Amy Stokes is the loyal sister of the Aces VP Diesel, and confidant to most members of the club. Her many endearing qualities make her suitable for one of the most important roles a woman can have within the club, and it was only a matter of time before she embraced the inevitable to find solace in the arms of a club member. Recon is everything her mother warned her about, strong, dominant and dangerous but the pull between them is far too strong for her to break free.

During a turbulent time within the club, Amy's loyalties are tested when she's called upon to assist the Aces. Trying to prove her worth and hoping to win the heart of the man she cares so deeply for, Amy agrees but in doing so pays the ultimate price.

Struggling with her emotions from her loss, Amy spirals out of control and quickly goes down a path of self-destruction, ignoring the pleas of her family and friends until Duke finally steps in and offers her a way out. Amy settles into her new role and slowly rebuilds her life as she enjoys helping the club from afar, until Doc's son James comes crashing into her life.

James is everything that Recon isn't which intrigues Amy and a relationship quickly develops but James is hiding his own secrets that when revealed, bring Amy's insecurities to the forefront.

Blake 'Recon' Washington has only ever loved one woman, and when those feelings aren't reciprocated, Recon deals with the issue the only way he knows how and leaves Essex for another chapter in Norfolk. But absence makes the heart grow fonder, and when Duke asks Recon to come back and assist him as the clubs Sergeant at Arms, he jumps at the opportunity of supporting his close friend and at the possibility of winning Amy's heart.

Will Amy find the love that she deserves from James or will Recon stir up the feelings she's been trying to forget for so long?

Note to readers:
This is not your normal MC series. The Aces are an MC with alpha males but the members do not shy away from the fact that they are husbands, fathers and lovers with feelings. If you don’t like a biker who cares and respects his woman, then this isn't a book for you.

I want to take the time to mention that I’m from the United Kingdom and use UK spellings.

To receive the full experience of the Aces MC Series it is recommended to read the stories in the following order:

Diesel – Book 1
Duke - Book 2
Paige and Chloe - Book 2.5
Spike - Book 3
Amy - Book 3.5
Locke - Book 4
Jayden - Book 4.5

I've always had an overly imaginative and creative mind and although I've managed to maintain my sanity regardless of my career choice (teaching), I've decided to channel that creativity in other ways. Never had I thought of writing a book, until 2014 and I'm pleased that I did.

I hope to entertain those who enjoy gritty romance stories with domineering men and strong women.

I like to think I have a certain edge over other MC authors because of my family ties to an MC in the UK, which help to keep my books realistic (to a certain degree!) and not shy away from the fact that these club members although alpha male, are still husbands, fathers and lovers with feelings.

Thank you to all that read my books and support me in pursuing my dream.

I hope my readers enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

REVIEWING FOR ONE CLICK AHOLICS BOOK GROUP
Wow...... We've already met Amy in the previous books of this series and know that she's basically the Matriarch of the Ace's Mc, the strong, loyal and respected one. The one who is ALWAYS there for the brothers whether it's helping them with their love lives or just as a friendly ear.
This is her story and takes us through how she dealt with pivotal moments in the previous books as well as telling her story as to why she wanted to distance herself from the club.
This was book took me through an absolute rollercoaster of emotions for Amy and what she goes through. The way it was written really pulls you in, causing you to want to climb inside the book and hug her, tell her that everything will be ok. There were a few twist and surprises too, especially when you see the usually so well put together Amy that we're used to seeing is breakable.
Yet again an absolutely superbly written story that flowed brilliantly !!
Absolutely loved it !!!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was another great story from Aimee-Louise Foster that you will not want to stop reading once you start. If like me you have read the precious books in this series you will have had seen glimpses of Amy, and heard little about what happened to her. Here we get the full story, see Amy piece herself back together after something horrible happens, and find out who Amy is meant to be with. I had my mind made up halfway through the book who it would be, and was happy to see the author thought the same way.

This book can be read without having read the previous books but, I would say read the others as then you will know who everyone is

Not what I expected

Amy has been one of my favorite characters in this series. Now that I have read her book I will not view her the same. Throughout the series Amy has been a voice of reason and a pretty strong woman. In her book she was very childish wanting attention and acting out. She really worked my last nerve. I understand that she had a terrible tragedy but I did not like how she handled things. I mean calling the members of the MC by their Christian names was very confusing for me. I had to keep looking in the front of the book to know which member she was talking to, sigh. I also wanted her to end up with the other guy but everything worked out. I will still finish the rest of the series to find out what happens with the rest of the guys.

