A Kuroneko Journey
Oreimo: Kuroneko continues the story of Ruri Gokou from Oreimo with this volume pretty much concluding the OVA adaptation of the Anime with Kirino returning to Japan. Once again the main strength of this manga it nails the Oreimo characters all their dialogue and interactions are incredibly faithful to the anime and I assume the light novel as well which I haven't read. Art is great the characters are very expressive and the transition to a chibi style for comedic effect works. Of course this is Kuroneko's manga and it's mostly her perspective getting that insight of personal thoughts was great better than the OVAs which is following protagonist Kyosuke. I do have one grip with the manga and that was the sexualizaton of one the scenes with Kuroneko trying to convince Akagi to work on the game with her. When I read that scene it left me scratching my head. Like really? I.don't usually care about that stuff but it was pretty unnecessary and just plain weird like it was added for no reason. As always a must for kuroneko fans. For general Oreimo fans this manga is either hit or miss as it deviates from the original source material later on.

It’s too much needless ecchi in my opinion…

This was a dud. Are we in stretch-out-the-story-mode so we can sell more volumes?

I like this spin-off/sequel more than the original, probably because I like Kuroneko better than sister complex of the first one.
