Hunters and Wolves have been enemies for generations - but what happens when a hunter is your true mate?

Steel knows the answer to that question, because his mate might be a hunter, but she's intelligent, cunning, and drop-dead sexy - everything he's ever wanted and everything the pack needs in the mate of the alpha.

Convincing her might be difficult, but he's alpha for a reason. This Red is about to find out how persuasive a big, bad Wolf can be.

Another interesting twist in the series

I was really excited for this book, cause I dig the Alphas! Steel wasn't exactly as dominate as I had hoped. I get that part of it was the situation with Regan, but it just wasn't what I wanted from him. When I think back over the series, he hasn't been all to bossy as most Alpha wolves, he is way more chill than I prefer.

I do like that we are back to the mixed POV, it helps understand the motives of both characters. Regan is coming from a dark place and it takes a lot of understanding on Steel's part. This definitely slowed the pace of the story.

The steam was smexy as usual, once they connect it is deliciously hawt! I could have used a but more in the dirty talk department, but other than that it is plenty hot and heavy!

I hope this isn't the end for the series! I want more!!

So I woke up in the middle of the night, figuring I had slept enough, and I could finish the book before work. That pretty much sums up my reaction to this novella. The only reason I did not give the full 5 stars, is because I'm annoyingly picky, and since our heroine was brainwashed her entire life, I needed more than 48 hours for her to jump the hero, true mates or not.

Steel: Blue Collar Wolves #3Ronin Winters

Reviewed by SFF Dragon

A great addition to this series, but the path of true love doesn't always run smooth, as Steel found out when Regan tried to kill him.

'Steel' is the third book in the Blue Collar Wolves series by Ronin Winters and I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. It is also the 17th book to be published as part of the multi-author Mating Season Collection of stand alone paranormal romances.

I really enjoyed this story about werewolf pack Alpha, Steel and his human fated mate, Regan. Unfortunately for Steel, it isn't going to be all wine and roses because Regan... well... she's a werewolf hunter and they met last night, when she tried to kill him as he was leaving his friend Iron's bar.

I'm not going to give any spoilers, but this short paranormal romance had me hooked from beginning to end. It has a little action, but not much and that was more in the nature of a recap, a steamy bit or two, humour, happy bits, sad bits and lots twists and turns, before they eventually get their HEA. But they do get one in the end. I loved all the characters except one and that one will be obvious when you read the book. I really felt for Regan and the life she and her younger sister, Berthie, had been forced to live. I was so happy for her when she got a future filled with love that my partner wanted to know why I was wearing a goofy smile. This is definitely a book you should read and I highly recommend it. I love this series and can't wait for the next one.

Steel is the alpha of his pack. He has watched his men/brothers make mistakes with their mates always vowing if he was ever blessed with his mate he would do it the right way. But that is a guy to do when he is handed a beautiful hunter has a mate?
Regan was raised by her drunken mean father to be a hunter. Because her mother was taken from them by a wolf and the nightmare of her mom's fate.
Talk about opposites. These two should be enemies and yet they are fated for each other.
Great storyline and lot's of drama. Love the characters and how the story builds on each other with awesome twists. It's a wonderful series you will not be disappointed. I can't wait for the next book.
Book given for an honest review and I honestly loved it

I was given a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review by author Ronin Winters. Steel is book 3 in The Blue Collar Wolves series and part of the Mating Season Pack Series. The author give us the story of Steel and Regan, he is the alpha of the pack and she is a hunter but also his true mate. What?, yes that's true! I will not tell you anything else because I don't want to ruined the plot but let me just say to you that Steel is my new Book Boyfriend. I really enjoyed this charming story and can't wait for more of the Blue Collar Wolves. Enjoy the read!

3) Big hunky Alpha STEEL has Regan chained to his bed. She's a hunter, and knows nothing about the real facts of wolves. He must educate her, and also persuade her to stay, because she is his fated mate. Her dad has drilled into her brain all her life that wolves are bad. Now that she sees for herself this is wrong, she begins to change her mind. They are both drawn to each other, deep bonding, and hot sex. Steel must set her free because he loves her too much to keep her prisoner. She MUST come back on her own. Deep characters we like right away, interesting plot, and super sexiness make this story worthwhile. ENJOY !!!

The third in the Blue Collar Wolves series, "Steel" focuses on the true mate bonding of Alpha wolf Steel and the female Hunter who'd been captured by him in Iron's bar in the first book. For an Alpha wolf, Steel is surprisingly understanding and laid back, and his personality somehow doesn't click for me with his standing in the Pack. Don't misunderstand, I'm not expecting asshole-ish behaviors, but some dominance would be nice.

Overally, a good addition to the series. Moving on to Book 4.

I received this book for free from the Author for an honest review.

Steel had some major obstacles with his mate. his wasn't as easy as the others. he had a better understanding of Iron's strengths. he had some major decisions to make and I am happy he made the right ones. by letting Red go she was able to realize that he was what she wanted. and came back to him. I can't wait to see what Ronin will have them go thru next.

To Love a Wolf

Steel is the Alpha of the Blue Collar Wolves. He has always wanted his true mate. Someone to share is burdens, pack and love with. Reagan is a hunter. Her mother was taken from her at a young age. Her dad became a mean drunk and forced her to become a hunter. This is their story. Will love allow these true mates to overcome their past? Great story.

Man, I love all the wolves in Blue Collar Wolves! I love how there is an on going story mixed in with the love story for the couples. I love how in just a few pages you feel like you've read a full length novel!!! That is how awesome Mrs. Winters is at story telling. Another great addition to the Mating Season series.

Steel: Blue Collar Wolves #3

There gotta be another part to this. We didn't see what happened with the rival wolves, if she worked things out with her mom. Gotta have a follow up.

Shifter read - no cliffhanger.

Kindle Unlimited book - standalone book in series. 3 1/2 star read for me. He's the alpha...she's a hunter. Of course she would be mate.

The alpha finally finds his mate but she is more than he bargained for.
Love these characters but overpriced for the number of pages.
I have owned these books for ages and had reviewed them previously but a lot of reviews written directly from the back of a book have disappeared. I thought I would review them as I was rereading them for the third time.
I am really loving this series but they are just so short. Boo Hoo.
Poor Steel, he finds his True Mate at long last but finds she is a Hunter, a wolf's enemy.
Keeping Reagan prisoner was funny because even then she was his equal.
The ending when Reagan found out the truth about her mother was sad.
