There’s quite a bit to wrestle with here as a Baptist. Perhaps the biggest thing to think through is Strawbridge’s argument that New Covenant children of believers possess the same covenant status as children of believers under the Old Covenant. As part of this argument, he argues that Ephesians 6:1-4 and Deuteronomy 6:4-7 are parallel texts that give covenantal, not evangelistic, responsibilities to parents which is not an argument I had heard before.

Il ne convaincra pas des endurcis, mais c'est un bon premier contact avec la question: "pourquoi baptisez vous les enfants?"
