Once Mossad’s deadliest assassin, Jet is headed for a new, quiet life in a tropical paradise. But when a mysterious, handsome agent with no tradecraft but with brilliant blue eyes asks for her help to secure a new stealth weapon, she finds she just can’t say no.
This addition to the JET Kindle World combines breakneck pacing and non-stop action with wry humor. based on the characters and world created by bestselling author Russell Blake.
After a 20-year career in journalism, he turned to writing fiction. "Sam, the Strawb Part," a children's story, came out in 2011, with all the proceeds going to an autism charity. Next was a paranormal short story for grown-ups, "Dark Clouds."
The Bones of the Earth, a historical fantasy, came out in 2012. It was followed in 2013 with One Shade of Red, an erotic romance.
The Eastern Front trilogy tells the true story of Maurice Bury, a Canadian drafted into the USSR’s Red Army to face the German invasion of the Soviet Union. Army of Worn Soles, the first volume, was published in 2014, followed by Under the Nazi Heel in 2016 and Walking Out of War in 2017.
Scott Bury has been invited to contribute to three Kindle Worlds. For the Jet Kindle World, based on a character created by bestseller Russell Blake, he published Jet – Stealth: A Jet Kindle World Novella in July 2015.
The same week, he published Torn Roots: A Lei Crime Kindle World Novella featuring characters created by bestselling Hawaii crime author Toby Neal. He has since published three more Lei Crime Kindle World books: Palm Trees & Snowflakes (December 2015), Dead Man Lying (2016) and Echoes (2017).

This book is a great addition to the JET Kindle World books. Never a dull moment with Jet (Maya). She thought she was going to a relaxing tropical oasis until she gets involved with a handsome agent who asks her for her help. This book is very well written with non stop heart stopping thriller action with a touch of fun. A great cast of characters who never stopped to amaze me. I loved every minute of this book and had a hard time putting it down. I so hated to see it end.
Cancun, Mexico airport. Maya (1st. class flight attendant) was on her final destination flight to the Port of Spain, Trinidad & finally Tobago. A gunman/high-jacker had other plans; Columbia. He had been shot/killed. The co-piolet & a flight attendant was dead also. 1 other passenger was seriously wounded.
The Captain announced they were going to make an emergency landing at the Chetuma, Mexico airport. Maya & the wounded passenger were in the ambulance. Maya took off running after the ambulance stopped. Jess (aka Maya, Annie, aka Jet) met Van (aka Billy, Pete, agent) at the hotel. The 2 took care of most of the assailants & then decided it might be best to vacate the hotel. Jet made a call & the 2 of them were headed for Cancun. More cartel thugs trying to kill them.
Change of plan Belize. What will happen next?
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. All thoughts & opinions are entirely my own.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written adventure (short story) book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great adventure movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

What a great, action-packed novella! Jet is trying to start her new life of anonymity, when, on the last leg of hop-skipping all over the world to avoid detection, her plane is hijacked! How did someone get a gun on board in this day and age? Of course, she jumps into action, taking down the gunman, but trouble comes to her from behind with a second hijacker. Egads! It’s the scruffy surfer dude who was seated behind her who comes to her rescue! Their ensuing adventures are, as is usual for Jet, tense. Read this! If you like Van and LeBrun in the story, check out Bury’s other novellas in the Sydney Rye KW: The Wife Line and The 3-Way. In fact, read ANYTHING by Scott Bury!
If action, interesting characters, a little romance, and lots more action is your thing, then grab this short thriller, settle down in your favorite chair, with your favorite drink and snacks, turn off your phone, and be ready for one action packed adventure!
Beginning with a plane hijack – or attempted hijack – and a mystery pistol that will revolutionize weapons and make no place safe – a highly trained woman agent and one sexy guy dressed as if he’s been hiking with no money – and their attempt to escape cartel agents who seem to be everywhere – make this one incredible piece of writing.
Outstanding addition to Jet's world. Trying to catch a break Maya/Jet is caught in a skyjacking. Her new tag along, Van/Billy, is a surfer type guy with revenge on his mind. A new undetectable weapon is in the wrong hands and the new team is set to keep it away from the Cartel. I was given this book by the author
I really wanted to love this, but just couldn't. In addition to a few errors that a good beta-reader would have caught, I feel like there just wasn't the character development of the other of Bury's works that I've read or the other Kindle World novellas that I've read.
