Guilty

A powerful Contemporary Romance. Here is the first book in the ‘Guilty’ Series by Lucia Jordan, written in her signature style of high passion and emotion. Rachel has the urge to be bad—very, very bad—and Jesse James is just the one to show her how. Rachel Brown’s life is perfect just the way it is. Sure, she doesn’t have a boyfriend or a social life, but she has a routine and that is all that matters. Rachel’s loud and rather exuberant roommate, Layla, often comments on how boring Rachel’s life is, but Rachel doesn’t see it that way. At least, she didn’t until the night Jesse James walked into her Laundromat, and her life. Yeah, she thinks the name is absurd and his parents had a very cruel sense of humor. But the dark and simmering look in his eyes makes her body hum with excitement from the moment she first sees him. This Jesse James is not from the old west – he is dangerously seductive and irresistibly tempting. Suddenly, the safe little bubble that Rachel has built around herself bursts as she throws all caution to the wind. But is Jesse more trouble than she can handle? Only mature readers should download this book.

Since releasing her first romance book in 2012, Lucia Jordan has done more than just write stories. She has helped define a genre. As a pioneer of the digital romance revolution, Lucia has penned hundreds of sizzling titles, delighted millions of readers, and earned thousands of five-star reviews. Her ability to blend emotional depth with uninhibited passion has made her a household name, with her hit novel Rock Hard earning a coveted nod as the #1 must-read erotic novel by Women's Health magazine.

But Lucia’s passion extends beyond the page. As the creative force and founding author behind Wild Hearts Romance, she is a champion for the indie community, dedicated to lifting up new voices in a genre she calls powerful, valid, and necessary. She writes for the dreamers and the risk-takers to craft stories that leave nothing to the imagination and remind us all that everyone deserves a happily-ever-after.

When she isn’t fantasizing about her next spicy scene or advocating for fellow writers, Lucia can be found in her sanctuary, a cozy garden gazebo in the Pacific Northwest. It is here that she retreats with her literary trio of cats, Ursula, Colette, and Daphne, to let her imagination wander. With a cup of tea in hand, she dreams up the sizzling plotlines and unforgettable adventures that have made her a bestseller.

Very basic storyline, that I cannot remember know to write a review. It's only 40 something pages. IF you are looking for story and plot with romance or whatever, this is not the book. But it was well written.

Loved the storyline, but too short.

Debated on a 3 or 4 for the rating. I felt like I was left hanging. The book was short, but now I want to go read the next in the series.

Comfort Zone

All her life she did things by the book. She had structured her life into a pattern where nothing was left to chance. Then she met him one nite while doing her wash. He was dangerous. Not the kind of guy you hung out with. He made you want to take a ride on the wild side.

Fast paced wow

Loved this story, the rutted Rachel going about her life, doing her scheduled right as rain when the unexpected meeting happened. Jesse James was definitely not in her schedule. Great fast read, cliffhanger ending make you want to jump into the next book.

Loved this book and can not wait to read the rest of the series. Rachel found her one bad biker to hang out with. When she got out of her routine she really went all in. Jesse James is a total bad boy biker, that the hots for Rachel.

Jesse James and Rachel, meets at the laundry room one week and can't forget each other. Will one night be enough or will one night be the end for Rachel and Jesse?
