Bryce Henley grew up in a small town in Texas. He found the love of his life in high school and was ready to start a family with her by the time he was eighteen. His future was laid out in front of him until a tragic accident stole it from him. Six years later, he remains in the small town. He has spent this time living with the guilt of what he's done and convincing himself he doesn't deserve happiness. He fills his free time with random women, but can't get the memory of her from his heart. While tending bar, he finds himself faced with something he never imagined he'd face. When the fiery haired Phoenix auditions her band, he finds himself feeling emotions he hasn't felt in years. Her sweet face, stunning green eyes, and long red curls captivate him instantly. As much as he attempts to stay away from her, he can't. With her band now playing at the bar several nights a week, he can't escape her. Not that he tries very hard. Phoenix discovers that Henley writes music, plays guitar, and sings. And, he does it well. After some convincing, he plays for the rest of the band. In no time, he's taken in as the fifth member. He can't believe his luck. Not only is he starting to allow himself to care for someone, but he's in a band. After his tragic past, he'd never allowed himself to think he'd have more than his little cabin in the woods and his job at the bar. Phoenix does for him exactly what her name stands for. Her presence in his life allows him to rise from the ashes of his past and be reborn.
This story is so identifiable for everyone for dealing nicely with the themes of love, loss, being lost, and bouncing back. The background of music band added the additional flavor to the story. I found it to be a very sweet book about life, relationships, and hardships.
Reborn is a story about two people Henley and Phoenix, they both have pasts that have left inward scares on their futures, until the day they both meet and begin to try and find a new future- while they confront the their past in their own ways. Can they have a happy future or will the past hold them their? You'll have to read the book to find out.
I loved how this book brings in some country songs throughout, it helped make some of the scenes very real in my mind. I also thought the character were great and some of the scenes were quite emotional. But this novel does have a good balance between emotional times, happier times.
This novel has a lot of heart and a fair few bumps along the way to looking for love and happiness. While still grieving over the past. I would recommend this novel if you like romances mixed with a country music kind of feel.
Wow! This book definitely makes my list of best books I have read. This book has so much emotion in it. The book starts with Henley, a young man of 18 with his girlfriend, Christy. They are on the way to tell her parents that she is pregnant, when they have a wreck, and both Christy and the baby are killed. Henley then blames himself for their deaths, and does not think that he deserves happiness. Then six years later, Phoenix, an Irish red headed lead singer for a country music band auditions at the bar where he works. From there there are quite a few ups and downs, but far more ups. It is a story of a second chance, love, family, and friendship with some Irish sayings and country music thrown in. It is a beautiful story. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review, and I am looking forward to reading more from Rein Scott.
Fabulous book. I'm emotionally spent. I feel like I've read a complete trilogy rather than just one book at the start of a series. This book had a very special set of love stories woven into it. I enjoyed all of the band, Henley, and the parents, too! I was happy when Phoenix walked in and took Bryce's breath away. I was so hopeful that she would be able to get him to overcome the grief and loss he had been living with for the past six years. The wacko, obsessed stalker was an interesting twist. Thrilled with Opal and all she brought to the story. Will definitely look forward to reading more of the band.
I received Reborn in an exchange for an honest review. I thought this book was very well written. Main characters Henley and Phoenix both experienced something tough in their lives. I loved how Phoenix was very understanding towards Henley. She was able to help him move on from his past. I do believe they were destined to be together. This story was definitely about a second chance at love for both of them. This is for sure a must read for everyone.
Reborn was an epic story, I liked every letter of it. I liked the hurt and the tears, as much as the rest, the happy parts. The story starts strong. You’re not bored in the beginning, waiting for it to begin. It starts almost immediately and then when it started you get to know the characters pretty quick and that’s what I love in these kinds of books. You know the hurt in the two characters, you see them struggling with it, but then again, they live with it, and they grow strong! Lovely!
Characters Her: she’s a lovely girl, I would like to know more about her in the beginning of the book, but the information we’re getting comes really slow. It’s him we know more of! Him: He’s an awesome dude, but he doesn’t know how to cope with all the hurt inside of him. I was hoping all the while that he would learn how to live with it, because I would’ve been sad that we didn’t see them together at the ending, and happy of course.
Storyline The story starts with his accident and the stragic happening in his life. Then a few years later his life is still a mess. But only him knows. He meets this Irish girl with red her and falls for her, even though he doesn’t want to. We know men, they can be assholes, and he really is towards her. But I think it kind of is because he was too scared. He decides he really wants to do this and he lets her know he’s ready to fight.
Title The title isn’t that hard to figure out, but I liked the fact that there had been done a lot of thinking about it!
Ending Spoiling an ending in a book can only be done when the ending was pretty clear, this one wasn’t. I was reading this book full of doubts. So I decided not to spoil the ending. Because I want you all to enjoy this book as much as possible!
