Claire writes crime/mystery, fantasy, and sci-fi, not necessarily in that order. She is a member of Sisters in Crime (& president of the Desert Sleuths Chapter), Mystery Writers of America, and the Short Mystery Fiction Society. Claire transplanted from New England to Phoenix where she writes full-time, paints, and lives on a steady diet of Zoominars for connection, inspiration, and sanity.
She hosts 2 weekly “Zoominar” write-in sessions for aspiring and experienced writers as well as write-ins for Sisters in Crime Worldwide and writes book reviews for Kings River Life Magazine.
Her short stories are in more than a half dozen anthologies and online magazines. Play the Hand You're Dealt, her short story collection, includes several stories that earned honors in various competitions.
