“Recommended for readers of redemption stories.” –Library Journal.
In book eight of the Rain series, Vanessa Miller brings back all the main characters.....Isaac and Nina, Kenneth and Elizabeth and Keith and Cynda! I knew this was going to be an exciting ride. All three couples are still active in their fight to get the Word of God out and the enemy is still trying to stop them. I love how Ms. Miller infuses her spiritual imagination with scripture throughout the story taking the reader on a thrilling adventure. As with the other books in the series, I was mesmerized from start to finish. I am looking forward to next book, although I do not want this series to end!
Vanessa Miller many kudos on yet another great book and thanks for once again delivering a powerful example of God's grace, mercy and love for His people!
Rain in the Promiseland by Vanessa Miller was a continuation of the Rain Series.
In this book we look at the lives of Nina and Issac, Cynda and Keith, Elizabeth and Kenneth and Ikee. This book brings all the characters together from previous stories and shows how they have grown and are still faced with some major decisions. Will they continue to listen to the voice of God or will they do things their own way.
I really enjoyed this book by Vanessa Miller. Vanessa has a way of drawing you in from the beginning and keep you wanting more and I am looking forward to reading the final book in the series. Great job Vanessa!
I enjoyed this book as I do all of Ms Vanessa's books. I like the humanness of Nina and Elizabeth in this book. Nina was just dealing with some anxiety. I believe she was entitled. With a large and in charge dude like Isaac who wouldn't have some anxiety? It's not that she didn't know God would come through, it was just always so much going on. She just needed to decompress. It's all good. I can't wait to see what happens with Ikee. Lawd January is a long way!
I thought this book was good. It seems like the enemy is hell bent on destroying this family and friends but God's grace is surely sufficient for everything the enemy keeps throwing their way. I have really enjoyed this series. I did find there were spacing issues and some grammatical errors along the way but great series anyhow. I look forward to Ikee's story in January 2016! Great series Vanessa Miller!
