My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review, but I also realized that I do own this too!!! :)
The cover is okay, but not at all what I was thinking the main characters looked like because where are the bulging muscles and red hair.
This is the first book in the series. It is about 127 pages so take your pick whether you call it a novella or a novel because to me it doesn’t matter :) It is for adults only due to the steamy content.
This book started with action from the word go. Chloe is confident in some ways, but she has many walls to keep away the others. Gabriel is a sexy Alpha in every sense of the word. Their story is very well put together. Plenty of action, mystery, intrigue, drama, fighting, and so much more that just pull you into the story until you are at the end saying Wow!! I couldn’t put the book down.
I highly recommend this book to any lovers of shifters especially if you like the idea of fated mates!! I can’t wait to read the next book!!!

Great Start!
I love how the sparks just started flying all over when these two met.
There is so much mystery, who is the handsome Gabe, what does he really want... and Chloe what is she really?? Why is she different, her shift is so unusual and why does the the wolf who bit her want her so badly......These are all questions that Chloe asks herself
So many questions unanswered, Can she trust Gabe, she's never been able to trust anyone except her BFF and she's dead thanks to Mitch the wolf who bit her....
This is a great beginning to what is clearly a very good series and I'm on my way to the next one, I recommend this book, you will not be sorry.

Well done
I enjoyed this story. The characters are believable and very down to earth. Of course there are rival packs and witches. The required jealous wanna be girlfriend is actually very interesting. Wish Gave had not killed off Mitch, his rival, so quickly.

Uuhhm,.... Well, Chloe is not a character that you'll be all warm and fuzzy about. What a way to intro a character for likability... Not! Slutty doesn't even begin to describe it, and I'm not a slut shame reviewer. She'd seriously rival any manwhore character out there & does it all in the most sloppy, unattractive way possible. Ejkk:(
Her reason for her lack of desire for anything more than getting busy with dudes for a couple hours is eventually told, but this reason is just kinda told in an 'ah, yeah, this happened' & then shit just moves along like this wasn't a big deal. So, it wasn't impactful, empathetic, or emotional in any way because of how it's written. Plus, it may explain her lack of desire for relationships, but this reason and her whorish ways are actually quite incongruent.
Not impressed. Didn't like her. Couldn't relate to her. Couldn't even find empathy for her plights in life.

Gabe was way more creepy than alpha anything or another for a good portion of the book. He just shows up and inserts himself as her chauffeur while he makes innuendo that she'll be his and gives her stern 'you better obey' looks as he barks 'stay' and 'do' commands.
Yeah, I wouldn't freak the f out over waking up to find him sitting in my kitchen uninvited after only knowing (and I use that term loosely) him for a week & after saying several times how dangerous he seems. Yoohoo, earth to Chloe?!?
He gets better with the creepy factor. But, I never really feel any connection or likability from his character. He's vanilla, boring, and couldn't find a personality if it crashed into him and padlocked itself to him.
Plot
The first 50% is a lot of blah blah blah kinda fluff. There's a lot of trivial shit in excess. The few plot points that are meaningful in some way are soooooooooo drawn out and spread out that it's really all I can do to get through this book.
After 50%, there's a glimmer of hope as the para storyline starts to spark. A witch turned wolfie is an interesting route.

It's bad when the f'ing pedigree family tree is the most thrilling aspect of the book.
It's the same old same old fated mates and 'holy shit' epiphany out of the wild blue yonder where two people who know JACKSHIT about each other are all "I love you so much."
It's the same jealous sub-par female secondary character that's in love with the Alpha and therefore hates the new girl.
It's the same old bad guy that's a long lost relative.
It's the same old TSTL chick that knows she's being hunted by the bad guy & knows the bad guy knows where to find her .... So, of course, goes straight to said place for some lame ass reason and had to be saved by the big bad Alpha.
AND THEN...
It just ends in the middle of a plot point. No "aha" cliffhanger. No "but" semi-end. No "•" HEA. It just f'ing ends mid-stride through a lull.
I'd laugh, but I can't even muster the give a shit.

Most of the time, hitching was just as safe as anything else. It helped when you didn't have any morals yelling at you about using your body to pay for the ride.

