This is my review for Ardent by Alexia Purdy
I havent read the other stories as of yet but will be adding reviews as I do.

I'd like to start off by saying thank you to Ms. Purdy who gave me an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book is just one of ten stories by ten amazing authors in the Shifted Anthology.
Ardent is the first book in the ArcKnight Chronicles
I've read several shifter books this year and Ardent is by far my favorite. It's not a long book, I finished it in one sitting, but it is a GREAT book! I loved the backdrop of the story it was very thought out and original.I really enjoy a good forbidden love story. The characters sucked me in from page one. I loved their personalities and definitely want to get to know them better. I could go on and on about what I loved about this story but I hate spoilers and don't want to give anything away so I'll keep it short and sweet. But I have to say if you love a good shifter story or a good love story then you should definitely pick this one up!

This review is for Twice Bitten by Morgan Jane Mitchell I will update to show reviews for the anthology as a whole upon release.

Those who follow me know I love paranormal books but they might not know that I don't like were stories that much. But let me tell you that has changed with this book. Morgan Jane is a favorite of mine but every time I read a book of hers I think OMG this is my fave and this time is no different. I really love the whole set up she has going on here. The story was fantastic. I don't want to give anything away so it hard to write this review. But Fia will find herself in a position and you won't know who she should believe or what path she should take. The ending left me speechless and that is all I will say about it for now! But trust me when I say you have not read a story like this one and you need to read it!! I could see this being a CSI TV series of weres - seriously I am so stoked to see where this could lead.

This review is for Ardent: The ArcKnight Chronicles by Alexia Purdy

I loved everything about this story! Shifters, banished royalty, broken betrothal, opposing packs and a prophecy! I want to know so much more about the characters and this world! This is definitely going to be an amazing shifter series and I can’t wait for more!

I have pre-ordered this box set. If Alexia Purdy's story is any indication, this is going to be a spectacular set!

This review is for Ardent (ArcKnight Chronicles #1) by author Alexia Purdy.....At least that was how I started it. I had time to read all the stories and man what can I say is Thank you so much Alexia Purdy for helping me find more authors to indulge in when I find myself losing patients anxiously waiting for more from you!

I was a little skeptical when I started this. I mean what are the chances that you will like every author right? I started with Ardent which of course I didn't put down until it was finished and I was just left wanting more (which never fails because no matter what I read of hers I am left with a feeling of loss since I once again am playing the waiting game ready for more)! So I thought I would tempt fate and read the others. I was so wrong! Each story has been a truly fast paced and suspenseful! From the lust, to the danger every one of these has been worth every moment spent reading it. Sure some of the styles my be a little less reformed so to speak. Having said that it has helped me to be a little less biased and more open to just seeing what happens in the story lines. To lean back and enjoy the ride! I was so hooked by the 1st one that I instantly went online to try and grab up the next book in that series and had completely forgotten that I had received this as an ARC and it was the newest one in the series....Needless to say I added that to my watch list along with all the authors that were involved in creating Shifted. You can feel each of the main characters and experience their progression along the way. I had a hard time leaving the book alone (like to work, shhh don't tell my boss!) trying to get a page in here and there whenever I had a free moment. If you like intense, lust, love and the supernatural then this is what you want to read. You will not be disappointed!

In Too Deep (Others of Edenton #1)
by: Brandy L. Rivers

Running Into Destiny

This series must be read in order. The first book is New Beginnings. This is the second book. I can't wait to read the next one!

Fallon is done with men. She is going to drive until she can't drive anymore an then sort out what she is going to do once she has had some sleep. Or at least that WAS the plan until a gorgeous werewolf plowed straight into her on her bike. What is he running from. Is he going to be okay? Will her bike?

Brody has been in mourning for his dead wife Sarah for over four yers. No matter how many women chase him. He just isn't ready to move on. Running from two vampires causes him to crash into a bike. Why is he so drawn to the redhead whose bike he totalled? How is she okay after the accident?

***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy a little horror in their paranormal modern fantsy romances with plenty of action, thrills and suspense :)

Ardent (The ArcKnight Chronicles #1) by: Alexia Purdy

Fated To Be

This series must be read in order. This is the first book. I can't wait to read the next book MarkTier!

