Reckless Love

Rate this book
Opposites attract. But can they last?

Leo Wellington-Kerr, rock musician, billionaire and minor nobleman, was the definition of recklessness - utterly unconcerned with the consequences of his actions, and laughing in the face of tradition. Until he laid eyes on curvaceous Jasmine.

A passionate musician, she puts her heart and soul in everything she does. But when she meets Leo, her body demands its turn.

The fire that burns between them threatens to set everything alight - if they succumb to it, that is.

Or will it be their salvation?

I really liked the premise of the book -- Cello Player meets Rock Star and they both get hit by the love bolt. There were a few issues with editing, plus the reader/buyer is lulled into thinking that Reckless Love is actually 303 pages -- it's not! The author included The Billionaire Baby Doctor, The Billionaire: Mine & an excerpt from her book, Scandalous: The Senator’s Secret Bride as bonuses. This might have been okay if it was mentioned upfront as I don't typically download ebooks with less than 100 pages.

I'm a little upset with this one. I know I know... These KU books tend to be teasers, however, this one kept my attention, and just when I though it was taking off it ended...at 58%, what the fudge? How do you have 42% of you book as teasers, and not tell the reader going in. Because of this, it was not worth reading. The main characters are barley together... Literally the met, spent a day together insta love (which I don't mind), followed by a separation with lots of mooning for each other, they reunite for a day, she gets pregnant, there are no calls, text, Skype, FaceTime nada... When they are apart. Then he sees her and proposes, she accepts, by the way I'm pregnant, oh great I love you the end. WTF

Just the perfect relief from the massive book hangover I had. I loved the hangover but it was hard to pick another book, so I went to my go to interracial romance author Imani King. SHE NEVER FAILS ME!!! This story was a quick read but different and in no cookie cutter. Leo is not really your typical rock star and Jasmine has a few secrets of her own. There was angst, romance, beautiful writing, and dynamics between the couple and a few extra voices just the perfect mix to create a wonderfully romantic interracial story.

There will be no video review for the book.

I was very excited about the premise of this book. Interracial MF about a female musician. AWESOME. Total brownie points for the cover as well. It's gorgeous. However, sadly this story didn't deliver what I needed. I didn't care for Jasmine at all. I thought she was TSTL. Dare I say this book was somewhat unrealistic. For a person who hates that term, I feel bad for saying it.

I loved Leo which is what kept me reading. There was more about his past that could've been explored. The author dropped hints about his childhood and I wanted to know more. I was very disappointed that the story seemed rushed. It could've been a lot better and the fact that ...

*SPOILER* The story isn't as long as the actual book itself, was a bummer. I HATE when authors add bonus stories and not tell the reader. Instead of filling up my Kindle with another poorly written book, I'd rather try finishing this one first.

All in all. not terrible, but the author missed out on a prime opportunity to make it a much better tale.

Waste of time

I hate I bought this book I wish I could get my money back. This is not the first book I've read of this style I guess it is something new. I will not support this type of writing it is worst than cliff hangers and I hate them but they at least have another book to tie up the loose ends. It is refreshing to read a book that is not full of errors but the story drags on and on and on..... The two that are suppose to be The heroine and hero are never together...Honestly they are in different countries we learn all about what the are doing in the other countries. He catches a plane back to her sits through a concert. A diner then their together the end. All of the over done sex scenes and musical talk could have been put on a romantic story.. I don't know what type of book this is but I am sure it is no romance!!!

Sweet Story

These were three really sweet and sexy stories, told in nice neat packages. The conflicts plaguing each couple are real life issues that would have been so much better being told separately. While you get a sense of connection, you can't get a real grip because you are not getting full details and feelings. These are definitely three good ways to kill time and get some fantastic endings.

When opposites attract

Reckless love was a good book. Leo and Jasmine fell in love at first sight. They come from two different worlds. He's a rock star and she plays the cello. I love when opposite attracts. This was a short read but the author included more of her work at the end of the story.

Sensational & steamy novel..

This novel left you engaged. The story had good flow & intrigued your imagination. There wasn't a lot of disconnect and the grammar was excellent. A total good read!

Something was a little off

I enjoyed this story but the writing seemed different. It didn't quite read exactly like people talk. No matter where they're from or what economic class they are from. But other than that it was a good read.

Too Much Talking

I thought the story was a sweet romance but damn it just too much talking. It was a sandwich on a roll, too much filler. Needed to pull out some of the bread stuffing.

3 Books N 1

The 1st book Reckless Love was worth 4 Stars, the remaining books and additional excerpts weren't nearly as good and I couldn't give them 4 Stars.
