Outlaws of the Pacific Northwest

Rate this book
The lawlessness of the frontier towns of the plains states is well documented.  However, as silver and gold deposits were found in the Pacific Northwest, the rush of miners and speculators that brought to the region brought with it its own share of crime and criminals.  Author Bill Gulick sticks to the facts in telling the stories of this region but does so in swift conversational prose that entertains and educates.

A very good read with a lot of stories about Montana also. There is a lot about the darker side of the Pacific Northwest. A great read if you're a history lover

I am on page 2x and this book is so full of racist statements and stereotypes I can read no further. Freedom of speech I agree with but I don't have to read or listen!
