Rigid productivity queen,
meet prank-loving chaos monger.

Can he wait for God to lead the way?
Can she stop trying to map it all out?

Janie Scott has the next ten years planned to perfection: top grades, law school, then child advocacy in Thailand. God’s been radio silent since that vision, but Janie can take it from here. Research says she’ll need friends. Fine. Her resume needs a Speech and Debate club. She’s on it. Task three: avoid Mav—Kit’s brother, resident prankster, and relentless enemy of Janie’s peace.

Mav Talbot craves friends as radical for Jesus as he is. Austin Scott is one, so Mav will be steering clear of his fiercely guarded sister. But Austin himself talks Mav into co-leading her club, Kit’s crew ropes them all into weekly “family” dinners, and Mav’s fellow Flooders pull Janie into their orbit. Traitors, every one of them.

Mav’s delight-filled faith meets its other half in Janie’s disciplined devotion, and their teamwork is an inconvenient masterpiece. They spar like Jim and Dwight, but Mav has the nerve to make even Janie’s sharp edges feel lovable.

Continent-sized problem: Janie’s future is waiting in Thailand. She won’t drag Mav across the world. He respects her dream too much to ask her to stay. Neither will sacrifice obedience for the other, but how can they let each other go?

How do we find our calling?
What do we do in the meantime?

💛Anytime, Scottie💛

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK.
I've said it before I'll say it again: Kristina Welch is one of my favorite authors ever
I love how she writes and what she includes in her writing
I haven't read many other contemporary Christian romances but I've heard that they can be really cringey. The Mayberry University series, however, is definitely not. It's wholesome and swoony and funny all at the same time. The characters deal with real life problems and grow in their faith in encouraging ways. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEMMM

Now
I did predict this to be my favorite one of the series (mostly bc of Mav and how much I have adored him from his brief appearance in Anything)
Andddd . . .
Honestly I don't know I think I still might like Anywhere the best 😱😱
(I mean Austin and Sophie are just my favorite bsfr)
But also there was one reason why I didn't enjoy this one as much (still loved it ofc) and why it wasn't 5 stars
And that reason is oh my gosh the whole first half felt like reading 100 different inside jokes that I didn't understand
I think Kristina writes very realistically and like, if I was just in a random college dorm and somebody handed me an "emergency haiku" I'd just take it and be like "oh okay this is just something we do haha funny nice thanks love that won't ask any questions"
but as the reader I had no FLIPPIN clue what was going on half the time
I was like
WHATS AN EMERGENCY HAIKU WHAT AM I READING
(lol I js went back to my kindle and yep I highlighted emergency haiku and my note says "what isssss this *sobbbinggg*" 😂😭 yeah that was me in the moment)
There were random comments and situations that literally had me so confused because I FOR REAL did not in the slightest understand what the heck was going on
Like a character would just say something out of nowhere and AGAIN irl this is prolly how life goes but in the book I needed way more context and explanation
So yeah like I'm not even lying the whole first half of the book I was pretty much just trying to figure life out and forcing myself to move on from all the things I didn't understand (which is extremely hard for me lol)
The second half was way more understandable tho 😮‍💨🙏

But yes other than that
I had a fabulous time with Mav and Janie
The promise of this one being more rom-commy than the other two was delivered which made me SO HAPPY
I adored all the funny characters and their antics
AND THE ROMANCE
it was slow burny in a good way
It felt like Janie definitely didn't really like Mav at first but Mav always had a tiny crush on her
that eventually grew to straight up yearning mmhmm
looooved that
Her characters are literally so romantic it makes me ACTUALLY JEALOUS
and hopelessly hopeful . . .
do men like mav who say swoony things like this exist??

The faith content in these books will always be my favorite
Every time I read one I feel so convicted and encouraged to be more open about my faith, EVEN AROUND MY OWN CHRISTIAN FRIENDS
like these characters just bring God up anytime in all different situations and I love that
I love all the Scripture references and the way Mav and Janie both REALLY had to surrender to God's plan
Again, this series is SO wholesome and godly and I just love that. It's refreshing to read

THE COVER IS DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE OF THE SERIES RAAAAAH

Ok and those two epilogues made me THE HAPPIEST EVER
A proposal and a married life with kids epilogue im sorry what did we do to deserve thattttt

✨Characters✨
💛Janie💛
Loved her. She was feisty and adorable. I honestly love how she was friends with all the guys lol Like it was so funnnnnn. Loved her verbal sparring with Mav. They are literally the cutest arggggg

