When a young man is sold for drugs on the day of his mother’s funeral, he thinks his life is over. It wasn’t like it was a great life that Malcolm Sandoval had led so far, not with a drug addicted mother, a father who’d left him before he was three and a stepfather that punched first and asked questions later. Kirk was another biker, like TJ, Malcolm’s stepfather. A Harley riding, drug dealing biker. That’s all Malcolm could see…at first. Soon, however, Kirk’s amazing body and more amazing but gruff kindness tore through Malcolm’s belief that no one could want him. He felt himself falling for the quiet and deadly man, but like all the roads of Malcolm’s life, the bumps steered him into despair. Kirk goes to prison and Malcolm must face the world without him. Busted for attempting to kill Malcolm’s hated stepfather, Kirk faces at least six months and Malcolm takes the members of the bike club to Oregon to avenge the betrayal TJ had committed. TJ’s brother seeks his own revenge and makes Malcolm pay for the theft of his money and the death of his brother. Can Kirk get out in time to save Malcolm or will this be their last ride? Warning: Contains scenes of sex between two men, light bdsm, violence.
I love writing, it's been my dream for many years, and in October of 2013, when my first book went live on Amazon, that dream came true.
Writing love stories that are centered on flawed but lovable characters is my passion. Finding love between people isn't easy, nor should it be. Even in a book, there have to be obstacles for the story to feel real.
I am a mother of three amazing people, and three adorable fur babies. I live in Colorado but love many other places besides my home. One state in particular is New Mexico, the state where I was born has always held a place in my heart.
People and places make my stories what they are. Each character I've written is a part of me in some way. Each place I write is as well. Adventures come in many ways, and each of my stories has taken me on an adventure that I treasure.
Come with me on my adventures and fall in love with my characters, as I have. I promise, you will love the ride.
What happened to that shy man who was afraid to see me naked?
You fucked him to death. Now I'm possessing his body
I loved this book! Malcolm was so adorable and had lived a shitty life so far. He thought he was screwed when Kirk bought him from his stepdad but that was the best thing that could have happened to him.
Kirk is sexy as Hell! He thought he'd never love again but was surprised by the man he got when he decided Malcolm would be his.
This story has up and downs and was really entertaining.
I have been a fan of Rain Carrington's books since I first read Rebel Yells. But I think this book is her best to date. This is an incredibly fresh take on a biker gang book, I was blown away. She has a way with a story that just pulls you in and you forget you are reading. You see the story unfold and before you know it, you have reached the end. I always find myself sad at the end because I want even more! Malcolm is such a great character. Even with the crappy life he had lead, he still has love in his heart. And they way you see Kirk starts out a bit negative, then you find yourself rooting for him because first impressions can be misleading. The two of them grab at your heart strings almost immediately, and you hope things work out. Emotionally, this book takes you for a ride. I think I went through every emotion possible. It is unbelievable, and I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars. Malcolm Sandoval is an eighteen year old boy who has had it rough. Six years ago, his mom, Gloria, started dating TJ, a biker in the Devil's Rebels. Quickly becoming addicted to meth, she has died and Malcolm is stuck with his abusive stepdad who loves to beat the crap out of him when he isn't making him do everything around the house. At his mom's funeral, he meets Kirk, who is a member of the same bike club. When TJ sells Malcolm to Kirk for fifteen hundred dollars worth of speed, Malcolm doesn't think his life can get much worse. Now he fears he is to be the man's sex toy. Kirk is a thirty three year old enforcer for Devil's Rebels. He is one of the few gay men in a biker club. Only because of his size and strength is he able to get by. Although he is a tough guy, he doesn't use drugs and he keeps very fit. When he first meets Malcolm, he is quickly drawn to the man. When the deal comes up, he figures he can take Malcolm out of his shitty situation and gain himself a sex partner he doesn't have to worry about falling for. Boy was he wrong. The two of them grow close and Kirk helps Malcolm uncover his sexual desires along the way. But nothing ever comes easy for Malcolm, and the two have to face some very dark times. When the club is betrayed, Malcolm steps up to the task and proves to be invaluable. But there is always a price and this may turn out to be one that Malcolm might not survive. This book had me from the get go and I was hooked. There are some wild twists and scary situations in this book and it will leave you with a heck of a book hangover. If you have never read Rain Carrington's books, after this one, you will be wondering where she has been all your life. She is a brilliant story teller and should not be missed. Even though this is book 2 in the series, it is a stand alone read. You do not have to have read The Family to read this one. If you love sexy, kinky, hot men and gripping story lines, grab this book now. You can thank me later!
OMG THIS WAS AMAZING!!!!! Malcolm, this poor boy, tossed away like trash, until this chance meeting with a sexy, dangerous biker Kirk. Both there world's would forever change. Mal, finally finds a place where he belongs, being in love and having a family he always wanted. Kirk, letting go of his dark heart and opening it up for his sweet Mal This was exciting, heartbreaking at times, accepting, loving, and SMOKING HOT!!! LOVED THIS AND I AM LOVING THIS SERIES THIS WAS FANTASTIC
So...this seems to be the second book the author has written and she still hasn't really found herself yet. The writing style, pacing and now plotting are all over the place and completely implausible.
