If a Bridgerton Story met gothic mystery! This was a novella debut that I have become invested in. From the first few POVS and multi- character chapters, I knew I had to know more about them! There is so much compelling backstory within everyone’s bloody objectives that I can see being turned into some single character prequels! The self-published writing was impeccable; so many deliciously smart one liners that I would get made into a t-shirt! LGBTQ romance, curses, duels, revenge! So much to love about this book —- go get yourselves a copy!!
This book had me on the edge of my seat from the very first chapter! Such a refreshing read- especially with the multi-perspective POV! The imagery/storytelling was captivating, and I found myself genuinely invested in each character. I’m crossing my fingers for a sequel!