This was a really good read. It wrapped up the main story but left some other things to be answered in future books. Keep in mind though, it ended at a good place and, to me, wasn't a cliffhanger. This is exactly how I like my books. I can't wait to read the next one. Chloe is all alone in the world except for her best friend. Chloe likes to walk home from work at night because she lives close and she takes a short cut through the park. One night she is attacked by a creature that is believed to have been responsible for a previous attack that left some one dead. Fortunately for Chloe, she lives. She knows what she saw was a hughe wolf with yellow eyes. She has severe and enormous claw marks up her back, therefore having to stay in the hospital for several days. When she goes to the doctor for her checkup a few days after her hospital release, the doctor is speechless to find on removal of her bandages, that she is healed. She told him she had experienced severe itching. He decides to draw blood specimens but Chloe is worried about what they will find so she leaves. After the attack, there is always this stranger on a Harley waiting outside her place of work insisting he is there to protect her. Little does she know but Gabe is a werewolf and Alpha to his pack. The place she was attacked in is his territory. He may be hot but he annoies the crap out of her. I'm not going to give anything else away. But they soon find out about Chloe's heritage. Who her mother really was and who her father is that she never knew existed. Oh yeah, and of course, she is now a werewolf due to the attack. Only she shifts different than the others and can run faster

I received an ebook for an honest review. This is a very interesting story of a young woman Chloe Jackson who was a witch who when she had to go through the park home one night she was attacked she wasn't sure what attacked her but when she woke up in the hospital she couldn't really remember much but she kept having a nightmare of running and being attacked she also noticed that her injuries were healing a lot fast than they should have been and by the time she left the hospital she was healed but sore she saw a man watching her and she got a ride home with the cop who took the report on her attack she then spent a little time with him and when she went home her friend Suzie who she lives with Suzie was so wrapped up in the break up with her boyfriend she didn't realize that Chloe hadn't been home Chloe let her know what happened to her she eventually goes back to work and then strange things started happening then she Meets Gabe Denton who is like the Paranormal Law he is a were wolf and he is keeping an eye on her because she was bitten by a werewolf so after she is back at work she doesn't know if she can trust him but she is going to have to trust somebody after Suzie. A very intense romantic suspense. A real page turner keeps you interested until the end. Can't wait to read book2.

The attraction Chloe feels for Gabe is not a good thing for her, not only does she only do one night stands, too many things are happening at once and not in a good way. But as she learns more about what has happened to her and secrets from her past, she grows closer to the alpha and in a dangerous altercation with her stalker from the shadows the mating clicks into place and everything becomes clear.
The reader can’t help but get caught up in all the drama and excitement of this fascinating quick read and the author has added her own spin to witches and wolves that adds some spice to the story. Even though it was too short, I enjoyed Chloe and Gabe’s beginning and I can’t wait to read the sequel and find out what happens next.

"Hot biker and lots of surprises"
Wow this is one of those books that is super interesting from the beginning!. The Harley riding Alpha Gabriel Denton "sigh". A Spunky woman Chloe who gets attacked by a animal. She tries to tell everyone it was a wolf only no one believes her. After Chloe is released from the hospital while walking home she sees a sexy guy working on a Harley across the street. The next day she is woke up to pounding on her door. When she opens the door the sexy Harley guy is there. He says he is a private investigator investigating her attack , and he needs to ask her some questions. Chloe does not know why a PI would be interested in her attack. He asks her several questions then ask if she was bitten or scratched. When she tells him yes he gets kind of excited thanks her and walks away saying he will see her again. Then when Chloe goes back to the Doctor he is shocked as her wounds are completely healed. He wants to run some blood tests. When the Doctor steps out of the room Chloe takes off lol. Just what is happening to Chloe and who is this sexy Harley guy?. Wow this is an amazing book full of suspense,action , humor and amazing Romance you will love it!. This is a must must read book!.