Lily has trusted the wrong person her whole life. Elise stole her Ardent Talisman which led to her banishment from the ArcKnight pack. Alone and desperate after barely escaping something nefarious by some skeevy guy she is almost eager to accept help from a MarkTier soldier. Can she really trust him? Why would he help her?

Ephram is the second Prince of the MarkTier pack and has been looking for Lily since they were betrothed as children. In his mind at least he has vowed she is the only one for him. He will do anything to help her no matter the cost. Will they find the woman who betrayed her? Will they get her Talisman back? Will she ever feel for him the way he feels for her?

***This series is suitable for adult readers who like a little twisted prophecy in their modern paranormal fantasy with a dash or romance and loads of intrigue, suspense &mysteries around every corner :)

Shifted – 3.5

This is certainly a deal! Anthologies are always fun as a way to get to know new authors. Also, if you are a PNR fan, particularly shifter romances, this is a good collection for you.
All of these authors were new to me and I’m intrigued by a few and may continue on to read more from them. I enjoyed most of the stories, though I was not really enthralled with any of them, lost in the story, or had an urgency to finish them. There is definitely some steam in this anthology and I was fanning myself from time to time!
I did fall for some of the heroes, particularly Brody from In Too Deep. I have to say, this shifter romance was not the norm and I definitely enjoyed it the most. The relationship between the hero and heroine is unique for a shifter romance and it was refreshing.
Most of the novels are part of a series and often, I found myself a little lost. They were not very solid as a standalone and I would have preferred that the included book be number 1 in the series.
Overall, there were some good novels and some that fell really flat for me. However, that’s the beauty of an anthology such as this. A great opportunity to take a chance on someone new. The books may not have all been for me, but I wouldn’t discourage you from trying it. You may find that you ended up finding something new that hooks you!

4 1/2 Stars!!!

10 Amazing authors have joined together in this awesome collection of paranormal romance stories. The stories in this book will take you on wild rides through magical worlds full of werewolves, vampires, Shadowstalkers. Each author brings their own unique, strong, sexy male and beautiful female characters alive with vivid detail and just pulls you into their characters lives and worlds leaving you feeling their stories as you read them. I loved this collection. Thanks to this set I've found a few new authors to add to reading list as well. I'd be willing to bet if you buy this book you will find some also.

I highly recommend this collection to anyone looking for new authors to try, or who like me just love paranormal romances. You will love these stories!!!

This review is for the complete anthology, I shan't be singling any of the stories out.

This is a collection of shifter stories - some are part of a series and some are the start. This makes for an interesting read, but none of the stories leave you unsure of who or what is going on. Some do have a cliffhanger ending though that will immediately leave you wanting more, which is a good thing! There were a couple that I thought were outstanding, and a couple that weren't as enjoyable for myself, BUT on the whole, this was a fantastic collection.

All the stories were very well written, with a good plot line and smoothly paced. For fans of hot, sexy shifter stories, I can definitely recommend this set.

* I received this anthology from Hot Tree Promotions in return for a fair and honest review. *

Review for Ardent, by Alexia Purdy only. (Will edit when done reading this Anthology.)

4.5 Stars

I thought I was done with werewolf stories... The last few I read felt like the same story retold over and over again. I was wrong. In Ardent, which is available on its own and in the "Shifters" Anthology, Alexia Purdy brings the sizzle and flair back to the werewolf tale.

She imbues this story of werewolf royalty with an interesting twist, a bit of mystery, and a little heat to wet the appetite. The tale will continue in the story MarkTier, also available on October 22nd, and I cannot wait to learn more about Lilliana and Ephrem's story!

Having read a couple of the books in this anthology I knew it was going to be really good, because the authors are awesome. I have read from a couple of the others, not the book here but others of theirs so there again I knew was going to be good. And I wasn't disappointed all were very good reads. Each story I would consider a great read on their own but together it made for one great one right after another. If you love paranormal romance this is an anthology for you.

As I read more of the books in this set I will update this.

Ardent By Alexia Purdy

This series must be read in order. This is the first book in the series.

This novella is a great new take on shifters and their hierarchy. It's fell of twists and turns and kept me guessing as to what would happen next. I cannot wait to read more from this series.

This book is suitable for adult readers only.
