Kennedi.. or should I say whatever her name is, is a complete lunatic! I cannot believe lengths she went to just to be with a man. Like when do you say enough is enough? Did she even think that? Like ever… the daughter, her mom, and her life. Omg her lifeeeee.

Charlotte.. baby your life was literal turmoil. I am glad that she met Nina but that went south so quick. I just cannot believe she was living a lie and under force. It was crazy if you ask me..

This is the chaos I needed in my life. Some refreshing drama filled folks 😂😂 y’all read about Kennedi and Charlotte. Promise you won’t regret it.

This was a wild ride. There were secrets around every corner. Just when you think you know all the secrets something else is revealed. Some of the characters were so outlandish that you couldn't help but laugh. For instance Sonny jumping on the bed singing Staying Alive after drugging Charlotte. He is just pure crazy. Kennedi was so desperate to go from mistress to wife that when Malcolm was severely injured in the car fire she created a whole new life to keep him from remembering his old one. A lot of lessons learned in this one. China learned that sometimes one's circumstances can turn you into someone you don't want to be. Kennedi learned the value of motherhood. Although Kennedi took quite a few losses she still came out on top with another man rescuing her from her current situation. Charlotte got the short end of th stick. She went from cheating husband to a psycho to almost a new love back to the cheating husband. Her character was pretty weak. Which was repeated throughout the book by some of the strong female characters. I would like to see in part 2 (if there is a next book) her turn the tables and really develop strength of character, bravery, and self worth. Her taking out Sonny maybe the beginning of a new Charlotte. This was a good book that I refused to put down.

DC's Finest Pens Another Great One

Miss KP can definitely write. So she gets the extra star for a well written book. The story was pretty good, but I never put two-and-two together that this story stemmed from Paparazzi. I read Paparazzi so long ago. So I wish I had realized that and maybe I would have re-read it before reading this one. Because as I read the story, I felt like there was something missing or more to the story; and now I realize why. Overall I enjoyed the story now that I can remember a little of Kennedi and Malcolm's story. I am looking forward to the next installment. #UptownDC

Omg how could it end like that? Is Malcolm dying all over again? Will Kennedi actually be able to have that perfect fantasy life she's always dreamed off? It was a heart warming feeling at the end when Milan woke up, and China began trusting her mom. It was cute. Sonny was a sadistic monster, but again I've read and seen people do worse for ‘love'. Hopefully there will be a second part coming soon.

Action packed read but the editing issues along with the need for more character development kept my rating average.