ARC Provided by author in exchange for an honest review

This book started off with a bang and also so much sadness. I felt so sad for Amy and everything she went through. She was in a sort of relationship with Blake 'Recon' and when everything happened she didn't know where she stood with him and ended things with him, in a way that I didn't agree with.
But Recon decided to leave the chapter and go to another chapter and that was the end of them

And then she met James and even though he was good for her it was a bit up and down and you didn't know what was going to happen. And in the midst of this Recon made an appearance and then it was so confusing cause she had all these feelings that wasn't sorted out for him. So she had two men who wanted her and she didn't know what she wanted.

Too many things happening and you didn't know who she was going to choose.

I enjoy this series so much and would like to see what's happening with Woods and Justice??

Thank you Aimee for allowing me to read your book! Mwah

I received an ARC copy for an honest review. I read this from start to finish in a couple of hours. I had to see who Amy chose in the end. Recon and James are both strong Alpha male types in total different ways and life styles. I had my choice made half way through the book. I was so pleased that Aimee Louise Foster felt he was best for Amy too. Amy is a strong independent woman who built herself back up from a personal loss. Recon was her first love and they never really had the closer needed to move on. James can give Amy the future she needs and deserves. When Recon comes back and wants Amy back should she give up James?

Just fyi:
This is an MC series however there isn't much MC business in this book. It focuses on Amy who is family of the MC and James who is Doc's son. Yes Recon is member but it's about more of his personal life.

Thank you Aimee for another great read. Ready the next book.

Miss foster has a lot to answer for

I love this series having read them all so far but must admit to being a little vexed at the author first she kills off Locke in his own book and his pregnant girlfriend moves away without telling the club about baby Locke and now recon doesn't get Amy she ends up with James who I will admit I don't like he omits to tell her about his children investigates her finds out what happened to her then tricks her into telling him about it but refuses to tell her about himself and excuse me but if his wife died three years ago then why the hell was he trying to pick Amy up five years ago no think he's dodgy ( rant over) the book itself is good just wasn't happy with the outcome lol but I know Aimee likes to keep us on our toes hope poor recon gets is own hea

I loved Amy and what the poor girl went through, it was just so sad. I am glad she managed to come through in the end and get her life back on track. I really did like recon and has he seemed loyal to Amy and they had great chemistry, so I was wondering what I was going to think of James, and I thought maybe I wouldn't like him has much, but I was completely wrong there I really loved James, the sexy doctor was definitely another alpha male in the bedroom. I had a feeling what his secret was and I think how this book ended was really great and was pleased with it, although I did feel bad for the other person has he did seem to really love her to, so I hope he gets his happy ending in the future.

Wow
We have met Amy in the previous books but never really knew her
Her story is well worth the wait to read !
Amy is a very strong women who lost her way after an attack whilst protecting the club she grew up in she is very independent and its seems the club are very protective of her
She's found her way back after heartbreak bring on James not what I expected he's very dominant and I loved it
My heart broke for Reacon he loved Amy but because he never told her he lost her but Amy didn't help by holding back her secret !
Another brilliant read from Aimee Louise Foster can't wait for the next book

I was very excited about this book because we have been getting to know Amy since the beginning of the series. She has always been there for the others in the mc when needed. I was so sad to see she didn't let them help her when she needed them. A lot of miscommunication happens because of stubborness and pride. My heart broke for Amy and oddly enough, Recon. I thought he was all over the place, determined to have Amy one minute and then turning away the next. Ms. Foster does a great job of making you feel for these characters. Looking forward to the next in this series. I was given an Arc for an honest review.

I received and arc in exchange for an honest review. I just couldn't stop reading this book. I just had to know how it ended and who Amy chose in the end, Recon or James. I was so hoping Amy chose the other guy but I will say I'm completely happy with who she chose in the end and that both Amy and Recon got the closer that they needed to move on. it starts out about 5 years before Desiel and Ink's book and as it goes it gives a little more insight into the first 3 books as well. Aimee you wrote another fabulous book and I can't wait for more!

Good, but I expected a lot more of the story.
I had great expectations about the character because she captivated me in previous books.
But I was disappointed.
I love the series and I'll keep reading the stories.