💛MAVERICK TALBOT💛
Maverick Talbot everybody😫😍👏 I MEANNNNN OH. MY. HECK. I would marry him. I would marry him right now. (HIS COMMENT ABOUT THE HONEYMOON IM SORRY WAT?!?!?!? *squeals and passes out*) liek idk this guy so swoony stooooopppp. And yeah he was down bad we can't lie. So goofy and GOOD WITH KIDS STOP. AND SO PROTECTIVE OF KIT OH. MY. GOSH. He's like a lil brother that gives big brother energy AAAAAAH 😭 Loved all his pranks. Genuinely so silly and sweet UGH I need a Mav. Please 🙏🥹

💛My favorite married couples💛
Stop that we got to see Kit and Levi and Sophie and Austin married?? My Roman Empire fr. These couples are SO FRICKIN SWEET. Like oh my gosh I am in love with Austin Scott (I mean mostly because of how in love HE is with ✨his woman✨ (yes his words not even mine)). Best thing I coulda asked for these people. The not-family dinners were my favorite

💛Flooders guys💛
Love Booker and Luke and Knox. These were my guys. Sooooo funny and chaotic lol

💛Grey💛
Gets a special lil shoutout cuz even thought he was only in for like a couple pages, I still really liked him. When he called Mav an idiot for going after Janie cuz of Austin? LOOOOL I was laughing. Hope he gets his life on track 🥺😭🫡

✨QUOTESSSSS✨
"The man crush is real," Kit teases. But then her mouth twists.
"I'll allow it." Sophie passes Mav's other sock from the row behind us. "It's the only rational response to the man."

»facts. straight facts

Too real. Too weird. Less talking and more smiling. Like Aaron Burr, sir.

»Kristina Welch never lets me down with Hamilton references mmhmm 🤩

"I think you'd be the trail-mix cashews," I tell Mav.
"Watch your mouth, young lady," he says, trying not to laugh.

"Don't . . . touch your face."
"Why?"
"Just . . . don't."
I almost rub dirt all over it, just to defy his orders, but something in his voice gives me pause.
"You're wearing makeup today," he says, muffled as he tugs on the window's mechanism.
"Um. Yeah?"
"Don't touch it." His voice quiets. "Or your . . . dress."

»I love me some forced proximity and this conversation IDK I was swooning loool

Booker shakes his head before I've decided if I want to ask. "We were never on a real date, dude. I don't have a death wish."
I refuse to react.
"I just saw you drooling and couldn't help giving you a hard time."
"Whatever," I say, bored as I can manage.

»LOOOOL I love Booker for this 🤣

"Don't jump," Mav says in my ear—as he pokes my side.
I nearly jump out of my skin.
“No, I said
don’t jump.”

“I’m fine,” I say.
“I have a sister, so that lie doesn’t work on me. Dude giving you trouble?”
I send him a look.
“Mean girls?”
Apparently my face says enough.
“Shoot. Can’t fight girls. Even I have a code.”

»MAVERICKKKKK 😫

“You’re killing me, Scottie.”
Did he say . . . Scottie? My face betrays me—a gooey smile I immediately regret. One little nickname and my dignity packed a suitcase and left the building.

»SCOTTIE IS SUCH A CUTE NICKNAME OH MY GOSHHHHHH. I love nicknames *sniff*

“It works to get a hot bod.”
“Say that again and I’m filling a SuperRoom violation,” Booker says. “You’ll be issued a fine and a scented candle for confession and meditation.”
Hot bod, Mav mouths like a fourth grader.

“I dated the guy she liked, and I was too loud.”
Austin growls under his breath.

“Are you asking her to flirt?”
“No,” Mav says too firmly.

“That better not be Scottie.”
I rub my head. “Why?”
“You look like a dude texting his undoing.”

“Send me to heaven now, dude. I’ve lived. I’ll take her wherever she wants to go, but the world’s best is nothing compared to my woman.”

»AUSTIN. FREAKING. SCOTT EVERYBODY

Mav knew exactly whose sister I was. He still said, “Anytime.”

»We love a title drop 🤭

The next second, Mav is there. Before I can process it, his hands are on my waist as I’m being twisted around and lifted back onto the counter. The bowl disappears from my hand.
“No,” he says. “You cooked. You’re done.”