In this book, I don't see a connection at all to the first Men In Shadows book. I don't know what this one had to do with the first one. Maybe book 3 will clear that up. I'm going to take a break before I read book 3 though. Again, If I had started with this one, I'm not sure how much farther I would have gone.
I am really enjoying this series. I love how gritty they are. Usually main characters are good guys. Good people who work every day jobs and do every day things. These stories don’t toe that line and I’m finding that I’m really enjoying that. Like The Family, The Biker has some pretty heavy violence, drugs, gangs, death, and a lot of rough sex. And like The Family, The Biker also has 2 very flawed men that are perfect for each other.
Kirkland Mitchell is a big time biker and a small time drug runner. He loves being a biker but hates the drug business. He knows he has to do it though for the money. At a funeral he sees a young man that intrigues him. Knowing the man’s stepfather is a druggie piece of crap that’s in his biker gang he realizes the man would be better off with him. After making a shady deal, the man becomes Kirk’s property.
Malcolm Sandoval has just buried his mother and then finds out his stepdad sold him to a huge, scary biker. Malcolm is terrified and heartbroken. Knowing he has nowhere else to go he is forced to go with Kirk.
What begins so horribly quickly turns into something more. Thinking Kirk would be like his stepfather, Malcolm is pleasantly surprised because Kirk is gentle and kind. Malcolm quickly falls in love with Kirk.
I really love this author’s writing style. Everything about it appeals to me. I really love the characters too. They’re so flawed and heavy handed and aggressive but underneath all of that is this intense love they feel for their partners.
These books are so good! I have not been disappointed yet. I definitely recommend the series!!

Krik really need money. He need a lot of it. When TJ can’t pay he offers his brother Malcolm instead of payment. How is a virgin going to deal with Kirk?
Kirk is in the really tough Motorcycle gang. They are all a family right? No one would do anything bad to the “family” Or, would they?
Imagine being “sold” at 18, a virgin to this rough guy who you have never seen emotion from
What will happen when they find out TJ wants to take over Kirk’s “business”
They both come from broken worlds. Both men have seen a lot in their lives. They are about to see a lot more! Will they be strong enough to fight for love? It won’t be easy
This is a total rollercoaster ride! Nothing is easy for either of them. They have a long road to go full of turmoil, heartbreak and loss before they can even begin to heal.
Your emotions will be all over the place with this amazing book! No one can make you feel so much like Rain! This is hands down her best book every! Do not miss this!!!
This series keeps getting better and better. I would say this one can be read as a stand alone, since no story lines overlap and there are no characters from the first story included in this one. At the beginning I disliked Kirk as much as TJ, but Rain Carrignton has a way redeeming the characters and make you fall in love with them. He saved Malcolm and gave him a better life, despite the unconventional beginning to their relationship. My heart was breaking for Malcolm and the hand that he was dealt in life, but he surprised me by showing his strength and actually becoming the hero in various ocassions. The love of the biker brothers was beautiful to witness when they all came together for one of their own. Can't wait for Sammy's story, because he needs his HEA.
Rain has written some amazing books, this one though? Hands down the best one by far. More than once I had to stop and collect myself in order to continue. She has this way of building up and tearing down before you know what's hit you. Malcolm and Kirk did just that. Mal had been through so much and even being with Kirk, didn't take the danger away. He was so strong and kept his head and tried his hardest to be loyal and true, even facing his own death. Gritty, harsh and tough characters to care for, yet Rain has this way of making us love them all that much more!
A few years back I began to write for fan fiction sites, two mainly, and finally started to scratch an itch I’d had for twenty odd years, to put words down and weave them into something that someone, somewhere may enjoy reading. There I made some great friends and they encouraged me to continued and strive for more. Then I got up the courage to talk to a famous M/M writer and she read my story, Biker Trash. She liked it, and I was floored. I nearly puked just talking to the woman, but when she liked my story, I was over the moon. She encouraged me to self-publish, and though I was scared to DEATH, Honky Tonk was born. I now have several books out there, but I never forgot my first stories, the ones that started it all. I’ve tried so many times to rewrite them, make them over brand new and it never seemed to work. They lost something in the rewrites that people who loved them would hate. I know I did. So, instead of rewriting, I moved some words around, fixed some commas and typos and brought them back, much in their original forms. I’ve come far in my writing, and these may not have the pizazz of my later works, but they have endearing characters that I love every bit as much as the ones in my later stories. I’ve missed them, Dante, Blaine, Malcolm, Kirk, Devin, Sergio and so here they are, as promised. I hope you enjoy them!
I love this series!! I loved Kirk and Malcolm...their story was believable and just flowed...the secondary characters were well written as well and I can't wait to re-visit them in book 4 of this series....and it's official I'm going to read every book this author has written!!! I'm soooo glad I found another AMAZING author!!!!!
Another great book from a great author. Loved the story and the amount of action and drama in the book. Only thing that could made it better would been a bit more love and hot stuff.