Chloe is a bit of a wild child. After suffering a neglectful childhood at the hands of her unhinged mother, she does not trust easy. She was abused by one of her mothers boyfriends and now she is a strict one night only girl. She doesn't let anyone get close except her room-mate and Harmony, a fellow waitress at the cafe where she works.
But when she is attacked and left for dead one night, she awakens to find that the police think she was attacked by a large animal. But her injuries clear up mighty fast. Then she meets the mysterious Gabriel. He is one hot tamale but when he tells her he is a werewolf and that she was bitten by one, she thinks she has found another nut!!!!
There is a bit of everything in this fast paced story: romance, suspense, drama scary stalkers and..oh yes magic, werewolves and demons!!!
Very well written with great descriptive details and you find yourself sucked into the story. I read each book in the series in one go and back to back.
The characters are very compelling and the bad guys are really easy to hate!!!
My only quibble was i wanted it to be longer!!!!
But when she is attacked and left for dead one night, she awakens to find that the police think she was attacked by a large animal. But her injuries clear up mighty fast. Then she meets the mysterious Gabriel. He is one hot tamale but when he tells her he is a werewolf and that she was bitten by one, she thinks she has found another nut!!!!

Chloe's life is turned upside down first when she is attacked in the park on the way home and then by the loss of someone close to her. Add in a super sexy stranger on a Harley who won't leave her alone and she's not sure which ways up now. When she starts having side effects as a result of her attack she has no choice but to let Gabe (sexy Harley man) help her but what if the attack was just the beginning?
So I liked the characters and I liked the premise as though parts were predictable there was enough mystery to keep me reading and wanting to know not only what happened next but also about the pasts that led to this point. What kept it from being a four for me was some of the actual writing it felt unpolished at times like it maybe needed another sweep by an editor etc which caused me to have to reread parts to make sure I had it correct. Again though the story was interesting and entertaining and it is a short read so was worthwhile for me. This is not a standalone and is part of a 3-part series that should be read in order.

Chloe has just woken up from a horrible nightmare, a nightmare replay of her attack in the park. She was the victim of an animal attack, she swears it was a massive wolf but no one will believe her. Gabriel is the Alpha of his pack and he's investigating Chloe's attack.
The series title of this book was the first thing that grabbed me. And after starting to read this book I got sucked right into this story. There are so many twists and turns, the revelations that come to light are intriguing and leave you wondering where the story will go next. Chloe is such a strong female character and Gabriel is the typical alpha male, I can see these two challenging each other and butting heads in the future books.

Given to me for an honest review. There are many strings (don't know how else to describe them) in this book. I've read other books and the author made a mess of the strings. Ms Alisyn ties all these strings together in a believable way. Meredith teaches at risk teenagers how to grow food. Their building has been bought by a chef who wants the whole building and grounds for his project. Her father has been released from prison and needs a place to stay. Alpha Conroy is one of 10 bears who have to find human females to mate with because the bear clans need new DNA to stop the inbreeding. Brick, one of the at risk teenagers, is having problems with her foster family. Humans know about bears and the bears own businesses and don't make a big deal about it. I promise all of this comes together in a realistic way.

This book could be considered a standalone, even though it is part of a trilogy. The author has presented us with Gabe and Chloe. As Chloe is put through the wringer and back, Gabe is there to guide her. She has many secrets, some of which she doesn’t even know about. As they surface, she has to accept that her life has changed, that she will no longer be the same. I won’t give you all the details, because I think you should truly read this book for yourself. Alexis has created a tale that deviates from the normal paranormal, with many twists and turns that you are never truly certain where the story is headed until it is complete. A wonderful read, and I am definitely looking forward to part two. Well done!

Hot, Original and lots of action
Witches, Wolves and other supernatural beings are in this first book of a new series. Well written and very enjoyable to read. Very original store line with good character interaction. A new twist with a witch becoming a wolf. When she doesn't even know she’s either. And yet someone is out to get her. Will the Hot Local Alpha be able to save her? Good love story with some typical man behavior as well as some non-typical stuff going on. Looking forward to the next book in the series. I have this book from the Fated Mated box set as well as being given a gifted copy from the author.

Gabe Denton is the local packs alpha, and knows that Chloe is telling the truth. He also knows that she will need him and his pack when she goes through her first change, even if Chloe doesn't believe she has been turned into a werewolf. When Gabe takes Chloe to the packs compound for her first change, they are both shocked to find out that Chloe's mother had a shocking secret. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of this series. Great book!

