Hey, I was sitting outside a lawyer’s office waiting for a friend who’d already called to say they were running late, and I thought… why not use the time to write a filthy little billionaire romcom?
Something short, hot, funny, and easy to devour in one sitting.
So here it Off Limits.
She spilled coffee on the billionaire boss. Then she decided she wanted to spill a whole lot more.
Claire Bennett knows getting involved with Alexander Kane is a terrible idea. He’s older, obscenely rich, completely off limits. And unfortunately, exactly her type.
A promotion, a jealous billionaire, one stopped elevator, and a whole lot of bad decisions later, staying professional is no longer looking very likely.
Off Limits is a filthy little age-gap billionaire boss romance designed to be read in one sitting.
This is a quick to the point story about fraternizing with the boss. Or the boss taking the company policy out for a spin, I guess. Either way, don’t read this looking for massive character developments. Heck, you don’t even get the mean girl’s name until 30% in (just monikers basically). Just good (good and spicy), clean (not really), wholesome (a whole lot of something) fun. Recommended reading while in line at the coffee shop. Don’t forget to laugh so loud that the people behind you check to see what you’re reading. Good times await!

Off Limits by Jess Cooke sounds like the perfect steamy little escape! I love a good billionaire boss romance, and this one has all the ingredients for a fun, spicy read: an age gap, forbidden attraction, workplace tension, and a billionaire who is way too tempting to resist. Claire and Alexander’s setup promises plenty of chemistry, tension, and bad decisions that make you want to keep turning the pages. Add a coffee-spilling first encounter, a jealous billionaire, and a stopped elevator, and you have the makings of an entertaining, swoony romance! I especially love that this is designed to be read in one sitting. Overall, Off Limits was a quick, spicy story that delivers the heat without a huge time commitment.

Off Limits was exactly the kind of quick, spicy escape I was in the mood for. From the very beginning, the attraction between Claire Bennett and Alexander Kane is impossible to ignore. He's older, rich, successful, and completely off limits for all the reasons that should matter. Unfortunately for Claire, he's also exactly the kind of man she can't stop thinking about.
What I enjoyed most was how straightforward the story felt. It doesn't get buried under unnecessary drama or complicated subplots. Instead, it focuses on the chemistry between the characters and lets that carry the story. The attraction is immediate, but it never felt forced. Every interaction pushes them closer to a line they both know they shouldn't cross.
Alexander is exactly what I want from a billionaire romance hero. He's confident without being boring, protective without being overbearing, and fully aware of what he wants. Once his attention lands on Claire, it's obvious he's not interested in looking anywhere else. I also appreciated that Claire wasn't written to simply fall at his feet. She has her own personality, her own ambitions, and enough self-awareness to recognize how messy the situation could become.
The age-gap and boss-employee dynamics added just enough tension to keep things interesting without taking over the story. There were plenty of moments that made me smile, and the banter helped balance the steamier scenes. The pacing is fast, which worked perfectly for this type of romance. It feels like the author knew exactly what readers were here for and delivered it without overcomplicating things.
This isn't a book packed with emotional angst or life-changing revelations. It's fun, flirty, and designed to be read in one sitting. Sometimes that's exactly what I need: a confident billionaire, undeniable chemistry, and two people making decisions they know are probably a bad idea but making them anyway.

A fun, flirty, and spicy little billionaire romance that was perfect for reading in one sitting! Claire and Alexander have great chemistry, and I loved the age-gap, forbidden boss romance with all its tempting bad decisions, humour, and steamy moments. Between the billionaire boss, the workplace tension, and the stopped elevator, there’s plenty to keep things entertaining.
If you’re looking for a quick, hot, and funny romance that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this one is definitely worth picking up. An enjoyable little read for fans of steamy billionaire romances!.

Off limits is a cheeky little read, guaranteed to be finished in one sitting. It includes popular tropes of age gap, billionaire romance and workplace romance.
It was a fun read that was fast paced and well developed for a novella story.
Claire is a refreshing character as her attitude is pretty spunky and blunt. Which will have you laughing out loud. Paired with Alexander whom is hot and cold. The chemistry is undeniable, leaving Alexander to actually make a choice and give in.
Great read if you’re short on time or in a slump and need to kick start your reading again.

This book is a fun, flirty, and deliciously spicy billionaire romance that I completely devoured in a single sitting!
Claire and Alexander have unbelievable chemistry from the start. I’m a huge fan of age-gap, forbidden boss romances, and this one hit all the right notes with its tempting bad decisions, playful humor, and super steamy moments.
Between the brooding billionaire boss, the high-stakes workplace tension, it delivers non-stop entertainment. If you're looking for a quick, fast-paced, high-heat page-turner to break a reading slump, buy this immediately!
This book was so fun! "Off Limits" was a spicy office age gap romance. The characters and plot were well developed considering it was such a short book. I really enjoyed this read and recommend it to short story romance lovers.

Claire just wants to keep her job, but them seem to cutting people left and right. The fiery looks between her and her boss Alexander give her hope. Their story is full of push and pull, hot and cold, one minute he can't keep his hands to himself, the next he's ignoring her. When she pushes back and entertains the idea of another man, Alexander finally breaks his code.

Off Limits is a fast paced work place romance which takes place over a week or so. The pacing is quick with their interactions and the ending. A good story for an in between bite (read). I really enjoyed the interactions and quick wit from both characters.

This is a short steamy read. Alex is the billionaire boss who is trying to keep business and his attraction to Claire separate. The more they work together the harder that becomes. Inevitably they come to a cusp where they have to either break the rules or stop working together so closely. This was a very steamy read.
