Catch Me, Trouble

Sean Dempsey can flirt with anyone.
Mason Cole is the first man who makes him mean it.

Sean has made an art form out of being impossible to take seriously.
He’s loud, shamelessly flirtatious, ridiculously well dressed, and the man behind some of the rugby club’s biggest viral moments. Between his fashion career, his following, and a permanent grin designed to keep everyone at arm’s length, Sean’s life is exactly how he likes it.
Fun. Fast. Uncomplicated.
Then there’s Mason Cole.
Twenty-three. Yorkshire-born. Devastatingly handsome. One of the fastest wingers in the league.
And completely unimpressed by Sean’s usual games.
Sean has spent months flirting with him. Mason has spent months pretending it doesn’t affect him.
Until Sean finally asks him out.
Mason’s answer?

He doesn’t do casual with people he actually likes.

Suddenly, the joke isn’t funny anymore.
A sponsor campaign throws them together. A real date becomes a first kiss. One hotel room becomes one bed. And somewhere between stolen moments, jealous glances and nights neither of them can pretend mean nothing, Sean realises he’s done the one thing he’s spent his entire life avoiding.
He’s fallen in love.
But Mason is on the edge of the biggest opportunity of his rugby career—and he isn’t ready for the entire world to know who he loves.
Sean understands keeping things private.
What he doesn’t know how to handle is wanting something badly enough to lose it.
Because Mason refuses to be somebody’s secret joke, temporary obsession or almost-boyfriend.
And for once, Sean Dempsey might have to stop running, drop the smile, and tell the truth.
Even if it terrifies him.

Catch Me, Trouble is a spicy M/M rugby romance packed with sharp banter, secret dating, forced proximity, one bed, jealous moments, found family, emotional vulnerability, and a shameless flirt who discovers that falling in love is a lot harder than flirting with it.
He calls everyone babe.
Only one man calls him Trouble.

Lovely story

I am in 2 minds with this book. The story was lovely. The characters are sweet and I enjoyed it. But the writing wasn't the best. Mason's calloused hands, Yorkshire drawl and 6.1 frame is mentioned every 5 minutes. It gets a bit frustrating but I did enjoy the story. Low spice with a focus on the emotional connection between chat ter.
