I didn't get to start at the beginning of the series, but hopefully it'll come out in trade and I'll catch up then. For now, I'll have to deal with the confusion, which, considering the way the series is done, isn't too hard to manage. Random, weird stuff happens or the characters do random stuff. It's amusing and I do sort of enjoy it the way I would a summer tv series about misfits. It's cute. And so is the art.

This issue was actually not too bad. I liked the girls response to lad culture and the idea of 'smashing it like Henry VIII smashed the Catholic Church'. Think I'm getting used to the fact that there's no overall story arc connecting all the issues together -- although I'm still waiting to figure out what was going on with McGraw at the end of the first issue?

THIS ISSUE IS ACTUALLY COMEDY GOLD. I LOVE IT. I NEED TO DO HOMEWORK BUT GIANT DAYS IS TOO ADDICTIVE

This third volume was the most cohesive yet. The stories all played well together. I like the cliffhanger; it is very fitting of Esther to want to quit.

This volume revolved around the student council. It began with Ed joining the school newspaper. He unearths that the student body president is a rich boy who shirks his duties. His expose blows the lid off that. Of course, it gets the newspaper shut down too. He was romantic with Mandy, the editor, but let's just say, it was a short romance.

That piece of news circulates among the gang. Ed is embarrassed and was basically done for the volume. Susan is convinced to run a candidate for the new student body against the old president. Her candidate will agree to everything the other guy proposes. She goes nuts campaigning and loses McGraw.

Daisy doesn't really get much in the way of a storyline in this volume.

Esther goes to the goth side again to retrieve Susan. Much hilarity in all this.

This is a fun series . . . one I hadn't heard of until recently. Good snow day material.

It's all okay but the series is a bit messy. The inside jokes don't really make sense sometimes and honestly, all the characters are a bit dramatic for my taste. I'm in college and from my experience, most people are pretty mellow or super stressed about studying (aka me).

Yet another great chapter

The story is beginning to get into its rhythm, the realism is excellent, look forward to book 4. I would recommend this to students and those who recall their student days with bitter-sweetness.
