Every single conflict is resolved by duking it out. It's beautifully simplistic, but also pretty fun thanks to the fights themselves, the gorgeously detailed artwork and the sense of progression.

Backlash breaks Taboo out of a maximum security prison designed for SPBs. He needs her to track down S'Ryn the Daemonite lord who left his girlfriend Diane in a coma. Their mission is a challenging one, but will also give them the opportunity to get closer to each other.

Beautiful art and good writing made me keep getting getting Backlash every month. Image comics even goes beyond the norm with cool costumes and new looks for this new age of comic heroes. Backlash, Mark Slayton became my favorite of the Wildstorm titles.
He is a fugitive because he frees Taboo from jail to avenge and track down the killer of his girlfriend. It has been far too long since I read these, but now that I am trying to remember, I am thinking I will just read these again, so I will be back with a better review. Now I just have to go through the comic boxes and find them and get to reading.

Backlash is one of my alltime favorite heroes i was hurt when his monthly stopped, but every so often i pick them up and read them again i loved them so much, and Brett Booth's artwork is awesome, that's why he did Teen Titans for the New 52. You just gotta check things out for yourself cuz only you know what you like.