»when I tell you I nearly screamed and then slammed my kindle on the counter and had to just SIT THERE. *faints* my sister's exact words "You just need to take a break" and to my other sister "I don't know what to do with her" loooool no lie 😭

She jumps and shoots me a particularly vicious scowl. It hits me like a jolt of caffeine. There she is.

That voice. It does dangerous things to my nerves.

As I start across the field, my heart rate assures me this is an emergency. But it’s not. Of course Janie Scott gets asked out. She must have a constant barrage of drooling admirers.

It earns a laugh. A full, radiant laugh.
Grey cuts me a look that says,
Don’t droll, amateur.
»Bro see? Greeeeey looool

“Remember Kit’s friend Austin?”
“Duh. Dude could bench a car.”
“Yeah . . . that’s Scottie’s brother.”
His jaw falls. And then he laughs at me, full and long. “You’re an idiot.”
“Shut up.” But I can’t help but laugh too.

I’m selfish for her. Couldn’t wait till Open Dorms. Didn’t want to share her with my buddies.

But that day I felt like Dad’s equal. Not because I handled it well. Because we both had to live with what happened to our girl.

»like STOP that he calls Kit his girl it’s so cuteeeee

“What’s wrong?” I drop my knees to the rug. “Who do I beat up? Or I can write a petition. A scathing social media post.”
“Mav? What are you doing here?”
I was joking before, but the tremble in her voice makes me want to fight someone.

His hands on my head are a drug.
When it’s all free, he twists the curly mess, just like I do. Releases it and tries again. My eyes drift closed. Twist, twist, and up on my head. Too low. Won’t stay. I don’t say a word.

»He. Does. Her. Hair. *screaming crying throwing up*

“Next time you wanna cuddle, just ask. No need to weaponize Indian food, m-kay?”

“I’ve spent this whole time staring at walls, but I’m not allowed to take my shirt off?”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” I regret it the second it’s out of my mouth.
His gaze drops to the mat. He nods toward the mirror, voice too quiet. “You ever look in one of those?”

»*swoons*

“Kitty Cat, lemme in. I’m here.”

»SWEETEST LIL BROTHER 😭😭

“I have an announcement.” I spread my arms as every eye trains on me. “I have an enormous crush on Janie Scott.”
Austin rolls his eyes good naturedly. Sophie claps. Kit squeezes Scottie’s hands, approval leaking from her pores.
“You don’t say.” Levi almost smiles as he takes an elegant swig of water.

»these are my favorite people I swear.

“Now answer the question, woman. Will you please marry me?”

AAAANYWAYYYYYY

Okay, I’m gonna say it— best book out of the trilogy. I genuinely did not think I could love anyone more than Levi, and then Mav comes in with his lovable pranks, radical faith, honorable obedience, and sibling protectiveness, and I’m hooked.

This book cannot have gotten any better. A few random thoughts…

*Levi and Mav are the duo I never knew I needed
*Their not-family dinners were so cute
*The Capture The Flag game was the most entertaining and hilarious thing ever
*God worked in their lives in the CRAZIEST ways
*The scene where Mav and the Flooders made a honorary shirt for Janie with her own floor name…(you’ll just have to read it to find out what it is)
*The scene where Mav is putting up Janie’s hair and praying over her AHHH
*The scene where a certain someone(not gonna name names) comes to the library and Mav has no idea what to do, and ten verses are flying through his head… man, that was an intense scene. Especially when Levi and Austin showed up
*And obviously, Mav and Janie are the cutest couple ever(I am still obsessed with the fact that he calls her Scottie)

Favorite Quotes:

“I send up a wordless prayer, like ?!” (So me)

“Point rebellion at the right enemy and it becomes allegiance”

“The more I sang to Him that He is worthy, the more I felt like worthy isn’t my job”

“‘God doesn’t make people and leave them here as decoration’”

“‘Where we’re desperate for one answer, it’s harder to hear what He actually wants to say’”

“‘Does God ever say yes to prayers we shouldn’t have asked?’” (This made me rethink my entire life)

This is a book that will wholly immerse you into Gen Z's way of thinking and speaking, making it just right for new adults. Taking place on a Christian college campus, it's a glimpse into a world where the students are learning to make their faith their own and discovering what it means to follow Jesus unreservedly. It's exciting to join along for the ride, although it is not without its challenges as Janie and Mav realize that waiting on God doesn't always involve moving forward. In grappling with what delays mean in God's will, these two characters have the opportunity to find out what serving Him looks like in each season in life.

