Readers on Goodreads and Amazon have

"This is an intense erotic story mixed with a lot of violence and gore - paranormal horror erotica at its best"

"Enough already, how much more can a reader take, Mr. Keys? A lot more, it seems, as I couldn't pull my eyes away. "

"I think dreaming is now off the table. Mr. Keys is just that good. I was begging no, all the way through his novel, and something tells me the author wanted me that way. Thanks for the vicious ride through your erotic story and mind, Eric Keys."

"Eric has out done himself with this hot, gory read! I'm not usually into this type genre and yet I can't seem to "not" read an Eric Keys book. He has a way of writing that turns me on when I know I should be turned off. The plot starts off with hot steamy sex and never stops! (I will secretly be fantasizing in the dark with my lover about this read!) Whoo!"

"Eric Keys writes like a mind on fire, fearless in exploring the bleak urges lying beneath a soul; his words dart about the darkest images, planting them swiftly and painlessly in your mind, leaving you haunted with questions you are not sure you want to explore. And the unabashed fun he seems to have eviscerating his characters is too good not to eavesdrop on."

"In the mood for feeding the more calamitous side of your desires? Looking to discover more? Mstislav will take you by the hand, look you coldly in the eyes and drag you kicking and screaming through your darkest yearnings… and leave you smirking in anticipation for your next dark evening alone."

"Mstislav is precocious; it’s poignant, it’s fun. There’s a subversive joy in these pages; a cheeky challenge to the natural order. Could the power of sex really take over the world – there’s no doubt that sex is a powerful force – just suppose there was a way of channeling that power?"

"Eric Keys successfully manages to inject plenty of tension, discomfort and intense sexual torture and violence that will take many readers on a nefarious journey of paranormal erotica they will find hard to forget."

Wow! This is an intense erotic story mixed with a lot of violence and gore - paranormal horror erotica at its best! This story starts off with a bang - a dubious consent threesome at a bakery where Angela, the tease, gets exactly what she's been asking for. Then the paranormal mystery starts up and the reader learns about Angela's mysterious, Slavic husband Roland and the experiments he performed in "The Old Country." These experiments have led to the birth of the demonic figure Mstislav, Angela's step-son who ends up using her and his biological mother to gain power over the humans in order to break free from his prison and rule the earth. There is a lot of intense sex in this story and a lot of blood and gore. I started reading a few pages, intending to take a break and make supper. Well, supper was late because I could not stop reading until I had finished the story to see how it all would end. A compelling and well-written story!

Secrets, Sex, and Mstislav...

"Wait, my job," said Angela. "If people found out…"

Angela may not have consciously gone into the coffee shop in hopes of a graphic (and dubiously consensual) sexual encounter, but that's what she finds as Mr Key's story begins. Her fear of the town's residents finding out what happened and that one of their school teachers is an erotica writer after hours, will soon subside when she finds the desire to follow the pleadings of a strangely familiar force, one stronger than mere shame, and one that will not be ignored.

With a distracted and suddenly religious husband ignoring her needs, the curious warnings of a traumatized student leads her into another life and an otherworldly reality that exists in her very own home, hidden deep beneath the well-covered past life her husband has kept secret from her.

Angela dives with eyes wide open into desires she isn't fully aware she carries with her, explores her new power, delights in demonic love and binges on murder all while finding herself feeling unsure in a new world she has eagerly helped usher in.

Eric Keys writes like a mind on fire, fearless in exploring the bleak urges lying beneath a soul; his words dart about the darkest images, planting them swiftly and painlessly in your mind, leaving you haunted with questions you are not sure you want to explore. And the unabashed fun he seems to have eviscerating his characters is too good not to eavesdrop on.

In the mood for feeding the more calamitous side of your desires? Looking to discover more? Mstislav will take you by the hand, look you coldly in the eyes and drag you kicking and screaming through your darkest yearnings… and leave you smirking in anticipation for your next dark evening alone.

Angela Hastings is the main female protagonist who works as a high school teacher in a small village in New England. She is newly married to a mysterious man named Roland, who is also Angela’s boss. Sometime after their union Roland abruptly loses interest in Angela and spends most of his time locked away in his workroom in the basement of their house. Angela becomes frustrated and soon seeks new sexual encounters with the other men in the village. The story starts off with a hot and steamy threesome with two guys from a bakery and continues to get even more hot and gory when Angela discovers her husband’s hidden secret in the cellar of her home and she comes face to face with a demonic man called Mstislav, who claims he is the son of Roland. Mstislav convinces Angela that she must help him to gain the strength to break free from Roland’s strong defences he has set up around the house that he is too weak to break. Angela’s lust gives Mstislav power, but he needs more death and fear before he can break free and embark on his mission to rule the earth. Angela is soon drawn in to a world full of blood, sex and glory as Mstislav promises to make her his queen and she is given a supernatural infused strength to reign over all men and women.

Eric Keys successfully manages to inject plenty of tension, discomfort and intense sexual torture and violence that will take many readers on a nefarious journey of paranormal erotica they will find hard to forget.

Much has been said about shattering taboos; mostly by me. I talk a lot about the final taboo as well. What the final taboo actually is, I really have no idea. I guess it’s subjective; pertinent to whom you ask. Is the final taboo forced sex? Incest? Bestiality? Cross species sex? Take your pick and muddle them up – they are all here in Erik Keys’ cool, crazy book Mstislav; Vengeance and Glory. There’s a little touch of necrophilia too – and fantasies, those dark yearnings that inform our night time dreams. You might well ask who ever would fantasise about having the gigantic genitalia of the opposite sex? You can be sure that he, or she is out there, seeking likeminded people, somewhere on the Internet.

Mstislav is a hot little tale. It’s fun; it’s tricky. I am absolutely sure that Eric Keys had a ball writing it. If you love wit; if you love creativity at its finest, if the idea of sex being fun appeals to you, then this book is for you.

Eric Keys’ book celebrates difference; diversity. He celebrates sex, sexuality and sexual orientation through the shimmering rainbow of a prism.

Mstislav is precocious; it’s poignant, it’s fun. There’s a subversive joy in these pages; a cheeky challenge to the natural order. Could the power of sex really take over the world – there’s no doubt that sex is a powerful force – just suppose there was a way of channeling that power?

I'll admit right off that this was my first encounter with the author's work. Not a Sci-Fi Erotica fan normally, but the blurb had me curious. The erotic pull from the beginning kept me invested in the story, even when I screamed out loud for the ride to stop.

Enough already, how much more can a reader take, Mr. Keys? A lot more, it seems, as I couldn't pull my eyes away.

Mstislav is a creature I never want to meet. Angela the woman I don't ever want to become, even if for a minute I thought I did. I think dreaming is now off the table. Mr. Keys is just that good. I was begging no, all the way through his novel, and something tells me the author wanted me that way. Thanks for the vicious ride through your erotic story and mind, Eric Keys.

This book has some serious twisted twists and turns, which I loved. My only grip is that the ending felt a little rushed. I would have liked to have read a bit more about the war.
