Great fun to read, let's not dance around it, but not what I would consider serious fanfiction due to the sheer amount of character bashing that goes on. I understand that the original actually had more, so I dread to think as this is pretty obsessive about bashing Dumbledore, the Weasley's and to a lesser extent Remus. I enjoy the author's writing, but prefer to see a more balanced set of characters rather than the caricatured that you get with the whole bashing thing; it's better done than most as there is an undeniable level of humour throughout as though the author is laughing at themselves as much as anything, but it still swings this from a four star to a three star.

Still good but liked the original version more - there is nothing wrong with bashing characters at times.
