Andy has grown up living in a space station, one of many filled with Human occupants that were forced to leave Earth when the Trulonians arrived.
On Earth, there is a growing resistance of Humans working against the Trulonians. In an effort to bring unity to the two races, the leader of the North American Trulonians, Oslo, calls upon the Commander of Andy's space station to send a Human girl to Earth for a plan he believes will help in his efforts.
Being in the wrong place at the wrong time, after a dangerous stint in space walking, Andy is sent, unwillingly, to Earth. Andy first meets Leo, who shatters all expectations she had of the Trulonians she'd meet on Earth. Quickly, Andy learns she'll be spending a lot more time with Leo, and his three brothers, for reasons she never saw coming.

I will start with two problems I had with this book: this boring, not fitting cover and the font size which sometimes changed in the middle of a page. Ah, and there is an excerpt of another book at the end (which I normally like), but I think the draft version was used. Sometimes words were crossed out and replaced with a different word. The author really should check the book again.
However, I still liked the story. First, I didn't like that the aliens and their culture were hardly any different from humans. I mean what's the point of having aliens in a story if not to use the difference to cause problems? There is an explanation for this and I thought that was ok, but I still think some potential was lost there. Or maybe the author will use this in future books to give the story an interesting direction. So, I don't think this book is for the classical Sci-Fi fan. I guess this is more for the YA fan who also likes some Sci-Fi elements in the story. There is no love-triangle in this story (YEAH!) and the female MC is (as usual) instantly attracted to the male MC, but luckily nobody talks about endless love or something like that. The romance is an important factor in the story, but it is not the main focal point.
I really love Jess Petosa's books. This is another one that sucked me in and I read in a day. The problem is now I have to wait for the next two books to be written :(.
This was a fantastic book. Enjoyed it so much. It is a quick read and you will want to keep reading until it is finished. Can't wait for the next one to see what happens next.
My first thought with this book was that it definitely wasn't something I would usually go for. However, it was Jess Petosa and I loved her Exceptionals series, so I had to try it out. Definitely not disappointed. She never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat because I never know what is going to happen next. Only complaint is that her e-books always have a LOT of typos and grammatical errors. Wish that could be caught in editing. That's just what comes with being an independent author, I guess. Anyway, I finished this in two days and I loved it.
