go. Missing.
I'm not talking baby hackers who have no clue what they're doing and slipped up badly – I'm talking top of the ladder ones.

Mallory Park is a hacker who moderates The Forum, a message board where hackers are anonymous, crack down on the dirty secrets of companies, and leak them out to the world anonymously. She's extremely motivated and passionate about her work, and likes to have control – she's independent, wants to do her own thing, and based on her background, it definitely fits her character. Mallory, however...

Just comes out cold. Apathetic. Indifferent. She doesn't really have any clue what to do with herself because hacking IS who she is. She is also extremely brilliant (I would love to have her math skills right now in Calculus...), hates being touched (much like me...), and is as awkward as David 1 and David 2 (one of them is a Physics major and the other is terrible with metaphors).

While I like Mallory, I think Mallory came more out of her shell when she meets Warden. Warden is very cheery, optimistic, and hilarious – he's really just one of those adorable nerds who would love to squish hug. And despite the fact he is introduced as Mallory's online friend from The Forum, I can hear his voice and see his facial expressions leaping off the screen at Mallory.

There's so much anticipation and danger (and Warden's humor laced throughout) as Mallory gets closer to finding out about the missing hackers, but in the long run, Echoes really just teaches about online safety in a similar, yet different way compared to other books related to online safety.

But you should really just read it for Warden's humor.

I have not read a book about hacking before but the synopsis grabbed me and I am so pleased that I was offered the chance to read and review it.

Laura Tisdall is a talented author, her words just flowed perfectly throughout the book, I couldn’t get enough of it.

Mallory was a young girl who put a brave front on her life with her brother, father and friends, although when she closed her bedroom door she managed to be herself by hacking various companies to try and do good.

Being a moderator of a grey-hat hacking forum she was Echo 6 and she was one of the best hackers on there.

She would do anything for The Asker, and she does when he disappears and tries to rescue him with another hacker called Warden. Things do not go as planned, she trusts The Asker but is all as it seems?

This was an amazing novel to read, just when you think you know what is going to happen next there is a twist and it shocks you.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes young adult novels who wants a change from the norm.

I read and review a lot of books and sometimes right after finishing one I think I shouldn't have given one of the previous books a high rating because this current book is ten times better. This is the case for this book. I have given out a lot of reviews lately that might have been too generous after reading this one which was sooooo great! This is a well written smart book full of suspense that will keep you reading! The plot is fast paced with solid writing and a well crafted backdrop. I loved all the high tech hacking aspects. The characters are some of my favorite characters I have read in a while. They all have distinct characteristics that I found realistic and likable. Mallory is going on my top ten favorite fiction female characters list because she is strong, smart, family oriented, and level headed!! I honestly believe this book will capture all readers with any favorite genre already set.

This was such a good book! I read it in two sittings (only because I started it in the evening), and it nearly killed me to put it down.

This was such a refreshing change of pace for the recent YA books I have read. Mallory is a fantastic MC that did not even once get on my nerves. That alone is an amazing feat for any author that writes YA. She wasn't whiny and she took responsibility for her own actions.

Even though I guessed who the big bad was, I didn't mark my review down for that. Because it's rare that I'm ever left surprised once I reach the big reveal.

I would recommend this book to anyone age 14+, because even though she isn't a typical teenager I think she would be very relatable to anyone. Read this book. ((And if you're English, there is a separate version for you, apparently!))

I really liked the concept to this book.
Mallory was a great character and I also liked Warden.
The writing was a little hard to get into at first for me.
I also would have liked the messaging to be done in an instant messenger format as it was hard to follow.
Other than that a great read for all computer mystery fans.

Echoes is a stunning page turning debut book from Laura Tisdall, and I am so glad my daughter gave me a nudge towards this one, not my usual genre at all.
I have devoured every single word of this book, going on this journey with so many twists and turns I never saw the end coming.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review

I don't think I ever read a Cyber Thriller before this one, but the blurb and cover caught my attention so I decided to give it a try. After reading this book I can say I am not sure if this is a genre for me, but I did enjoy the book and I am glad I read it. Echoes didn't fully grab me, it always felt like I was only half into the story and only after the big plot twist towards the end I felt like I was really sucked into the story and didn't want to stop reading.

Echoes is a very well written book and I especially like how the author handled Mallory mental/ emotional state. It really gave a feel for her as a person. I did have a bit of trouble with the third person perspective as I felt that with first person perspective it would've worked even better. It took me by surprise how much this book deals with mental illness, I didn't mind that and thought it was handled well But I expected a fast past mystery/ thriller book, so the amount of focus on mental issues took me by surprise and it was a bit too much because of that. There are multiple characters with anxiety issues, from which Mallory herself and some side character, her dad has PTSD and her mom has left them when they were young. It was just a bit overwhelming if you don't know that beforehand. I do think the author handled it well, showing how much they impacted their lives, but when it came to it, they could do things they really wanted to even though it was hard.

