No thank you. Why not? Well, on page 27 there's Michael Pollan's quote about not eating "anything your great-grandmother wouldn't recognize as food," followed on page 37 by a plug for Miracle Noodles, made from a dietary fiber food additive called glucomannan that's low in calories, carbs, and flavor. Or the fact that strawberries are on the list of acceptable foods, yet the two strawberry recipes in the book call for strawberry extract. Or the way sugar substitutes appear in so many recipes, not just the "treats" chapter. Bacon sausage does not need stevia.

Then there are the photos of raw food masquerading as finished recipes, like the kielbasa and cabbage on page 193 and the braised cabbage on page 281. But I must say that overall the photos are pretty good: they're not all brown meat and mush like some Paleo cookbooks.

It's a big, pretty cookbook, with lots of photos for everyone who likes them and a hip dietary structure for those who want it. But it's not for me. Back to the library it goes!

The recipes in this book are horrible. The keto bread and strawberry popovers were the worst of all. Highly DO NOT recommend.

Older book from 2015 so I don't expect it to be up to date with the current products out there, but some of the products they list are hard to find now let alone when they wrote the book. Also many recipes are just recipes that happen to be keto friendly. Lots of fancy stuff in here if you want to take a long time cooking.

Not terrible. I did enjoy the amount of desserts available. I also enjoyed how every recipe had a picture to go with it. There a quite a few recipes in here I would be willing to try. So I guess there is that.

The back has a few weeks worth of meals mixed together to give you a start point for following the Keto diet. All in all, not bad.

Lots of great information - however some of the ingredients needed aren't readily available in the grocery store. I like the idea of this nutrition plan, but it's not so easy to get everyone in our household on board.

Good looking food!

Lots of yummy quick recipes in here. Long front end though. Wish it had instant pot cooking techniques included in the book.

I received this book as a gift from my sister, who has embraced all natural food living for some time now. I must say the recipes in the book are much simpler than I thought they would be, and I am much closer to a ketogenic lifestyle than I realized.

My weaknesses of fresh bread, chocolate and Reese's Pieces have counterparts in this book of recipes that I am anxious to try. Most importantly, I know that if I change to an all natural diet, I will be healthier as a result.

The authors are very clear on the point that this is not a weight loss diet book, it is a diet designed to heal your body and get living back under control. This no pressure approach, and plenty of options to experiment with. I am excited to head down this path, and the recipes in this book combined with extensive blogs and information from the authors should keep things interesting for many years to come.

Simple to read, easy to use and great detail on ingredients and why different ratios may work for you are another definite plus. I highly recommend keeping this one laying around and look forward to smudging the pages with healthy, all-natural goop. :)

Interesting premise but a lot of ingredients I don’t have in my pantry and that aren’t easily found in the grocery store.

Not all the recipes were really for us but I really liked how each one had a beautiful photo.
