Grease and Grovel: A High Angst Secret Baby MC Romance

He wants me back. He doesn't know there are two of us now.

Tate Hodges makes my coffee every morning before he leaves for the shop. He puts the chains on my tires without being asked. He'll talk your ear off about a carburetor, but ask him where we're going, and he goes quiet.

I've been his old lady for six years. I quit asking a while ago.

Then I find a cocktail napkin in the back pocket of his jeans. Red lipstick. Round, girly handwriting. Thursday. Same place as always.

So I put him out, and I change the locks.

What I don't tell him, or anybody, is what I find out next, alone in the bathroom at work on my lunch break. Two pink lines.

Tate won't go away. He parks in my driveway every night and sits on his tailgate in the cold. He fixes my porch rail. He hands his motorcycle keys to my brother in front of the whole club and rides on the back of another man's bike through the middle of town. Everybody in the Powder River MC knows what he did, and every one of them is waiting to see if he means it.

He says he'll tell me all of it, even the parts that make him look worst.

But I'm keeping something too, and it's getting harder to hide every week.

Grease and Grovel is Book 1 of His Old Powder River MC, a high-angst second chance romance with a hero who cheated and grovels hard, a secret baby, a small Wyoming town where everybody knows your business, and a guaranteed happily ever after. The cheating happens before the book begins and is never shown on the page. Contains explicit scenes.

This was pretty good for a cheating/grovel book. At least the h got angry. Some of these fmc’s just stoically leave and that’s not satisfying or realistic at all. One BIG problem I have with Tate’s redemption arc is that the infidelity still doesn’t make sense to me. And his ensuing 180, once he’s caught, is hard to believe. He does everything right, after he’s found out, but it seems like he would have kept going if not for Hailey finding that note. His reason in the end, that he finally reveals, that the author built up to…doesn’t make sense.

Just another cheater

Spoilers

Poor cora knew he had a wife but kept sleeping with him and we are to feel soory for her, nope.

He even said he would of keep cheating if didn't get caught. He even said he only did things for her because of the so called guilt of his cheating. He felt no guilt, lets e honest.

She was weak to take him back, just a great role model for kids
