Thank you Ben Lerner for getting me to finally read William Bronk (who had always had a whiff of 'minor' poet about him - which should have attracted, rather than deterred)
Reminiscent of Antonio Porchia, Roberto Juarroz, James Tate, (even E.M. Cioran) these stripped down, deceptively accessible poems are among the best I've read since I was being introduced to Wallace Stevens and Pablo Neruda two decades ago. I absolutely LOVED this book.
