A clean historical western cowboy romance novel . Echo Canyon Brides: Book 3
Billy and Nina meet unexpectedly while returning to Echo Canyon. While on their adventure, they fall in love and wind up getting married. Will their love keep burning bright or will it go up in an inferno and die?
Billy Two Moons has always been a young man caught between two worlds and belonged in neither. At least he felt that way until friends taught him differently and he finally has learned to fully embrace his heritage. After many years feeling estranged he is instead now working on finding a life that is fulfilling as well as filled with the joy of love from a woman he never dreamed he would meet.
Linda Bridey is one of my go to authors for a guaranteed good book. This is my 3rd time to reread this series Echo Canyon Brides. I come back to this series anytime I need a uplifting good book. Echo Canyon Brides will tug at your heart strings. It has action, live, and some whimsical comedy thrown in. I have never laughed so hard and cried so hard. Linda Bridey makes the characters believable even some of the not so believable characters, she makes you fall in love with them all even the evil ones if that is possible. I promise you , you will not regret reading this series! I highly recommend the series, but I do advise to read them in order, in order not to spoil the surprises down the road.
I mostly listened to this book on Audible. The narration was enjoyable so it did not distract from the book. This review may be considered **spoilers** so read on at your own risk. I enjoyed Billy’s story although I thought there was some of the story left undeveloped — like more of Nina’s back story. Maybe her capture could have been a bad dream or something, it just leaves the read wanting more of her story. I wasn’t impressed with how quickly Lucky’s story with his wife was “wrapped up” either. But maybe there will be more later. I just felt that I spent 2 1/2 books hearing about his wife and then “bam” she’s out of his life. The ongoing “bad guy saga” is driving me crazy — I don’t like that it’s taking multiple books to develop and get on with it. I’ve fallen for “Echo Canyon” though and will keep reading. And for the record— of all the little towns in Colorado, why would the author pick “Hayden” for this group to spend the night in? I happen to live in Hayden and was amazed to hear it in a book!
What an adventure this has been. Actually this story really shows that when one door closes, another opens - over and over again and I just loved this. Will it be Callie or Nina that Billy settles down with? And will Lucky be successful in getting his wife and child back? To find this out, you will have to read this book or listen to the audio version of it. But seriously, this story is filled with lots of adventure, intrigue, love and the support of family and good friends and I loved this too. You also meet up with old and new friends as well as the 'Terrible Twins from Echo Canyon and all the new doings in their lives. Lots of unexpected twists and turns go into making this a gripping book. Linda Bridey and Lawrence Yaklin have come together to produce another masterpiece. You would do well to read or listen to it. I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author in exchange for an unbiased review.
I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobooks of this series.
I have to acknowledge the very comical and realistic characters portrayed by the narrator, through the voice characteristics of each person encountered. It adds so much to the an already charming collection of stories.
Book 3 Montana Adventure
Again we see an advertisement placed for a would be bride, this time for Billy, the artist and part owner in the sheep farm. However, Billy is called on an urgent errand, with Lucky, before his potential bride arrives. Drama and emotional rollercoaster ensues, as their errand turns out differently to what they expected. Meanwhile, Shadow falls to the studious tracking of the sheriff, who reacts differently to what you would expect. Overall an engaging yarn, that shares the emotional feelings of those that call Echo Valley home.
This review is for 1-3 in the series. I must say that I had read the authors Montana Mail Order bride series and fell in love with it. I was bummed when I reached the end and decided to give another of her series a shot. I must also say if I had just read book 1 in this series I would not have read the other ones and missed out. I don’t know if I didn’t like book 1 because I kept comparing it to the previous series or what.... These are different from the other series because while they might have a slightly more prominent couple it is actually about many different people. I loved books 2 and 3 in this series a great deal. I’m glad that I gave this a shot. I cannot wait to finish this new series.
When a child is raise in a completely different culture, feeling no belonging anywhere.

This is the third book in the Echo Canyon Brides series. Maybe because this is the third one I have read in a row I found that I was kind of done with this little town. I think if you just read this book you would like it I just found my mind wandering and having to pull it back to the book. Still a fun romance set in a cowboy town.
Wasn't sure I would like these books but I'm loving them. Shadow is becoming my favorite character, even starting to like Marvin. Can't wait to start book 4 to see what happens with Lucky, he deserves love.
Loved this story. Just couldn't put it down. I was hooked from the beginning. Great flow, wonderful characters and settings. Even the sub-plots were enthralling. Can't wait to read the next installment.
I love mail order brides, I've read all of this series so far and have several more that I haven't read yet,am anches to read the next ones. Really love your books, please keep up the great work, and I'Ll keep buying them.
Amazing and intriguing drama! This series is the Echo Canyon Brides continues to evolve into a classic example of western romance filled with moments of suspense, drama and unforgettable inspirational messages .
Just as with all other of her series, I am thoroughly enjoying these. Each story is unique but the characters flow seamlessly from one book to the next *which is the way I like it*. Thanks Ms. Bridey for another many hours of reading enjoyment.
I really enjoyed this series! The characters were fun and I enjoyed her to know them. I loved the storyline, having the extra storyline of Marvin and Shadow was wonderful!
I loved reading this story as it brought forth what hardships some people faced during this time period. What they experienced was hard but beautiful at the same time.
These stories seem to be getting a bit more naive and simple every time, but they are entertaining, with a good narration style and likeable characters.
This is mainly Billy's story, but the discovery of Shadow was fun too. The dilemma of Nina in the picture was intriguing to see how Billy would deal with her. Linda, I really love your stories. This series is different, but definitely as enjoyable as your Westward series.
I just don't think you can lose with Ms. Bridey. I loved this story. I love how Billy has changed, love the character of Nina, loved that Lucky got some closure, and just love revisiting many of the other characters of Echo.
I am looking forward to the next book. Hurry hurry Ms. Bridey!
Linda you have done it again, I love that Billy found someone to love him, I felt so sorry for Lucky at least he has his son to love. I loved how you turned bad guys into good guys. I hope there will be more coming from Echo Canyon.
I loved the story. Having read the first 2 books I knew I would like this one to. Knowing the people in the books already help you enjoy the books more. Can't wait for the next one. Would recommend to anyone who likes romance and a good clean story.
I love this series and this book was a great addition to the other books. I love Linda's series. The continuity in the books is so good and I enjoy reading along and characters from other books are in the story.
I chose this book because it was very good reading and it's a series of the Echo Canyon series and I love these books. I can't say anything bad about this book, and I am looking forward to the next book to read. Linda Bridey is a wonderful author.
This is a awesome book. Keeps you waiting to see what's next. It was sad when Lucky's wife told him she had remarried. Billy was suspose to meet Callie and fell in love with Nina.
