Sam Reid is a writer, visual artist, and educator. He and his wife live and work all over the world, but call London home. After reading English at Oxford, Sam wrote and directed short films, and developed a sitcom for the BBC. He then went on to produce theatre and opera, before settling down to the fantastically lucrative occupation of writing novels (business was never his strong suit).
His newest release, Daughter of The Regiment, is a YA comic adventure about fathers, daughters, and secret missions with muskets. Full of tall tales, intrigue, and larger-than-life characters, it is the first novel in a laugh-out-loud, swashbuckling series.
