Today, the whole world knows him as Magneto, the most radical champion of mutant rights that mankind has ever seen. But in 1935, he was just another schoolboy -- who happened to be Jewish in Nazi Germany. The definitive origin story of one of Marvel's greatest icons begins with a harrowing struggle for survival against the inexorable machinery of Hitler's Final Solution.

The beginning of it all, the beginning of the oppression of a nation. The beginning of the revolutionary sparks in Magneto's life. The teaching of his father that they are family, and should stand for each other, and should think of each other, and survive which he carried into his fight for mutant rights. The beginning of a legendary love that will come to fruition with marriage, and children. Beautiful... 2018 Read.
I'll be true here. I have no idea who Magneto is.😂So understanding this comic was a little hard for me. But I think I'm getting the hang of it. I guess I'll know more about him once I read the remaining issues of this comic. Hehe.
a beautiful tragic beginning to the backstory of Magneto. Max (Erik), is a weak boy living in the early age of the Third Reich in Nazi Germany. He slowly develops his X-Gene, and wins a competition that is stripped away from him for being a Jew.

Wonderful introductory story about amazing Magneto. Greg Pak is a master writer so it reads so smoothly that pages just fly so fast and you wish for more. Highly recommended!