Janie's driven nature and desire to become a lawyer fighting injustice is complemented by Mav's zeal for the Lord, resulting in fiery interactions that extend beyond debate club, haiku poems, and close friendship circles. At the end of the day, this book shares how essential it is to listen to God's leading, especially when we are prone to run ahead of Him with the passions He has gifted us with. Readers who have read the previous Mayberry University books will be keen to see how the series wraps up with the set of three couples spurring each other on toward being faithful disciples of Christ.

Absolutely loved this book!!!!! I fall in love with kristina welch's characters everytime! I love Mav, all of his friends and Janie! They are soo cute and funny. This book got me in all the feels, laughing, crying, smilling. I love the banter and all the relationships in this book. It feels like you are actually there with the characters. It got me wishing they were all real and we could be friends! I love how kristina writes how each character talks with God, how different He speaks to them and how they respond to God's answer. I love all the bible references and it really challenges me in my own walk with God. To speak to Him more, listen and grow closer to Him. Highly recommend this book and any of kristina's books for that matter! I couldn't get enough!

Thank you kristina welch for this amazing book!

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!!! This book, is just jaw dropping! I never wanted to put it down! Mav and Janie are such good characters, and so relatable. Kristina Welch’s books never not inspire me in my relationship with Jesus, they are so encouraging, but also hold challenge and conviction in the way I live my life too. The romance was sooooo good, and I LOVE how so many things from the other first two books were tied in, that’s such a winner in a book series! I could not love this book anymore! Thanks Kristina Welch for another phenomenal book!!! 10/10 recommend!!

and so the Maybery University Series comes to an end ...

I have rarely been so sad about a series ending and about no longer getting to be part of the characters' lives. once again, I absolutely loved this book, which is no longer surprising after how much the first two have impacted me. Kristina has done it again - she has written another one of some of the most authentic Christian romance novels I've ever come across. and that's saying something given that Christian romance is my most-read genre.

the faith, the romance, the friendships, the tension, the college campus vibes, the adventures, the conversations, the hard and important truths - all these aspects combined create such a beautiful story that was hard to put down and that will absolutely be re-read in the (possibly near) future.

Kristina says it herself, and it's true - God is a main character in her books, and this one is no exception. Janie's and Mav's relationship with God feels so authentic, and the struggles that come along with being a follower of Jesus are portrayed in a way that is entirely relatable. my heart broke for Janie's contorted view of God so many times, and Mav's bold way of living out his faith has inspired me in a way that few novels have so far.

it was so beautiful still getting to be part of Kit, Levi, Sophie, and Austin's lives and seeing some more of their journey while at the same time meeting new characters that were just as lovable and easy to relate to. the book made me feel so many different emotions - joy, sadness, frustration, anger, excitement, giddiness, and so on - but what stuck out the most was that it made me feel closer to God, made me want to grow in my faith, and made me want to take more time to listen in to what He wants to do in my own life. I think it's the greatest compliment if a book leaves you feeling closer to Jesus instead further away.

I am beyond grateful to have come across this series and Kristina as an author. the books of the Mayberry University Series have truly become some of my favorites - some of the easiest five-star ratings I've ever given - and Kristina has become of my favorite authors. I can't wait for all the other projects that are hopefully waiting in the future.

here's who I would recommend this book to. anyone who loves contemporary Christian romance but isn't content with the washed-down faith content you find in many of the books labelled with that genre. anyone who is longing for more of Jesus. anyone who wants to escape to a ficitonal world but come back feeling encouraged and closer to God. anyone who loves a good love story that has you giggling, kicking your feet rooting for the characters, and feel aaall the feels. and really, anyone who has the slightest interest in Christian romance and is open to a novel that might convict you, make you think about some hard things, but eventually will leave you wanting more of God. if any of those things apply to you in the slightest, I deeply encourage you to give the Mayberry University Series a chance. I can only speak for myself, but those novels have impacted me more than any other ones have, and I pray they will do the same for you.

Christian College Romance + Top tier faith content

Mayberry University #3
*I recommend reading this series in order.

Anytime has joined the small list of books that I don’t want shut up about. That’s the best way I can convey just how meaningful this book and entire series is to me. I wish I could put it in the right words to make everyone understand just how special this book and the entire series is to me and why they should read it. I couldn’t stop thinking about continuing it, but I also didn’t want it to end.

