Mallory planned to help out with the Thanksgiving parade, but things got weird. That’s when Kyle finds himself in another one of his usual, unusual situations. This time he decides he needs to call in some friends for help. Luckily for him, Flint and Greg have been traveling around, looking for places that are more accepting of the unusual, so are ready and willing to aid Kyle with his latest discovery.

Float is a Thanksgiving special in the Kyleverse, a series of sentient object romance short stories. Kyle isn’t the main character, but he shows up to help the plot in one way or another. This story contains characters from the main series. For the best experience, it is recommended to read Lit prior to reading Float, as the main characters are the same.

This was a really fun one. As always, we've got healthy doses of ridiculous banter, and this Thanksgiving special delivers spice and a novel cursed object for Kyle and the gang (this time it's Flint and Greg) to help out. I really liked the reverse size difference, where Mallory is the giant one and the guys are small!! Kyle dives in head first, very enthusiastically.

Once again Author Nicole Parker has me thinking to myself …why is this so hot ?!

Did I need a sentient parade float…yea. Yea, actually I did.

But also lowkey I will be side eyeing all the floats from the Thanksgiving Day parade from here on out!

The way this author sets this story up… honestly I adored it!

It’s always so much fun to see familiar faces and I love when they get added into a whole new equation!

I don’t know what I do more when I read these novellas… crack up laughing or fanning myself… honestly it’s probably a tie!

I adored our FMC, and leading float-lady Mallory… and I have a feeling that her shape shifting story is just beginning to something even bigger!

And of course this trio of hotness that came to her rescue… I mean you have a vampire, a ex-candelabra, and our ride or die bestie Kyle… you know it’s gonna be a good time.

It’s short. It’s spicy. It’s full of sentient goodness!

Currently deeply in love with a shape changing parade balloon, vampire, former candelabra and a Kyle.

Absolutely AMAZING entry to the Kyleverse and j floated (lol) through it with glee. There’s banter, there’s snark, there’s acrobatic explicit and tasty spice, consensual kink and Kyle in a Thanksgiving parade (in my head, it’s the Macy’s parade, do not burst my bubble). Which makes me thinks of Thanksgiving. And that makes me think of how freaking thankful I am to Nicole Parker for creating these stories.

I would like to let you all know that I read this book in line at Disney. I was so paranoid someone was going to look over my shoulders and wonder wtf was happening… but my kindle case has an octopus holding neon d!ld0s on it so I guess it’s expected of me 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
I had such a good time read this! I feel like this is the first time there were more than 3 playing together??? I could be wrong either way the group scenes were executed perfectly!
I love how Kyle was just trotting around in the thanksgiving day parade and nobody questioned it. This is going to be a fantastic spicy novella to enjoy this holiday season! Anybody who loves the Kyle verse will love this book!

Kyle is up to his shit again! This time he's in the Thanksgiving's day parade with a sentient turkey leg balloon.
I always appreciate the variety of which previous pairs that end up in future stories, and this one is exceptional, with Greg, the vampire, and Flint, the candlestick!

Well, this was another fun addition to the Kyleverse series and it's based around Thanksgiving. While we don't generally do Thanksgiving parades in Canada, I really appreciated the twists in this one. I'll definitely be watching all parade floats with a keener eye, from now on, that's for sure ;P The heat and humour were so well balanced I don't know if I giggled more or fanned myself more. What a great place to be in when reading a book ;D This was fabulously entertaining and just a whole lot of fun. Definitely recommend :D

A great holiday special from the Kyle verse. Mallory finds herself in a fun situation when Kyle asks for some help from his friends. I always love the mix of new and old characters coming together (pun intended) for some new adventures. Another perfect read from Nicole with more supernatural characters coming to town.