This is the beginning of the series, it has got a proper ending. But the story will carry on from there so you must read the books in order.
Chloe was viciously attacked on her way home from work. She insisted it was a wolf but the doctors and the police won't believe her.
Gabe introduces himself as a PI investigating her attack. He seems to turn up everywhere she goes.
He is not the only one eager to find out the effect of the attack. Her life is about to be turned upside down and she will lose the only person she cares about.
Our heroine has a lot to learn about herself and the world she lives in.
A short but action packed story. I will be reading the next very soon.

Chloe thought everything was fine with her living day by day until she was attacked by a wolf. Gabe says he is a PI investigating her attack but he is really the Alpha of the wolf shifters in town. Chloe doesn't want to believe him when he tells her what she is but when she starts her first shift he comes to help her. During this time we learn about her past and also Gabe's. These two dance around the attraction to each other until the wolf who changed her comes back. Also they must deal with jealousy from a member of their pack. This book ends in a HFN, but the next two parts are all ready published so you don't have to wait to read.

What a fast paced story with lots of twists and turns. Chloe is attacked by a wild animal, soon Gabe comes on the scene, asking questions about the attack. Sparks stat to fly between them. Why did this happen to her and what does Gabe have to do with it. Chloe must work out her knew life while being stalked by the animal that turned her. Will these two fated mates find peace or will Chloe's past come back to haunt them. I was captured by this story from the beginning. ai give it 5 stars

Wow. I haven't read a paranormal romance lately, so when this was offered to me I grabbed it! Honestly this book grabs you by the seat of your pants and you gotta run to keep up! The storyline of this book was intense. The concept of this poor girl being thru everything she's been thru. I gotta hand it to Alexis, this storyline was amazing and amusing. The characters throughout the book are great. They pull at your heartstrings and make you laugh at the same time. I'm stoked to begin book 2.

Chloe Jackson was attacked by an unknown animal and now her world is falling apart from the attack and her roommates death. Gabriel Denton comes into Chloe's life to help her but she does not let him get too close to her. Can the 2 work together to help ease her past and get on in the future.
The author wrote an entertaining story. I loved the characters and their interaction in this book. The story line flow was smooth from the start of the book to the end.

Although I love the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs, I haven't read a lot of shifter books so this is kind of fresh to me. I liked this book more and more as I got deeper into it. There is a strong heroine in danger, a hunky alpha protector, and the mystery of who is out to get her and for what purpose. Chloe has had to deal with many shocking surprises in a short time, including her new relationship with Gabe. I expect book 2 will draw me in even deeper.

I was given this book for an honest review. I really enjoyed this story and am anxious to see what happens in book 2. Chloe, unknowingly a born witch gets attack by an animal she swears is a wolf. She is starting to notice some changes in her that seem a little off but for the most part she is ok with. Gabe, a mechanic by trade and a private investigator on the side is watching Chloe and comes to her rescue more than once. They end up at his compound where more changes take place and they find themselves fated mates.

I was given this book for an honest review. This is the first time I read from this author. It is a well written book. The characters are slowly developed in this book. There seems to be twists a lot in this book but they make you understand the story and the characters background better. She writes good sexual scenes the are not very graphic in this book but she eludes you to thinking more about the scene. There is some violence but not very graphic. There are happy and sad parts to this book. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Fast read. The love part seems forced. The entire book needs another editing run through. The hero...well I do love a Harley man. Both main characters don't seem real to me. We are given information about them and told what they are and what happened in their past. They would have been better characters if we had been shown the story. For example, the pack doc tells them your mother was a witch. The story would have come alive if Chloe had read the doc's resources and made the discovery herself. Also, this is just the first book in the a series.

I loved how the first time she saw Gabe instantly things got heated. He's the Alpha of the local werewolf pack and he's in charge of making sure she doesn't hurt anyone during her first change. Not everyone is happy with the newest addition into the pack.

This is a quick read as far as the story line goes. Of course it cuts off and you don't find out the ending but it keeps you interested. The sex scenes are pretty pg but you get the idea. The details behind the characters could've been more detailed to get you to connect with them but it was just enough. Kind of confusing towards the end when she turned bashful I was hoping something would be brought out about why.
