The Seventh Dimension Award-Winning Series continues in "The Castle." Haunted by a recurring dream of his missing father in a mysterious castle, 17-year-old Daniel is captured by the Romans and finds asylum in the temple. There he discovers a scroll that he can't open and wonders if it's linked to the trial and crucifixion of Yeshua. The convergence of time with supernatural events creates a suspenseful ending where things aren't as they appear.

The Castle, book three in the Seventh Dimension Series, by Lorilyn Roberts, is a fascinating book which immerses the reader into life during the time of Christ. Daniel has been trapped in the seventh dimension for years now. When he first found himself trapped in time, living in 1st century Israel he was just seventeen years old. Now he's a man and he has gotten himself into serious trouble. Accused of being a runaway slave, a thief and a murderer, the Romans are on the lookout for him. It doesn't help that he's easily recognized for being the greatest Jewish charioteer in the world.
Author Lorilyn Roberts portrays the characters and scenes in this book with such depth and clarity that one can nearly feel the dust on their feet as they travel along the streets of Jerusalem alongside Daniel. Seeing this world through Daniel's eye's is an enlightening way to experience life from a Jewish perspective during one of the most pivotal times in the history of mankind. The Castle is highly recommended and has earned the Literary Classics Seal of Approval.
This was a hard book to read Jesus death has always been hard for me to read and watch in Movies but Lorilyn made it so heart warming and to get to go through it with Daniel was wonderful
What would it be like to live through the week of Jesus' crucifixion?
Still wrestling with the knowledge that Jesus is no ordinary man, while simultaneously remembering that Jewish teachers have for years denied any possibility that Jesus might be their long awaited Messiah, Daniel lives through the final week of Jesus life...and sees him resurrected. If seeing is believing, why are so many still unable to believe? And yet, how can you continue to deny what you see? As Daniel struggles to believe, particularly when Shale found it so much easier, I found myself wrestling with why those I love can't see what I see. I also found hope in Lorilyn's portrayal of a God who doesn't give up and fights on behalf of his people.
This series just keeps getting better the further I read!
Daniel, the Gladiator is on a path in an alternate universe to fight evil and maintain his Jewish faith in God. Along the way, he witnesses cruelty and temptations as he participates in event that led up the crucifixion of Yeshua and the arrival of Jews at Auschwitz. This story reflects the various paths taken to the Promised Land. The plot moved along with minimal disruptions from time travel switches.