I was given an ARC in exchange of an honest review so here it goes. I can't tell you how much I love Bryce Hentley, he was such a sensitive guy all along the book, sometimes I really just want to get into the book and hug him, as long as you read the book you will see that he has a really hurting past and that it's what kept him from being truly happy and on his own word worthy it. I really like how the book was described by Hentley and how he described the different scenarios but I would have totally love if I would at least read one chapter that were narrated from Phoenix's POV, I love her by the way, her charisma will make you crazy and all of the fun phrases she says all along the book, believe me I learned a few of them lol. But, I think the book need a little bit more of drama, the book has a huge scene that is like traumatic but I just don't know it all went to easy...And i don't want to give any spoiler so I recommend you to read this book as soon as possible, as soon as you finished I think you will end like me, wanting to know more about it, I know it's like a long book but, come on a little more never hurt anyone. So I'm looking forward to read more about Rein Scott I totally think she has the potential to be a pretty good writer. Thank you for the opportunity.
Reborn was an emotional book for me. It was a beautiful story of a second chance at loving and being loved.
Henley was a guy who lost his pregnant girlfriend Christy and their unborn child in an accident when he was 18 years old. He was driving when the accident happened and never forgave himself. He never stopped loving Christy and felt that he didn't deserve the love of someone ever again.
Six years later, while working at the bar Phoenix walks in. She is Irish with beautiful red hair and the singer in a country music band. Phoenix also had a past where her heart was broken as well. She starts performing at the bar with her band and becomes close with Henley.
Watching these two go through ups and downs is very emotional. I don't think I have ever read a book where the guy showed so many emotions. This is a very sweet book that I highly recommend.

Prepare yourself to fall deeply in love with this book, its story, its characters..... Reborn is that wonderful! Well written, with an interesting, emotional story and sexy, funny, witty characters, this addictive and amazing book will take your breath away!!! Very sweet and sexy, you'll find yourself consumed by Henley and Phoenix's love! Rein Scott's talent and style will make you feel the sorrow, the pain, the loss, the sadness and hurt. But also the attraction, the chemistry and the uncertainty. I was expecting a "normal" rockstar romance but a surprise twist or two changed the beat to a softer tune... I loved every minute of this book, i honestly didn't want it to end and i look forward to read more about Phoenix Phyre!!! Having said it all, i just have to emphasize a little more on how much i loved the book so here it goes: Two Thumbs Up High In The Air With Lighters On!!!!!!
I received this book free for my review. I thought this was a really good read. I read many books from Amazon and this one was really well written (only a couple of misspellings / grammatical errors). This book is packed full of story. So much happens in this book. I was really happy that this was one book rather than splitting it up into several shorter stories with cliff hangers. It didn't feel at all like it was a book written by a new author. The characters were well developed and I really cared about them as I read.
Henley is a broken man working as a bartender and picking up a new random girl every night. Phoenix is the lead singer in a band that has just arrived from Ireland. I really felt like I read 3 books in one. There is some suspense, life throwing curves at people, and the standard romance story.
I'm kind of conflicted with how to review this book. I must say that it took me to get to the half of it to make me enjoy it. The first half was ok, but I found it very slow, and maybe I was unfocused or it was the book but I was dreading the slow progress of it. Then things got interesting, we saw more action and I really liked seeing the characters living as a couple and dealing with coupley things and being on the road. I think that it was well written, but too repetitive; The inner struggle of Henley, the main character, was obvious and it was dealt with in the half of the book, but we saw him repeating those thoughts to himself until the end of the book, and maybe it was a bit unnecessary. There was some level of dichotomy in the leading character's inner voice and his actions and thoughts of himself. He was logical and knew things but didn't believe them about himself and that bothered me, although I think I'm a bit like that too. (Sorry I can't explain myself better without writing spoilers so this will have to do) Some parts bored me, some parts made me smile. But I think it was a nice book about second chances and forgiving ourselves.

It is a very good story that is about love lost, and allowing yourself to love again. There were a only a couple of problems with the story for me. One is that the author never mentions lead male character is interested in writing or playing music what so ever to get over his loss, until lead female character finds songs and guitar. I was like ? So it just seemed a little too convenient for me. The second thing I had trouble with was the pacing. I guess this isn't really a problem per say, but I felt like everything in the story had played out and I was only 50% through the book.
By the end everything was wrapped up nicely. No wondering what happened with the main characters.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is a story about two people who have lost love only to find it again in each other! Henley was the cause of losing his first love and their unborn child, while Phoenix was thrown away by hers! They travel a long, twisted road together to find the love and happiness they both deserve. With that being said, I will say this book started off very slow to me. By half way through it really picks up and holds your interest. I enjoyed watching all of the crew falling in love in addition to Henley and Phoenix and would like to read their stories someday I think we will hear good things about this author in the future. Good Job!
I was given a copy of this book to read for my honest review. I enjoyed the story and felt that it was a sweet romance. Phoenix and Henley are 2 people who have been hurt in the past and not sure they are ready to love again when they meet. Henley has lost a great deal and does not feel that he deserves the love of Phoenix, but once he lets her into his life they are devoted to one another. This was a nice story, but not very exciting or fast paced. Just a sweet romance.
