It's day two of the Tokyo Lockdown with no end in sight. As Kazuya and his friends look for an exit, they rescue a singer named Haru from demons. She gives them a place to stay for the night, but no explanation as to why the demons are after her.
Really like how the mission to save Midori and Beldr's introduction are fleshed out in this volume, I felt like they were rushed in the game since both were squeezed into the same mission/battle.
Love that we got to see more of shoji as she only appears a few times in the game.
The extra short story at the end was cute and gives much more context to why Yuzu is the way that she is and that she's not just a whiny brat for no reason.
Overall this volume was mostly rising action and builds hype leading up to battles that'll take place in Volumes 3 and 4 and I can't wait to read them.
Mini Review: This is based on a video game and I'm just not feeling the love. Too much emphasis on the demons and battles, can't say I'll continue this one.
