Ohhhh, this book definitely took you on an emotional ride!!!…It also had me a screaming and clutching my pearls at the audacity of Kaisen!!!…Talk about DELUSIONAL, baby he played his part, even though he didn’t know it!!!…He was giving this description of Amai as if he was not describing himself!!!…
Mrs Odette was not playing with Winston and she allowed him to suffer slowly with a smile on her face!!!…I knew she was tired and she was going to play the long game!!!…Winston stayed evil and uncaring til his last breath, but baby, Odette said I got’cho!!!…
Delphine was a woman of STRENGTH and FAITH!!!…She continued to spk life into Amai, every single time he was breaking!!!…She fed him when he was hungry, placed strategy in his mind when he was too emotional to think, she gave him a place to rest his mind when his fuel was running low!!!…She let him know that Truth was depending on him and he did not get to give up!!!…

Amazing

This finale was greatly anticipated and although Kaisen spoke on his plans in book three, to actually see the extent of his delusional thinking had me stuck. He carried out his mission and each page hearing his mind justify that he was saving Truth and Trumai from Amai, when like she told him, he was worse than Amai. Amai didn't hide who he was but knew when to display and when it wasn't necessary. Kaisen moved immediately and continuously in deceit from day one. It's forgotten that Amai sought the surrogate, not Kaisen. I couldn't put it down and read into the wee hours because like Truth, I knew Amai was coming. It was no way he wasn’t.
Winston, well I can't say I'm sorry one bit. I imagined Odette doing just that when only she was caring for him. Good girl 👌🏽
Hey, where are Syx and Khmara(?) Is Syx ok? I don’t trust her at all.
I loved Delphine 😍 I loved how she was the best and strongest influence and love to Amai. She was just what he needed and it was a joy watching her settle the demon to a respectable and strong father, husband, son and friend. I loved this ending!!

This was truly like a movie in book form! Loved it!

This finale was definitely worth the wait! Amai proved with actions just how much he loved Truth and Trumai! Kaisen was certifiable and should have been in a mental hospital! In the end both Kaisen and Winston met with a horrible fates. I got so mad at times that I wanted to throw my kindle, Kaisen was making me so mad! Odette was fed up and took things into her own hands! Priest was a true friend and brother! The Renois women never lost hope and Mama Renois did not play! In the end it all worked out favorably for Truth and Amai! I loved it Brickhouse, excellent series!

It started out slow but I knew you were going hit us with the hammer and you didn’t disappoint lets start with kaisen is it bad that I see where he’s coming from being compared to your siblings will drive you to do crazy things just to be seen but my brother took it too far and odette did her big one with Winston lol I knew she was up to no good when she kept giving him that tea to bad for him and truth mama was raw and uncut with holding her family together we need more parents like her

Truth turned out to be more than a damsel in distress. I felt bad for Kaisen, but he honestly brought this on himself. He built this life that wasn’t his to have. Kaisen needed worst done to him he been tripping the whole series. Mama Truth don’t play about her girls. Seeing Amai really and truly put his pride to the side to bring his family home was the highlight. Shout out to Truth though those mother’s instincts kicked in and she did what she needed to do for her daughter. She had me a lil iffy all season but she redeemed herself.

A man like Amai

Everyone needs an Amai! He wasn’t the demon everyone he thought he was at home. Truth and Renois family is exactly what he needed to realize he could live like a normal man. I knew Odette was doing what she was doing and I ain’t mad at her. Should’ve been done it. Winston was a piece of work. I need a story on Raven and Priest now. I felt for Kaisen, but he knew better too. Loved this series.

This series was excellent. Very detailed. I'm in love with Amai. And the way Kaisen died still has my jaw on the floor. Winston got what he deserved for sure. And I will always love the relationships between Truth and her sisters and them with their mother.