**ARC For Honest Review**

I have mixed feelings about Amy's book, I guess you could say I had pre-judged how it would go based off the blurb and teasers which I know 100% not to do that but hey it happens sometimes.. in no way was I disappointed in Amy's story but I guess it threw me off a bit at first... so where do I start?
First off Wow just Wow who knew Amy was so spicy between the sheets..lol..definitely loved that little curve ball...I won't elaborate you can read those hot little numbers for yourself :)
Second I was utterly heart broken for Amy, the tragedy in which she suffered hit so close to home for me..(not so violently) to have something so precious ripped away before you were even given the chance to love it is earth shattering and to feel all alone in your suffering, to push everyone away and to not know how to stop yourself from spiraling out of control and into the darkness..uhh I wept through this part I had to put the book down for a little bit after this.
Third this is where things get a little sticky for me with those pre-judgements..I didn't feel like there was any sort of competition between james and recon for Amy, not really anyways..I felt like one was her past that wanted to be her future but it was to little to late, and one was a light from her darkest time that was always suppose to be her future..if that makes since. I felt like Amy only struggled with her decision because she was still holding onto her secrets.
ok my fourth and final point...I'm praying the loosing man gets his own story and happily ever after because he truly deserves it..I felt horrible for him because he always seemed a day late and a dollar short..now don't get me wrong I wanted to smack him quite a few times but I loved him none the less. you'll understand my love for him once you read it.
Definitely an awesome read for me but note to self never judge a book by its teasers..lol

Great job once again Aimee-louise I can't wait to see what you give us next :)

I have been waiting for Amy's book since "Duke" because she caught my attention as the one woman every one seems to turn to. So I am so happy to finally get to read it. Fan-freakin-tastic

I really appreciate Aimee's writing style as she has more then one persons view. Since I really dislike "first person" books I just LOVE that we hear Amy, Recon and James actions/thoughts. Also appreciate the list of characters and a short recap in each book as to what went on with the other books so if you are just reading this book first and have not read the others you will not be lost as to who is who and what has already happened.

Amy starts out as a young 21 year old looking to become an old lady and show Recon she can handle the life and tries to help the club and all hell breaks loose. So sad for what happened and I understand why she spirals out of control now and then. But with the help of Duke she starts to get her priorities straight and get on with her life.
The story recaps her life and then leads into about 5 years later when she meets James. But still every now and then her emotions spin out of control when she is overwhelmed but her friends and family help her get through the rough times and until she faces what happened and finally talks about it she is in a vicious cycle (like 10 steps forward and 4 back) She keeps a secret of what happened to her but does finally explain what happened to James and Recon and it seems to release her and let her finally and truly get on with her life and put the past in the past.

Both men, Recon and James, held my attention through the whole book. Neither one is bad for her but I knew which one I wanted and am so happy happy happy with who she chose. I want one of him, he is my new book fantasy man and replaced Diesel (sorry Diesel)

Oh the array of mixed emotions I feel for Amy, James and Recon! I can't remember the last time I read about a love triangle of sorts and didn't know who I wanted to win right until it happened! (and honestly, I'm still not sure...) My heart bled for our heroine, for something so tragic to happen while trying to prove her worth to the club was devastating. It put the whole 'distance and christian name calling' into perspective (although I did have to stop and think a few times to make sure I had the right member lol).
I wanted to strangle Recon for dissapearing! Couldn't he see past his macho ego that she was acting out of heartbreak? When he returned, behaving the way he did towards her, I felt that he deserved another chance. He quite clearly still loved her, and she still had an abundance of feelings towards him.
But then there is James - and I'm honestly still a bit on the fence with him. He is so deliciously alpha with Amy in the bedroom.... sigh, just perfect! I can actually completely understand why he was reluctant to divulge his secret and don't hold that against him at all. What I felt uneasy about was the way he got his information, about her attack and what the consequences were. That and the fact that he originally came onto her when he would have been married? However, in the land of the Aces MC, things are rarely as they seem so this may well be cleared up later!
All in all, I felt like I was on a rollercoaster and couldn't wait to see where the journey ended. Fabulous Aimee-Louise Foster - simply fabulous!

An emotional romance that will pull you in right from the start. Amy has grown up in the club life with her father, brother, and cousin all having been patched members. When the president of the Aces, Viper, asks her and another girl to go undercover for the club, she doesn't think twice about it. When tragedy strikes and Amy's caught in the middle, her life will be forever changed. Not knowing how to deal with her circumstances, she starts acting out by getting drunk and putting herself in dangerous situations, much to the displeasure of the club.

After 5 years of getting the help she needed, Amy is finally getting on with her life, and enjoying it. When she meets James again, Doc's son, the chemistry is still there as it had been before. They're both excited to see where their attraction may lead. What they don't count on is the past coming back or their current situations getting in the way.

A heartbreaking story of tragedy, grief, strength, finding one's self, and fighting for the happiness everyone deserves to have. This was an emotional roller-coaster of a story, for many people, but it all ends exactly how it should be. A fantastic book, and a great addition to this awesome series!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.

