Just when he thinks his trauma is done making him spiral...
I worked hard to make sure my trauma doesn't define me. I have amazing husbands, a great family, a good career, and recently, I've even become the cool uncle.
I love my life, and surprisingly, I love my nephews even more.
But a couple of stupid mistakes make me spiral. And I spiral hard.
I've tried my entire life to be nothing like my mother and the place I came from. But now, I can't help but wonder if the apple really didn't far all that far from the rotten tree.
Did I ever really overcome my trauma, or did I just smother it until it was forced to come back up for air?
**It is NECESSARY to read Nerdy Boy before reading this book, and it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to also have read Give Me Three and Tattoo My Life to better understand the side characters.
West Greene is a romance author that specializes in short, steamy books and erotic shorts.
All your instalove needs can be found in one of her books, whether you're looking for possessive men, men with no morals, spicy FF romance, a boy just needing his Daddy, a twink just needing love, or even the other woman to get her HEA.
West Greene refuses to be stuck in one trope or type of romance. She loves variety, and she's definitely going to share that variety with her readers.
Short but needed. I realized I needed more of these 3 the moment I finished Nerdy Boy. And tbh I don't think I will ever stop needing more of them.
Give me Logan, Spencer and Ezra ( with a side of Jaxon ) and I'm perfect.
Oh, and I cried. Yup, I somehow managed to cry twice reading this short. But I LOVE them, and I get emotional whenever I think about them or I read about them.
5 stars I really really hope that West Greene will never stop writing about these men. I'm obviously very grateful that she chose to write this story but, honestly, I can't get enough!
Logan is the perfect example that healing from trauma is a neverending journey: what he endured as a child and as a teenager was so hurtful that affected him very deeply. But that doesn't mean he can't be happy, it just means that he has to keep working hard on himself and let the people he loves be there for him, helping him carry the pain.
Ezra and Spencer are amazing, their love for Logan is bigger than all the hurt and the bad memories. But I believe that his person will always be Jaxon: he showed Logan how strong a father's love is, how supportive, powerful and reliable.
I love all the trouples in this series, but the relationship between Jaxon and Logan will always have a piece of my heart.