Things I LOVED about Anytime:
*The Mayberry University college setting: I absolutely love the college setting. Mayberry has been such a great setting for this series and I could read many more books following this campus and the characters we’ve met along the way.

*The found family trope: Kristina Welch did a great job creating an amazing friend group in book #1 and I’ve loved being able to follow them throughout this series. Although I did miss Haymitch and Mia! I loved the “Not family” weekly dinners. Mav’s roommates were the best and I loved how the Flooders took her in.

*Sibling connection: Austin’s little sister + Kit’s little brother was such a great connection! I was curious to see how it would go especially with how protective Austin is of his baby sis.

*Janie’s college experience: Janie didn’t have the same college experience as Kit and Sophie, and a lot of it was SO relatable. I wanted to give Janie a hug!

*The humor: Such great humor and banter throughout the book. Plus some crazy pranks!

*Faith: The Faith in these books is always top tier. It’s one of my favorite things about Kristina Welch’s books. The way Mav and Janie worked so hard to obey and follow God was inspiring. Definitely some of the best Faith content!

*The romance: Mav and Janie’s romance is so good. I really loved their relationship. They went from sort of enemies to teammates to friends and more.

*Chapter 58: I was not expecting…I was shook and my heart was pounding!

*Epilogues: Loved BOTH epilogues! So fun to see them in two different points in life!

As for things that I would have liked more of, Mav’s roommates. I’m always going to want more of the friend group and I would have loved more scenes with them in the last half of the book, especially with Janie. But either way I adore their friendship with Janie and Mav.

While I loved the banter/references, there were times I wasn’t keeping up or aware of what they were referring to. Although this was a little thing every once in a while that didn’t hinder my love for this book!

I loved this series and found ways to relate to Kit, Sophie, and Janie throughout their books. I can’t wait for more people to discover this gem of a series!

*I received an ARC copy of this book by the author, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Kristina Welch has done it again!! ❤️ I have absolutely loved all three books in the Mayberry University series and each one has given me another reason to love her writing. When I found out that book three was going to be about Mav and Janie, I was SO excited, and let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint! Their story was everything I hoped it would be and more.

One of the things I appreciate most about Kristina’s books is how clean and wholesome they are while still giving you a story that keeps you invested in the characters. It is so refreshing to find books that I can enjoy without having to worry about inappropriate content. But even more than that, I love how beautifully she weaves faith throughout her stories. I especially love that God isn’t just mentioned every now and then, but is truly at the heart of her stories. Faith is an important part of her characters’ lives, and she does such a wonderful job of showing that through their choices, their growth, and the way they learn to trust Him. I also love how much Scripture she includes throughout her books. It is so encouraging to read a story that points you back to God and His Word while still giving you a romance you can get invested in.

All three books in this series have been such a joy to read!

Kristina, thank you for sharing these stories with us! ❤️ I have loved every book in this series, and I am already looking forward to whatever you write next!

If you love clean romance with wonderful characters, meaningful faith, and stories that leave you encouraged, I highly recommend the entire Mayberry University series. You won’t regret picking these books up! 🥹💕

This book is SO GOOD!!!! It had me giggling and KICKING MY FEET in joy! The parts where past characters pop in are so cute, and Jamie and Mav’s relationship is so perfect, and yet not. They strive for Jesus together just like I want to! This book will make you scream, laugh, giggle, and have you wanting to tell every person you know about it. And the jokes are absolutely HILARIOUS. And the references? DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED! This book mentions so many good movies and music artists, and Hamilton! But besides all that this book will make you want to know and obey God more. It will make you want to wait for the person God has for you, and for the plans he has. It will even make you want to volunteer at your local church. It will also make you want to stay up until at least 1:00 am reading it. Some warnings; there are definitely a few heavy topics that are carried over from previous books, and you definitely have to read those books first. Finally, if you hate a good book that only makes you want more of Jesus and to have fun with some good friends, skip this one. If not, DIVE IN. Preorder or order ASAP!!!!

I absolutely couldn’t wait to read this book. I read the first one because I asked God what to read and he just said Anything. I immediately knew what book He said, it was the cupcake cover. From book one God has completely been my buddy read. Every book has been whispers from God and touching on things in my life.

I have been through things very much like Kit and Sophie. But personality wise Janie hit the mark.

I will say reading them in order is a must, but in my head I felt like I was Kit or Sophie and Janie was my little sister. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman, but it didn’t feel that way reading the Mav parts.

