Perfect Book for new parents (and grandparents!)

It's been a long time since an infant has been in our home and with two grandbabies arriving within the same year I came to realize how much has changed since I had children. When I had my kids we didn't think much about "sensory" play and "exercises." As the title of this book says, we put our kids on their tummies on a blanket, gave them a few colorful toys, and they all turned out OK! But as I said, times of changed and there is an overload of information out there. Get this book and don't worry about the rest! It covers everything possible your baby needs to work on for healthly physical development.

This could be read more as a listicle than a book, but the activities are creative while still being accessible. I've learned a ton from the CanDo Kiddo site and probably most of these ideas are on there or in the videos, but it's nice to have it all collected together here and organized well for which ones are most applicable given the current stage of the baby.

Lots of great tips, but most are free on the author's website.

The best infant play book I have read to date. The rationale for the activities is extensive and informative. The given activities are thorough and easy to do at home. Will be returning to this book again and again.

Interesting ideas but not worth a book

I like the ideas she has. They are pretty basic but creative especially when dealing with a small infant. However, the content doesn't justify the price of the book. I found everything she mentions on Pinterest directly from her. I suggest going online instead.
