Ambitious Deception was so entertaining! It kept me on the edge of my seat and my eyes glued to the pages. I had to keep reading to find out more!

Wow, this book kind of turns thing upside down for me. I still loved it a lot but so many changes from what I expected from a short book. I still couldn't put it down and will now have to read book 4! *This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.*

Ambitious Deception is Book Three in the Ambition Serial of Kassandra Klay! This is the book we have all been waiting for!! Who gets the promotion? Will it be Alex (who totally deserves it) or the stalker Nick?! This is a DRAMA and emotion filled packed book!! You wont want to put down!!
I absolutely love how Kassandra named her real life bestie Charity in the book as Alex’s bestie! That was awesome of her to do!! Charity must have been so honored!!
As each book leaves you with a cliffhanger this book starts off with drama!! But with this drama we get an inside look at both Alex’s and Kreeds family and life.

Ambitious Deception is the third installments of Kassandra Klay’s Ambition serial.
I am still intrigued by the story line and interested in the main characters; however, I find the serial format tiresome. The story, which started out strong for me, is getting bogged down by the filler needed for the serial format.
Ambitious Deception introduces Talon Claymore, Alexandria’s past love interest and Kreed’s nemesis. Talon provides an interesting twist that will bring more depth to the story as the serial continues. His inclusion in the story also provides a much needed explanation for Nick Adler’s crass and aggressive behavior in the first two installments.
As the serial continues, the story is now told from the perspectives of Alexandria, Kreed, and Talon. I love how this provides the reader with insight into the motivations of all the players. While I’m still interested in the storyline, I think the pace is adversely impacted by the serial format. I would be much more interested in completing the story if it were edited and republished as a standalone novel.

Told from three first person perspectives (Alexandria, Kreed and Talon) AMBITIOUS DECEPTION begins to build upon the events that found our heroine without a job. Worries about the workplace harassment, and her affair with the boss have come to fruition and our heroine is forced to bare the brunt of the blame. Victimized, once again, Alexandria walks away without a second glance. A long-awaited vacation finds our heroine face to face with her past, a past that wants something more than she is able to give-a continuing story of deception and revenge.
We are introduced to Alexandria’s former boyfriend Talon Claymore, a man in direct competition to Kreed Kerrington, including his desire for our story line heroine.
In all fairness, it is difficult to review a serialized story line (a full-length story divided into smaller instalments ). The writing style rarely changes due in part to the fact that a serialized story is a full-length story divided into smaller instalments; the world building usually continues at the same pace until something important violates the calm, therefore the only real changes occur with the unfolding of the story line events and the possible growth of the main characters which are revealed as the story moves along. A review with the final instalment is what will be necessary to acknowledge a complete breakdown of the serial with reference to emotional depth, pacing, concept and engagement, as well as grammar, editing and errors.

In book 3 things get heated and not in a good, sexy way. That dag gone Nick sure knows how to ruin a wet dream. After being beat out by Alex for the promotion, this nut job attacks her in the elevator. Luckily, security is watching and alerts Kreed.
Then my homey Kreed, who I fell for in book 2, turns into a butt hole. I was shocked to say the least. I mean my jaw is still laying on the coffee table. I can't believe what goes down in his office.
My girl Alex has enough and takes off running. She ran as far as Florida. Well guess who is waiting for her? That's right, stalker Nick is back and he's brought a little friend with him. Meanwhile, Kreed realizes that he was wrong and goes on a mission to find Alex and get her back.
Now I am stuck waiting to find out what happens next! That's the thing with serials. You have to wait for the next installment, but doesn't the author know I hate waiting? Lol Anyway, I think the next book is due out this month. So I wait...

This was my favorite one of the Series so far because I was totally blown away! I know I was new to reading Kassandra’s books but because I got to read all of them in one sitting, I could see the progression in each book. Not only did she give us a cliffhanger again, but she totally through me for a loop!
The book ends in Amelia Island and it’s so strange because we just visited there. I loved being able to picture the place it was actually taking place in.
Although I do think that Kreed messes up in this book, I do think Alex was a tad ridiculous. There was some contradiction from Charity but otherwise you know she only wants the best for her friend.
This book has tons of action and I cant wait for book 4 to come out.
If you want a quick, fun but action filled series you should definitely read this.

Hahahaha the suspense depends. Everything explodes in this segment and now with the fallout both Kreed and Alex are left dangling and reeling from the fallout. And it isn't what you think. I had such high hopes for these two but well that's insta love for you. I was enjoying this serial thing til I had to be patient and wait for the next one. Each one is good and picks up right where it left off. The excitement hasn't weened nor has the suspense. I can't wait to see what happens next as the plot thickens. Great read and loving the characters, it would seem they are all flawed in some way.

This is book three of the series and one I couldn’t wait to read. Kreed and Alex go through a hiccup because of the whole Nick issue and Kreed realizes he screwed up. What left me reeling was the fact that Nick is part of a bigger issue. One I won’t disclose. The Ambition series is by far one of my favorite. Each book is short, sweet and sexy. They leave you wanting more and the Author doesn’t disappoint.

I love how this story keeps progressing. Without giving away too much, there's drama and a bit more intrigue in Deception, the third installment of the Ambitious serial. Not to mention a good little twist just before the end. Excited to see how Alex and Kreed contend with the new development in book #4.

Ok you guys this series is getting GOOD! The twists and turns have me flipping pages faster than ever. You will be on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next - while at the same time you want the story to slow down to experience more of the charming and sexy Kreed. I’m anxiously awaiting #4 in the series!!!!