It was such a good book. I highlighted so much of this book. But the things that stood out to me was when Janie and Mav stopped trying to be in control and let God have it. I think that’s a very big theme in all three books in this series. It’s definitely something I would say most people have trouble with. Making this so relatable even if the storyline doesn’t relate to you.

Anytime by Kristina Welch is full of tons of Jesus —always my favorite— heart, and comedy. Kristina always delivers in writing lovable characters who love the Lord so authentically, which always helps to encourage me in my faith, teaching me new things every time I read them. Anytime was no different! This book really teaches readers to trust in God’s plan and timing even when we cannot always see the end result.

On top of this message, we get to experience what it’s like to develop unlikely friendships and of course a little romance and comedy throughout.
Throughout this book, I learned, I swooned, and I laughed out loud. Mav has easily become one of my favorite male main character in the Mayberry University Series, and Janie was so relatable!

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking to grow their relationship with the Lord while also being encouraged in a season of waiting. If you are looking for a good, wholesome read with lots of Jesus, lots of giggles, and lots of sweetness then this is definitely for you!

I loved it so much!!! The setting of Mayberry is very wholesome, and I instantly liked Janie and Mav.

Their chemistry is awesome!!! Just so fun to read.

I could relate to them well and felt like I was getting a look inside a real person’s head, especially when reading Janie’s perspective.

It’s great to spend time with characters who love Jesus, and the book encouraged me to pray more often and read my Bible more.

I love Kristina’s writing style. It feels natural and is super easy to read, but at times, the story felt a little too long without much happening. While I appreciated the book's Christian themes, there were a few aspects of the theology that I didn't fully agree with.

But overall, I enjoyed reading the book a lot. I would definitely recommend it.😊🥰

I cannot even express how much I loved this book. It's been awhile since I've read the first two so I can't say for sure but this genuinely might have been my favorite of the series. I loved the family not family dinners and how Janie and Mav connect everyone so EVERYONE IS RELATED NOW!!! Everybody's favorite married couples--Kit and Levi, Sophie and Austin--make reappearances, as mushy and gross and amazing as ever! Unfortunately, some less likeable characters make some unwanted appearances (plot twist of the century). After reading the first two, Levi was my dream guy (sorry Austin, but not my type), but Mav may have just replaced him. Overall, amazing amazing amazing.

This was a fun Christian college romance!
When Janie and Mav meet, they seem to be opposites, but slowly realize they have a lot in common and can compliment each other's abilities.
I liked seeing these characters develop! There was a lot of fast paced dialog and movie references, which both kept me engaged. Characters from past novels made appearances so we could see where their lives had taken them. Faith development and listening for God was a major component that impacted the character's decisions.
This book will leave you happy for Janie and Mav and the whole Mayberry crew.

Kristina never ceases to make me crave more and more of the characters, feelings, and experiences she expresses so beautifully on paper! I’m telling you right now, you will swoon and squeal at 1:00 AM reading this book.

From the intricate character development to the genuine humanness portrayed to the omnipresence of a real God, I am wholeheartedly grateful for her dedication and courage to use her gifting to create such impactful stories.

Thank you, girl! I am so happy I stumbled upon the crazy, goofy, loving, and sweet students of the Mayberry University series!

This was an amazing college Christian romance. Mav and Janie's story was truly terrific. The characters were relatable, and I could understand their perspectives. It was also great to see where the other characters were and how they had progressed. This is an amazing Christian novel by Kristina Welch, and I would definitely recommend it. 😊

Mav and Janie. These two were cute! They may have the sassy banter down to a fine art but when it comes to it, they show up for each other, without a question. The slow burn is worth it for these two, to be able to see them form a friendship before anything else.

I loved how they kept God in the centre, and communicated with prayer throughout the story. A sentence, a small chat, just some kind of connection to Him throughout their day, where they were at. It showed realness and their dedication to following Gods lead.

It was great to see the other characters from the series here too, and see the support ongoing with all of them in their friendship groups as it has been in previous books.

Anytime is book 3 in the Mayberry series and what a fun addition it is!

I loved Janie and Mav's hesitant, slow-burn attraction. Neither wants to admit there is a spark. Watching them fight their feelings while being forced to co-lead a campus club together was amusing. The romance builds naturally as they slowly learn to appreciate each other's quirks. Janie and Mav also inspired me as they sought God's will in their lives when their hearts were confused.