As I don't know a lot about the more technical details I did wonder a few times if the things that happened were possible. I did think the author knew enough about it to make it feel realistic. There were just a few scenes were I wondered if that was possible. It also deals a lot with online personalities, hacking and privacy. It wasn't downright scary, but it was a bit creepy and gave me an uncomfortable feeling at times. There are some scenes that really made me wonder about online privacy and seeing how they could hack into almost everything was a bit scary.

The first few chapters are a bit slow, until the plot with the missing jackers start, that's when the pace improves and the story get's more interesting. Then later on there's this huge plot twists that took me by surprise and was very well done. And after that I was really hooked, which are only the last 25% or so, but that was my favourite part of the book.

This book has a great cast of characters, what I liked is how it deals with shades of grey. No one is really bad or good, but different shades of grey. It deals a lot with hacking, which technically is illegal, but they do sort of good things with it. Then there are some characters who believe in something and while I did agree with Mallory that it was bad and not a good idea, i could sort of see how much they believed in it and how they saw it as something good. It was very well done.

I had some trouble connecting to Mallory at first, she keeps her distance from everyone and it a bit cold or harsh at times. She has a lot on her shoulders and I felt sorry for her, she also deals with some serious anxiety issues and hacking is something she understand and is good at. Then there are other hackers she meets online, for whom we get a feel as well. Then there is her little brother, who was a fun character. He's a great kid who always listens for Mallory and there is this scene at the end where he helps her and it was just the sweetest thing. Her dad has PTSD and is broken, he has a job, but sometimes he forgets things or he blinks out and isn't there. It was hard to see and how Mallory and her brother dealt with it. Then towards the end something happens, that made me like him, it's a very powerful scene.

The romance might have been my favourite part of this book. There isn't a lot of romance, just small hints sprinkled throughout. It's more a friendship/ deep trust slowly developing into more and it was so well done. So realistic and believable and slow and awkward and I feel like the author pretty much nailed the feel of teenage romance and I loved that! Especially the scene at the end in the dark room, it made me feel so much. Having said that, the romance is a really minor plot, the story and action takes center stage, so don't expect a book filled with romance, but I thought the romance that was there was very well done.

To summarize: echoes was my first try at the Cyber Thriller genre and while I am not sure if it's really a genre for me I did really enjoy this book. The online scenes and the hacking could be a bit scary at times, it made me realize how vulnerable things can be. I did wonder sometimes whether things that happened where really possible. The book is very well written and deals with a few mental illnesses as well. I thought the author dealt with the issues well. The last 25% was probably my favourite part of the book because of what happens then. The first few chapters were a bit slow, but as soon as the plot with the missing hackers start it get's more interesting. The characters were done well, although I had a hard time connecting to them at first I started liking them more as the book progresses. I also liked how this book deals with shades of gray, no character is really bad or good, but they all have their reasons for doing things. the romance is a very minor plot, but it's probably my favourite part of the book, it was so well done, so realistic and awkward. I liked how it wasn't the focus and developed naturally, but I also wouldn't have minded a bit more focus on the romance. There were some really touching scenes towards the end and I liked the last part of the book enough to give this book a 4 star rating.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! It's exactly my kind of read: a cool, smart concept, lots of twists & surprises & intense emotions along the way, and most of all, complex & flawed & utterly irresistible characters. Echo Six and Warden are terrific, and I couldn't help but root for them from the start. The ending was perfect & very satisfying, but I'd totally read a sequel if there was one, just to hang out with this pair again. (Is there going to be a sequel?? Please?)

This book was so fast paced! It kept me on my toes ready to turn the page, I never wanted to put it down! (Obviously school kept getting in my way ugh)

I did have some issues but overall I would say a good read!

There will be a more in depth (spoiler free) review on my channel next week

This story takes you into the world of hackers. A clever girl is the focus in this story. With her mad hacker skills, she is sought out to be more than a recluse in front of her laptop.

Then, an adventure begins that takes her out of her safe zone to solve a mystery which transforms her into a kind of superhero status (to me).

This book was longer than it needed to be, also I'm pretty sure most readers understood how Echo felt about being touched etc, it didn't need constant repeating and pages and pages of description every time it happened and most action in the book was drawn out longer than it needed to be. Besides that it was an enjoyable read.

Wow! Just wow. This book was so incredibly unique - whether that statement be based on the quirky characters or the completely out-there, intense plot-line. I was so unprepared for this.
