I love Goudey's writing style, and so does my three-year-old. The introduction to this book was a bit dry compared to some of her other books, but the story proper - about Graywings and Big Graywings and their babies - was excellent. Goudey is even better than Jim Arnosky, especially for the early elementary audience and preschoolers who like long books.
