Before Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez sold out arenas. Before Christina Aguilera won five Grammys. Before Ryan Gosling earned three Oscar nominations. Before Keri Russell earned eight Emmy nominations. Before Britney Spears became a global icon. They were all Mouseketeers.

They met as teenagers on a soundstage at Walt Disney World, where their talents were nurtured, and lifelong bonds were formed. Then they went on to help change the face of popular culture.

The Club also launched the careers Nikki DeLoach (Hallmark Channel), Tony Lucca (NBC's The Voice), Rhona Bennett (formerly of En Vogue), Chasen Hampton (lead singer of Close Enemies), Dale Godboldo (The People v. O.J. Simpson), Deedee Magno Hall (Steven Universe), Raquel Herring (BET's POV) Marc Worden (Voice of Iron Man), Ricky Luna (Grammy-winning producer), Matt Morris (Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter), accomplished music producer David Kater, veteran stage actors Jennifer McGill and Lindsey Alley, and many more across Broadway, film, television, music, and beyond. All 38 cast members have a story. This book tells them all.

Always in the Club is the complete, first-ever oral history of the All-New Mickey Mouse Club, told across seven seasons by more than 60 of the people who were actually there. Drawn from original interviews with cast, crew, and former network executives, and enhanced with hundreds of rarely seen photographs from their personal collections, this is the full story of how a children's variety show quietly became one of the most consequential talent incubators in entertainment history, and a blueprint for everything the Disney Channel became.

Every print copy includes access to the MMC'89 Limited Edition Master Digital Archive, a digital vault holding the full-color Limited Edition ebook with 200+ pages of extra material, plus hours of video. Inside you'll
- ePUB files for e-readers
- High-resolution PDF with hundreds of photos
- Complete 7-season episode guide
- Fan-submitted memories
- The Party's 30th Anniversary Reunion Concert docu-film (House of Blues Orlando)
- Tony Lucca Live, featuring Jennifer McGill

- All enhanced by a continuing series of digital releases.

Welcome to the Club
For the fans who rushed home after school to watch their premium-cable treasure. For the millions who discovered these performers later, never knowing they shared an origin. For Disney and pop culture enthusiasts, and for educators and entertainment industry historians curious about the creative and business decisions behind television's unlikeliest star machine.

And for anyone interested in how a single television show helped reshape an entire industry's approach to developing young creatives, building the system that would later launch Disney Channel stars like Zendaya, Selena Gomez, Olivia Rodrigo, the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Raven-Symoné, and Jenna Ortega.

This is the story of where it all began.

Always in the Club is an independently produced work of entertainment journalism and oral history. Not affiliated with or endorsed by The Walt Disney Company.

This book has brought back so many memories of my childhood. It's packed full of behind the scenes information that I never knew, and gives me a whole new appreciation for all the work that went into making such an incredible show. The book is beautifully done with tons of photos from every season. It's the perfect coffee table addition. I recommend this for any fan of the MMC show.