I totally loved this book, and it fits perfectly into the Aces MC series!!! Well written and i love the fact that its a UK based MC as it felt like being home!!!
Amy has a past with Aces patched member Recon that ended with a devastating outcome that pulled them apart! Time moves on in which she heals herself both emotionally and physically, she finally meets a man that she feels she maybe able to love!!!
James is the son of Aces MC Doc and he is helping his dad with situations at the club. A chance meeting 5 years previous breaks the ice when he meets Amy at the clubhouse. But he is hiding secrets too and once they come out... What will the outcome be?
With a few twists and turns and a huge blast from her past returning, who will Amy give her heart too? With secrets unfolding left right and centre, will Amy finally get her HEA? Who will she choose... James or Recon? This was a definate 10/10 read and i couldn't put it down, it kept me wondering what was coming next! I can't wait to see what Ms Foster is going to come up with in the next book in series!!!

Emotional, Over Coming heartbreak, New beginnings.
Amy is an emotional read that pulls you in to the story. Amy's struggles with balancing her loyalties to her brother and there MC family. She suffers an heartbreaking situation that would cripple most. After distancing herself from the club she begins to carve out a life for herself, whilst remaining loyal. Just as Amy is healing she meets James. Who is sweet, caring, dominant and has secrets. As Amy's relationship is heating up with the hot doctor. Her ex Recon appears. Whilst there attraction is still strong. Is she willing to end the budding relationship with the doctor. To rekindle with Recon? To mend there painful past and move forward?
A great addition to the ACES MC Series. I'm always amazed by Aimee Louise Foster ability to create realistic and flawed character's that are enjoyable to read. Aimee Louise Foster weaves story's with painful, emotional and intense journey's that lead to brighter futures. Always a pleasure to read.

Have to say from all the other books I had a different view of Amy. Since they really didn't elude to her past in the other books I think I saw her as the sister of the MC who took care of the women who loved the MC members that were close to her.
This book gave me a different view and showed me a female who was much stronger than I thought.
Once again this storyline shows us how things can go horribly wrong when we choose to not tell someone what we really feel or think and often we watch our future walk out the door.
Amy and James found each other but both had past that they needed to deal with and were each worried what the other would think.

Love this MC and the alpha males and women who love them. This is really a unique way of looking at the alphas in an MC and showing that they really do care about those whom they love.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to give an honest review. I had to do some thinking about this before I sat down to review. This book was great. There's no doubt about that at all. Aimee-Louise Foster always writes an excellent story with well fleshed out characters with real personalities. Amy roped me in from the start and gave me all I wanted. It had loving partners, excitement, intrigue, laughter and a little bit of kink. If you like romance with an edge of danger, if abused characters learning to fight are your thing, and if you're looking for a read that is as sweet as it is frustrating until the characters learn their lessons, well then this is the book for you.

Aimee Louise-Foster you never disappoint.

So first off I love this series.. Hard to write a review without giving anything away. I was lucky and got to read a arc of this book. Another book written by Aimee I couldn't put down. We met Amy in the other books in this series. She is the one who always helps everyone so it was nice getting her story. This book was crazy emotional and drove me crazy. I loved it. It's hard to see the strong Amy we know be broken. She faces tough decisions, but that's what makes it a great book.. If you haven't read this series you should give it a try..

I Love the aces mc and i fell in love with amy. It was good how we got to go back in time to see amys past and what shaped her and made her become the person she is. The road she went down and what happened to her made me feel sad as amy is a beautiful character and didn't deserved what happen to
her.

It does so some time jumping which makes the story more intriguing as we dont have to wait around and it jumps straight to it. Amy is unique and so far one of my faviour characters. Her strength and her personality is amazing. Loved her story

I received an ARC for my honest review. Amy's book was one I couldn't wait to read. She is such a strong female character lead and doesn't take any crap:) While Amy's book was not as much of a tear jerker as Locke's (thankfully), it was still emotional at times. I was extreamly happy with the way Amy's story ended. Aimee-Louise Foster is such a great author and this is one series I can't get enough of!

So we met Amy in the previous books and she is the sister to the clubs vp and is also a trusted associate of the club and it's other associates. Amy us a very strong willed and loyal character in this book you learn about her back story and about how her past tried to come back and catch up with her after she has finally learned to move on.

overall this book is just as amazing as the others and I loved it just as much cannot wait until the next release!

I really wasn't sure how the story would end but was pleased with how it did. I can't wait for the next book, this series is totally addictive!

Loved this book
I love how it shows the interaction between the characters and how the relationships change through circumstance and events in their life
Bit of a twist in this book I would be interested in seeing the loosing parties story in their own book this book spans several years and explains why Amy has distanced herself from the club so fills the gaps from the other books in the series

Aces series is one of my favorite series. Amy is dedicated to her brothers. Loves Recon and due to tragedy never knows how much he loves her. Amy's life is different now tragedy has struck. Amy's story has you fall in love with each of the brothers as they are just as dedicated to Amy. Story ending is surprising. One more reason to love Aimee's books. Hope is a great word describe this story. WOW! Yet another great story. Honest review from Arc reader.
