This book could be a "Yes!" if you're looking for:

> A broad overview of what it takes to be a songwriter.
> A gentle, yet firm introduction to a wholistic approach to songwriting.

I found The Songwriter's Survival Guide to be a quick, easy read that gives beginning songwriters a good place to start, and established songwriters a solid refresher on the basics.

This book left me feeling: encouraged and capable
