Not gonna lie I was nervous on how this story was gonna play out, would Lo go through with it, will Ali get it together? The questions were burning me up but I love the way Cion Lee pulled it together
My only issue was the boom felt a little dragged out by still I enjoyed it

I wanted to love part 2
I skipped pages and once I got to 61% I had to stop. I hate to say it, but DNF. The book dragged.

The Perfect Amount of Mess, Love, and Passion! 💋🔥
Whew, this was fun! This is the second series I’ve read from this author, and she always delivers the perfect amount of mess without overshadowing the love story. Armias and Lourdes’ connection felt like kismet from the beginning, and BABY, the chemistry was chemistrying! 😂 What was supposed to be a little “yeah, yeah” situation organically turned into something serious, and I loved watching it unfold.
The drama, the family dynamics, the jealousy, and the way Lourdes started matching energy when certain people came around? Baby, I was entertained! 😂 I also loved how Armias embraced Lourdes’ soft-girl nature. He encouraged it, nurtured it, and met her where she was. Their love was full of passion, devotion, and genuine connection. They were such a great couple to read!
And we have to talk about his mama, Rahesha, because that woman was HILARIOUS! I know plenty of women like her. She was definitely ignorant at times, but her character development was top-tier. I’m glad she finally got a clue! 😂
This story had love, action, drama, passion, and just enough mess to keep me invested. Everything came together beautifully, and I had such a good time with this couple. Two snaps for doing your big one!

this was amazing!
This was a 4.5🌟! This book was so well written in my opinion. I loved every plot point and everything wrapped up so beautifully. I know ppl had their hangups with Lourdes, but truthfully speaking I was on her side one jump. No she shouldn’t have lied, but that man took it too far making me genuinely not care for what she did. I loved the fact that they came back together gradually and not rushed. I will say I think there was a lot of unnecessary detail in terms of background character backstory, but I still think this fleshed out nicely

a perfect ending to a good series
Cion put her foot in this! It was soooo good! Armias and Lourdes had me stressed out! Too much outside influences on Armias and Lourdes was definitely standing on business when it came to taking care of herself. Naz, Lyss, and Rahesha wore on my nerves bad throughout the story. I really felt for Lyss though. Jealousy will really cause you to lose everything. This was a great series. I really enjoyed it!

This is my first time reading books by this author. I liked the first book and wanted to see where the second book would go. However, this second book fell short for me. I ended up skipping pages because there were a lot of long conversations and people in this book that didn’t seem to add to the story at all. Although some of the conversations were good they just seemed long-winded for me. I got to 54% and I had to stop.

This book ended in a dramatic but good way that wrapped up the story of Lourdes and Armias. The journey of them two getting back together was a lil rocky & jumped started some drama but honestly lowkey they didn’t waste no time reconciling and getting back together. There was a lot of drama in this book that was very entertaining in my opinion. There was also a couple of jaw dropping moments for various reasons. It definitely kept me hooked and entertained.

No Love
I really liked this book but it was a lot of over explaining. Every time a new character was mentioned, no matter how small their role was, there was a long drawn out unnecessary introduction of them. Every single outfit had to be overly explained as well as places they went to. It was too much and so annoying. Other than that I loved the story. Armias is everything!

I loved everything about this book! Cion was in her Goyard bag with this one, it was sooo good, the spice, the drama, the mess!! I loved Armias and Lourdes and the crazy ass family . It was definitely a good time with them, 500 pages but ate this up in a day! 10/10 NO NOTES 🤏🏾🤏🏾

This was the perfect follow up to the first part. I love how the FMC and MMC evolved through their story. You could feel the love. I enjoy seeing old characters from previous books and I look forward to Kai and Lucky getting their love stories too.

Was a long read but was put together nicely! Ali didn’t play about his woman especially when it came to his mama!! Love when these mother in laws from hell are put in their place
